I LOVE Winn Dixie. I grew up with Winn Dixie and have been a loyal fan since.
The Palmetto store is clean and stocked. The employee is genuinely kind and will help you anyway they can.

This store goes above and beyond. I has been looking for a certain meatloaf mix that’s awesome. I asked two of the meat dept managers about it and they said they “would look into it”. Well typically nowadays I would’ve returned a couple weeks later to another empty shelf but low and behold I returned and the shelf was fully stocked. I bought 4 of them and left one for another customer. I hope you read this and if you do Thank You very much for helping me out!

It depends on what you are shopping for to see if you save any money always is very clean with bigger isle's And everything looks so good

It took 5 years but today I finally found Superman ice cream at this Winn-Dixie location! Not the vanilla flavored rainbow swirl Florida tries to pass as Superman but actual Superman ice cream made with BLUE MOON! Just like in Michigan!

I was in the meat department a young man on his way to lunch and stop and asked could he help me the guys name was Seth he cut me 2 of the prettiest ribeyes he made my day thank you again Seth

Clean store quick in and out.

Well stocked except for pasta? Bread is hidden in an obscure isle.

Meat department Butchers need proper equipment and proper tools to do their job! They do not have a small meat grinder (counter top) available to use for small order customer requests. However Butchers are friendly and willing to assist!

Seafood department counter never has been open, stocked or staffed anytime I go to store! May as well not even pretend to offer. Lol.

Bakery - Deli staff are good and area is clean. When department is closed, food products are not left out and put away or are covered in their case. Good Job!

I love this store! I've never had an unfriendly experience with the staff. The staff has always been helpful when we've needed something and any issues related to product is handled respectfully and quickly. Also, Mr. Howard, my usual cashier, is the best! He's always nice and knowledgeable of sales, he explains my receipts (my pts and savings) and I appreciate him! So thank you for doing your jobs and doing them well.

The store was clean and fully stocked. It is the best visit I have had in a while. Keep up the good work. Thanks to Andrew for helping me find what I needed.

I think Winn Dixie is amazing I always feel I get more groceries for less $ than any other store, and the Winn Dixie card is AMAZING!!

So we just moved to the area. We are big Winn Dixie fans from our previous city. Our first trip into this Winn Dixie was not good. The young ladies at the registers were not happy to be there, not happy to serve anyone, they were pretty miserable. My wife and I both came in with big smiles and we tried to crack a few jokes and smile through the whole thing but we got nothing. "How are you?" "Okay". That's pretty much how it went and it didn't get better. It was such a big difference than our old Winn Dixie that my wife and I felt shocked to see how different of an experience it was moving to this small town of Palmetto.

But, our second time coming into this store, we were walking up and down the isles and the sweetest man stocking shelves suggested that we should get our 3 little boys to the bakery for some sweet treats for free while we shopped (we already know about this from our old Winn Dixie). And he wanted our boys to have a cookie so badly that he walked us all the way to the bakery and went in the back looking for someone to serve us, and came right out with a lady to give our boys some cookies. What a nice guy you are Mr. James. You're going to make our shopping experience so worth it now, and most importantly you've given us hope that excellent customer service is not dead in that store! We'll be seeing you about once a week! Thank you Sir!

Update: still amazing deals. We went there to prepare for the hurricane and they still had tons of product left. Great staff. Love going there!

This is an old original Winn Dixie, been there for years.

I am a frequent shopper at this store and I really enjoy it. The people in the bakery are always polite and seemingly happy to see us. Two managers I've seen and interacted with have always been pleasant. I also have 2 favorite cashiers. Howard and a young lady who's name I can't seem to remember. No matter how grouchy and/or rude a customer is towards him or how busy it is, Howard is ALWAYS smiling and kind. The young lady is polite and has always answered my questions. None of the above-mentioned employees have ever made me feel like they had something more important to do. Well done!

They were helpful and very polite. This was my first time going there and will be using them for my shopping. I did mention that a grocery store in North Carolina, BiLo gave 5 cents per bag a customer brought for their items. This was a credit applied to the bill. The cashier thought that was a great idea and would save on the plastic bags used and the environment.

This is strictly a review of the covid vaccination experience. It was completely hassle-free at the the time I went. No lines. Polite and helpful staff. The actual shot was delivered with exceptional care and surprisingly little discomfort.

I love Winn Dixies prices, especially their sale prices on meats. The pharmaceutical staff is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The deli has a good selection of meats, cheeses, and prepared foods. I have always had a great experience shopping at this supermarket. I definitely recommend stopping in and shopping here.
