This store is huge and filled with everything in stock. I was assisted by Jesse and the Kristin the managers, they are very knowledgeable. Jesse is the man, he was quick and very helpful with heavy tents i bought. I found everything i wanted in a few minutes. Superb service. Not to

Stopped in looking for a couple of items. I tend to have problems finding the right size of tennis shoe. Each maker and their models seem to vary in sizes and widths. It was nice to find a store with multiple types of tennis shoes. Mani the person helping was excellent. He really was patient and looked in back for each of the shoes I wanted to try.

It was great to find someone who gave such great customer service!

This place is a great local spot to get everything from camp cots to workout gloves.

Saw on the website this store had the shoes I wanted to purchase.Kristin and Malik were cool.I got a good deal was in and out no problems.

I can get baseball gear last second for my son if necessary, lots of gear for kids, not a ton of options for Adults in bats and gloves accessories

Awesome place - still looks, feels & smells the same as when I came here 20 years ago w my dad to buy stuff for Boy Scout camping trips. Y Prices are higher than Amazon but their return policy is awesome & so are their employees.

Definitely 5 Stars for this Big 5 location. Great staff, very helpful and aggressive to sell. Rio the store manager, Martin and the rest of the crew members were all awesome. The store is clean and well kept. The selections are not the largest in quantity but there's still a good amount of merchandise.

The employees work hard at this location, everyone was doing something productive. There attitudes are positive. There store is huge and well organized. The manager was nice and helpful. Parking sucks a little but its not too bad.

Can't beat the footgear prices.
I go there often. Always have gotten good attentive service.
Regularly have very good sales prices on low to mid- priced knives.
They carry a good selection of Kershaw brand knives, excellent quality for the price.
Plenty of parking.
While you are there go next door to Bristol Farms market. Best prepared food in town.

This is a pretty good sports store with a good variety of sports equipment at decent prices. Is it great?...no, but it's good. I needed a few different athletic and sports things, and I was glad to find that they had everything I needed...the back roller I wanted was even on a good sale. I would have normally given it 3.5 or 4 stars, but almost all of the other reviews on here are so unbelievably whiny and ridiculous, that I felt it deserved to have it's average bumped higher. To the person who got the wrong shoe size...why didn't you check the shoes yourself? It's not some boutique shoe store where they cater to you and place the shoe on your foot while you sip a mimosa...take some responsibility and initiative for yourself. And for the person who whined about getting disconnected on the phone...$#!% happens, STFU. Maybe they had 3-4 incoming calls and accidentally bumped you...happens all the time at many places. No reason to leave a vindictive 2-star review for a simple mistake, and you obviously never bothered to get back on the review and follow up. As for the other people who just made generic comments about being rude...since you couldn't leave any actual description about why you didn't like them, I'm sure you had some ridiculous demand about wanting to return muddy shoes or something that they wouldn't accommodate. If you want exceptional customer service and a first-class shopping experience, go to the Promenade or Beverly Hills. If you need decent running shoes or some other generic equipment for an okay price and don't want to drive far, Big 5 will do fine.

AWESOME, customer service provided at this store. the associate walked me to the items I was looking for and check out was really easy.

Pretty much the easiest place to get a discount on brand name sporting goods. There's always coupons on the internet and you can even get one just for signing up for their email list. No delay or anything. I specifically come here to get Wilson Evolution basketballs, which I tend to lose pretty often.

Found what I needed at the right price

Good selection and reasonable

I picked up a great pair of Nikes and New balance shoes for a fantastic price. I also got a plantar fasciitis shoe support which completely made my ankle feel better during my three mile run. Everything here is a great price, so it made getting what I needed all the less painful.

We came to this one cus the other 3 didn't have it.

They have a great selection, even odd stuff like men's rotary shavers and giant lighted magnifying glasses, love the T shirt selection and camping stuff.
