Harmons Grocery - Cougar

Went to the Deli, and Brandon was a huge help. Was able to help me quick and got me my family dinner nice and fast. Highly recommend the Deli here! 👌

Here’s to my first grocery store review!

I sure hope the owners at this location are giving every credit, appreciation, and pay increase to their employees, because if anyone deserves they do.

Your employees, push through the toughest days and make this entire building and store the neighborhood in itself.

Regardless of the day! They make sure you are seen, and treated as a valued customer.

Endless love to the employees and a particular manger that deserves a raise and more - she deserves a week paid on a beautiful vacation.

Value your employees, because they are not only the faces and marketing, they are your actual value.

This is an excellent Harmons location.

There is a bank, USPS, fuel station, and if you need the additional assistance, a drive up grocery loading area right next to the check out.

If you need assistance loading your groceries, after checking out, let your cashier know and the bagger will assist you. You will drive your car into the loading zone, where they will load up your groceries. It's such a helpful service for those who are in need of a helping hand!

Their products are great and I love their meats and produce. Far superior to Smith's or other grocery stores in the area.

Pharmacy Specific Portion:
The pharmacy is also very helpful. My medication is very expensive and uncommon, so no pharmacy carries it regularly. It always has to be special ordered. At Walgreens, this could take up to 3-5 business days. Being heart medication, that's not acceptable.
Harmons pharmacy can have my medication in next day, around mid day. Some of my other medication I only use specific variants of generics (some generic and name brands use different inactive ingredients, which in my case is important) so we special order multiple medications of mine. Never had an issue and they are very helpful and quick.

The one time there was a delay, they drove to a store a few miles away and picked it up so they could partially fill my prescription. I was called and notified I would get a partial and the rest would be delayed, but because they went out of their way, I didn't mind one bit.

Whitney was great! I’ve done e ship a few times and this was the easiest it’s ever gone and she was kind which isn’t required but it helps! Thank you again Whitney!

My wife and I have been shopping here for the better part of 10 years and love this location. The front end managers are always really friendly and helpful. The produce is always much fresher than the alternative big box store down the road. I haven't had an unpleasant experience at this Harmons.

Chicken tender meal for life! The salad bar is also delish. This Harmons seems to always have the essentials in stock. Even during the great COVID pandemic of 2020 this Harmons had our cheese totinos, cotton candy yogurts, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Sure you pay a little more, but well worth the accessibility.

Always a clean and inviting experience here. My husband and I love their meat counter and are always willing to pay a little more here for quality. The butcher's are also very knowledgeable if you happen to have any questions.

Harmons has been my store since I moved to Utah 3 years ago. The service and especially the food has consistently been outstanding. I get deli meat slices as soon as I walk in the store and even if there’s one person back there, they help me right away every time. I’ve never found out of date food on their shelves and the quality of all of their brand name food is the best. I even bought masks there! Keep up the great work and thank you!

These guys are amazing! From ordering special items for me to cutting me a piece of new exotic produce for me so I can taste it before I buy it. The butcher even gives me bone marrow bones for my puppy! I don't know about other locations, but my Harmons is awesome!!!!

A few weeks ago while I was waiting in line I watched as a gentleman was unable to pay for his items. After a moment someone from management came over and cleared the purchase even though this person did not have sufficient funds and his card had been denied several times. I was really impressed by how this person from management read the situation and handle it.
I will also say Harmons is one of the few businesses that have made me feel comfortable during a pandemic. From the very beginning they have taking covid-19 seriously and enacted procedures to help employees and customers be and feel safe while working or shopping.
I appreciate that they are local and seem to have invested in the local economy and community. For what it's worth I think it's important to reward that kind of behavior.

Very clean atmosphere. Amazing produce (a little expensive), lots of vegan and vegetarian options.
Great flower/plant area for gifts

The Manager and the Mail Counter ladies went above and beyond to help me with some helium. It may seem silly but these balloons are extremely important because of a passing in the family. I am grateful these women are in the neighborhood. I thought Harmon's people weren't as good as they used to be but I am wrong. I no longer think that way. Thanks!

I have been shopping at the Cougar Harmons location for five years and it is my favorite grocery store around. I pass another Harmons and at least two other grocery stores to shop at the Cougar Harmons location. Their team is always available, they will walk you to the item you are looking for, not just tell you where it is. From the deli, to produce, meat, and bakery, always the highest quality service and food. They always bag the groceries, offer drive and load, and I can always find a close parking spot at this location. A great store overall.

I absolutely love this Harmons. Every time I come here it's clean and very organized. The staff is helpful and always smiling. I stopped going to Walmart because this Harmons has fresh vegetables and meat. Also the cashier's are so sweet and never make me feel rushed when I go get my WIC here. Unlike Walmart that always has an issue and can't ever get anything done right. The cashier's are always paying attention if they see you waiting in line they will call you over so you don't have to wait. I love it. Keep up the great work!

Jorge helped us pick out a new cheese to try for grilled cheeses tonight! Listened to what we like and made a great suggestion. He even let us try it before we bought it! Havarti cheese is a new found favorite! Thank you Jorge and your amazing customer service 👏🏼

Harmons has been a great place to work. When striving to get in to new positions - you really have to prove you can be the best you can be in every way. Harmons gives you the opportunity to go beyond yourself to be better than you are. I love that about Harmons, and I've never worked anywhere else that pushes you to be even better than average. I drive 20 minutes (40 round trip) to get my specialty items, and I am always treated as family. Brooke and Willie back in the meat department always makes my shopping experience a positive one. Thank you!
