I’ve shopped at RR for a long time. I think this experience was the best. Went to the Solana Beach location for the first time. So much nicer! Great service and our sales person really knew his shoes.

I came in and was surprised to see this store being much smaller than the main one I go to, however I still had a good experience. Jeffrey helped me and did a great job. He asked me questions about what types of things I like and don't like in shoe comfort, if I have any physical pains in my body, and other related questions. Based on my answers it lead me to a "Max Cushion Stability" shoe, so Jeffrey showed me all the options of that they had. He also got me set up with custom inserts (expensive though). In total, walking out with a pair of shoes and inserts cost me $268!!!! YIKES. VERY EXPENSIVE BUT STILL WORTH IT. My ankles roll inward a lot (pronate) when I walk, so getting shoes and inserts to help this will hopefully lower my body pain levels. I'll keep you all updated on how it goes...I had to order the shoe in black and white online because they only had purple in the store, so I will update once I have them and wear them daily.

I love the customer service and help that is very consistent with the RR Solana Beach store ONLY. The staff there is always helpful and consistent. The other RR stores i honestly had to stop waisting my time with the bad service from the employees unfortunately and the same for the phone support. So staying up, I am always satisfied with the RR brick and mortar being Solana Beach you can’t go wrong.

Seen by a staff member almost immediately after walking into the store. He was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Picked out the kind of shoe I wanted. Tried one on and ordered the color I wanted as well as making a return in no time at all.

Great store to get running shoes at, my wife and I were able to pop in and find a perfect pair easily. The staff is very accommodating, making sure your questions are all answered, as well they provide fabulous suggestions. Large selection, good pricing, and the store was very well kept. Thank you for making a great experience staff.

I called and asked if I could replace shoes I bought 8/2022. Same size, same shoe. Unfortunately the shoe was discontinued. However, I was told newer version available and would be on hold for me.
I have had back muscle issues for years. My trainer, Kayla, at Poway Burn Boot Camp told me I need Hoka's. My Physical therapist said I need Hoka's. My roommates daughter had a pair that I picked up and thought these are light.
The very next day I went to Road Runner In Salano Beach and started wearing my new Hoka's everyday. My back issues are so much better. Went from a pain level of 9 - 10 daily to 0 - 2. Thank you for the great advice and great customer service. I tell everyone to come see you. 🌟💕

Amazing selection of road shoes- If you are a trail runner, best to visit a different branch, due to a lack of trail specific shoes at this location. Otherwise 5/5 for amazing staff and support.

Jennifer was very helpful in getting me into a good pair of walking shoes. The color I wanted wasn't available in my size. She did all she could to try to find them in the warehouse and at other store.

Roadrunner Sports in Solana Beach was a pivotal experience with how I will further approach footwear. I came in with a very unique issue; a 23 year old with a neurological condition called drop foot, due to limb salvage surgery with bone cancer, in which part of the surgery consisted of removal of a nerve that allows dorsiflexion (ability for the ankle to move up). I provide this information because I wear a brace called an AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis), which helps the lack of Dorsiflexion by lifting up the ankle for me with a carbon fiber spring plate that goes in the insole of my shoes. {I have the same brace as the 2020 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, Alex Smith (QB)}. I been Cancer free for about 9 years and have had drop foot since. I have never been able to find a perfect shoe for my AFO braces. I was previously a baseball player and now am an overall active person. I needed something that allowed me to feel normalcy within my gait and I how I perform.

STU, was very helpful in this process. He took measurements for insoles that will allow me to be more successful with my gait and physical activities. STU then found a perfect pair of shoes for me (we went through 10+ pairs) that accommodated with my foot structure and most importantly, my AFO brace. STU took nearly 2 hours of his time for me, and that is something that meant so much to me. STU was very informative and educational when explaining things to me that relate to my performance and how the anatomy of my feet can be fixed in a position that is beneficial for me.

STU went above and beyond.

I didn't give this google review information on myself to boast about my life, I gave this background information to help describe how STU was able to take my out of the ordinary situation and make light of it. STU made it happen. STU's out of the box thinking was something that gave me new perspective on my performance and the way I approach my footwear going further. STU has made a huge impact on myself and the many others that I see have praised STU for his outstanding customer service and work ethic on finishing what he started. Thank you STU and the rest of the Roadrunner staff at the Solana Beach location for giving people better opportunities to reach their performance goals.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a pair of Saucony trail runners. Previously, I’ve bought a couple of pairs of Brooks running shoes and a pair of Inov cross trainers.

Wonderful customer service with attention to our detailed requests from me and my daughter and even corrected a misaligned custom insert.

Hadrian was absolutely wonderful! He was able to figure out why I was charged more and gave me the price adjustment without hesitation. I like this location better then Kearny Mesa.

The customer service was excellent!! With the help of Brandom and Erik I was able to choose running shoes that fit best for my feet. They very helpful by explaining what the difference is between stability and neutral shoes. I will be going to Road Runner Sports for all my running shoes.
