WinCo Foods

This is the first Winco I ever went to and let me just say it turned me into a Winco fan.

The pricing on items is always cheaper than competitors and when they have deals (which there are a lot of them) those prices are insane.

This particular Winco is always clean and organized. For the most part it is well stocked as well. Sometimes produce and meat will go fast especially at the beginning of the week, but they are typically restocked by the next day.

The staff is always friendly. They aren’t over the top with customer service or anything but they are working hard to accommodate the people coming in.

Things to consider when visiting:

They do not take credit cards. (This is partly why they can offer lower prices)

You have to bag your own groceries. (This is pretty easy even if you are by yourself, but if you have a lot of stuff just be aware you are going to be there a little while bagging.

This particular Winco is extremely busy Sunday afternoon/evening.

Sometimes lines drag even self check out. I think this is due to a couple of things but the main thing being that the shoppers are checking out with a lot of items.

A couple of notes not worth demoting them a star: their self checkouts can be touchy and I frequently need an employee to help clear some sort of error code. The fresh meat section and seafood section sometimes takes a minute to get an employees attention to come help. I’ve stood there waiting before for 2-5 minutes while employees chat. Typically I’m not in a rush but I would just be aware.

Did some shopping here as I'm staying close by. I'm happy where I'm at and I'm glad I came here. I'm on a business trip but I'm thankful for being here. I got some good groceries. You do have to wear a mask and you bag your own stuff. It's not bad nor expensive. It's a good place to get a lot of things. I wish you all well and they do provide hand sanitation stuff. This Winco is the best I’ve been to! It’s also super clean when I’m in there and all the employees are nice and helpful. Boss Brenda is always working super hard to keep it running smooth 👍

Great place to shop. Prices are excellent. The bulk section can't be beat. Produce is good. The meat section has a great variety to choose from. They don't take credit cards, but debit cards are fine. The employees are always friendly and helpful.

I love the employee's and people of WinCo along with their great prices on everything 'food related' or 'snack' related that I need to get for myself or family members. I love the open feel of the aisles, and how everything is organized and easy to find.

I've been shopping at this WinCo location for a couple of years. I love that they are open 24/7 so that I can shop when it's convenient for me. They have great prices, great selection, and I love their bulk section! I've never had a negative experience that was caused by an employee. Each time I go here, the employees are helpful and friendly!

I don't like grocery shopping, but when I have to go, Winco is my favorite grocery store to shop at.
It has a great selection of high-quality produce, and the prices are generally quite a bit better than the other grocery stores around here.
Sometimes, it's a hassle to bag your own groceries, but it's often better to do it myself. Plus, it's a small price to pay for saving as much as I do.
Plus, they are open 24 hours and a great place for late night shopping with no crowds.

Always low prices. They have the best business model, only accept debit card, to lower costs from avoiding credit card fees, and only supply the basic amenities, no wasted departments, or extra staff to bag groceries. I don't mind bagging my own groceries if it can keep costs low. I like Winco much more than Sams club or Costco. Keep it up Winco! $0 membership fee!

It was my first time there, and I love it! A little bit of a drive for me, but worth it to do weekly shopping! I will definitely make WinCo my most frequented store!

Great prices and selection. Meat quality has been better than at the large chain down the block. The produce quality is also better, and the bakery has amazing sourdough - regular, roasted garlic, and rosemary. I went 12/23 and it was crowded, but they had extra registers open so there was barely a wait in line. Great job!

I enjoy visiting here for the great selection of fresh meats and the large variety of bulk bins. I make all my own spice mixes. Such a perfect place to gather them.

Nice big store with a good variety of foods bigger than the one I shop at in Nampa, Idaho.

Pretty good... Lots of selections (including bulk candy, grains, and other things), everything we checked was about $0.20 cheaper than Walmart, and there's no membership fee. The only real difference is that you bag your own items (bags are provided). Only cash and debit/EBT cards are accepted. They do not accept credit cards and don't have tap to pay (so no Apple, Google, Samsung, etc. pay).

Most awesomest grocery store EVER!!!!! The bulk section? There should be one like this in every town in America. Awesome product, awesome prices, and awesome variety throughout the entire store. When is WinCo coming to Iowa?

This is a nice store, set up as a warehouse store with small portions available. Would be a great store to stock up on baking supplies.

Being the only grocery store open 24 hours now days, they deserve 10 stars. The only down side is they have very limited and random selections. By that is mean one day you'll find something, the next day they no longer carry it. But you can work around that most times, lastly they're the first grocery store to carry nectarines, 6 weeks before any other stores. For that it's all worth it to be honest.....
