Dollar General

Recently started visiting the Dollar General's in my area to see what all the hype is about. I've seen YouTube videos of people stacking coupons and saving money in this economy and that's exactly what in setting out to do!

Upon entering the store, I immediately noticed how NEAT and TIDY this store is. I have visited all 5 area Dollar General stores in the area and this is the one that is the most organized. The aisles were clear. I didn't trip over anything or die. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman stocking one of the aisles close to the registers. He assisted me with the layout of the store. He was at the register when I was ready to checkout and answered any questions I had. He was super friendly and insightful. He ended up being the store manager, Jermaine! Thanks so much! I truly appreciate your assistance! This location is the furthest from me but I will definitely be stopping back by!

Went today and XAVIER was so kind /friendly. I went in having the worst day of my life everything was going wrong for me and left with a smile thank you Xavier you made my day please never change. And by the way I have never visited a store as clean as this one at 183/Beltline. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming thank you everyone ❤

I like the store but they close super early!! Update the time THEY DON'T CLOSE AT 10PM!!!

Nice store. But closed beyond early around 5, claiming short staffed. I've been to multiple locations where there were only 1 person the entire time. I get it everyone is short staffed, so why even open if you knew it was gonna be that way, also the staff seemed like they didn't even want to be there.

The aisle are very small but lot of great buys and low prices

The staff is rude, act as if they don't care, don't know what is on sale and the front is left unattended. I stood at the front counter for awhile waiting for someone to come and check me out. I had to go walking to find the celerk; she was standing around talking to another employee. Not all of the employees are like that, but one guy was rude and it was not call for. I'm glad the store is close to home, but the service is awful sometimes. N. Irving

Don’t even deserve one star. Very rude cashier when I asked her a question after her scanning my items. She swung screen towards me and told me to calculate myself? Like really I go in that store a lot but not anymore. I did not purchase my items after that experience. I really need to speak with someone from corporate about this situation. Because the cashier did say a lot more than needed

Placed an online pickup order 2 days in advance. When it came time to pickup, I called to see if it was ready. They couldn't find the order at first. Then she told me to give them 2 hours. Well, once I got off the phone, my order was canceled. I called then back, and they said we didn't touch anything. That's weird. She said. I'm sorry, but it was super obvious that they didn't want to deal with it from the start and just canceled the order.

I repeat don’t go to this dollar general he stole my money off my card and argued me down. Told me to get the f out the store and the other worker Hispanic was smiling at my 7 year old daughter sick people in this world . So i was just lost without my money and not able to get my items once police was called.

Never open during posted store hours. Have attempted 3 times. Most recent 14 March 2022 at 7pm. Store closed. About 15 others were also trying to shop. What a waste of money to open a new store but not be open for business. There was not any signage posted on the doors or anywhere, mentioning that the store would be closed or if/when it would reopen.
