Such an awesome, beautiful little market with a little of just about everything in it! Amazing olive oil, produce, snacks, drinks, wine and home goods! The folks working there are so amazing!

Lovely little store. Their olives are amazing and they have great cheese. We always stop here for charcuterie items & tinned fish. They also had fresh baked items, cookware, international items, and other specialty things. Always stop here when I'm in this part of town!

There is much more there in that small well curated shop than meets the initial eye. Everything is first rate excellent. If you're lucky and there's a tasting offered be prepared to get that too. Snacks, drinks, pasta and beans, oils, tinned fishes, vegetables, frozen local dinners. One of my favourite shops. Thank you.

One of the best specialty grocery stores I’ve ever experienced. Truly feels like a neighborhood, family-run store. Everyone is friendly and the wine selection is well curated. They are very knowledgeable about olive oil and can help explain the differences in real terms. The Japanese selection is fantastic. Tons of “treats” to be discovered as well. I won’t spoil it. Just go!

You can even shop their stuff online.

The most charming market in Portland. You could think of Wellspent as more of a pantry style spot, with so so many things you didn't know were missing from your own kitchen. As well as meats, cheeses, and pizza kits with ingredients all sourced locally. Such high quality products, they've for sure been sourced by foodies :) I just got some beautiful salt there from Norway, think Maldon but silky. so. good.
The staff has always been the literal sweetest, and super knowledgable about the products they carry. Highly recommend!

I found this place looking for a store in which I could fine quality food and items that a professional chef would use. I was recommended to look at this place and I was not disappointed. At Real Good Food, you find quality speciality items that help you expand your recipes and tailor the flavors. The staff is very knowledgeable and are able to help you in anything related to cooking.

The major items that they stock are: wine, vinegar, olive oil, grains, specific cheese, bread, etc.

I am very excite to go to their workshops and classes to learn more about the art of cooking. This is truly a hidden gem within Portland.

This is a small market that has many unique items all in one spot. They also have some local items from businesses in the area. It's nice that you can come here to find the hard to find items in person.

This has been our preferred spot for olive oil and salt for several years now. The SE Main St. location is only open selected hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I believe he's also at the downtown Farmers market some weeks. I recommend getting on the mailing list, to keep up to date with changes to the schedule. It's wonderful to sample their different oils, ranging from an excellent every day oil to more exotic offerings. Having a specialist for oil and salt is one of the things that makes Portland a fun place.

Update - June 2019 - Real Good Food has now moved into a lovely new home on NE Couch (at 10th, I believe). The new space gives them more room for new products - we picked up a package of salt that is harvested from the insides of barrels used to produce fish sauce. They also carry Duke's mayonnaise, which makes a friend from the south very happy. Be sure to try their Spanish vermouth - incredibly refreshing. And it's still the best place in town for olive oil and specialty vinegar.

A small shop run with love. We are tourists from Germany and stayed at the Eastside Lounge across the street. was looking for something to eat and found this place. The owner is super nice and helpful. We enjoyed shopping here and can only recommend this little shop. He even cut the bread for us because we didn't have knives. To anyone in the world reading this, please buy something to keep the store going. Greetings from Germany to the owner.

I had an online order sent across the country that unfortunately got damaged in the holiday shipping rush- but I called in & Wellspent kindly offered to reship the items (though also offered the option of a refund). The reshipment of Club Mate arrived safely- thank you!

Been getting RGF products for years now. So happy to see they’ve got a brick and mortar store! Best olive oil, salt, everything you need to make your everyday meals taste awesome (and fool people into thinking you’re a good cook). Also, super chill place that has vermouth on tap. The spritzers are great and ambiance is relaxed and fun.

Small, ultra curated market with local and imported fares. Lots of cutesy items that would make great last second gifts or add to your homes visual palette. We stopped in because they had some special edition natural wine and we walked out with a few extra goodies. Staff was super friendly and attentive, so we will definitely be swinging by again to support our local grocers.

Would definitely recommend taking an out of town friend if they are looking to bring home some tasty local souvenirs.

I had a nice time here! I got to sample a lot of different olive oils with some bread. After I was done sampling, I bought some olive oil. I also bought a really tasty Japanese rice cracker snack thing. We are almost out of olive oil already so we have to go back soon!
