I hadn’t been to Big 5 in a long time, and I saw a lot of items I liked for very decent prices.

This place isn’t as popular so they usually have the harder to find things available. Staff if helpful and friendly

They have everything we've needed for sports, camping, work boots even, it's a little small as far as room to get through the place, so wouldn't recommend a wheel chair or walker try to maneuver into it, sometimes a little pricey but if you watch for coupons (email) or clearance, sales etc they have great deals cause as one of the workers told me"everything eventually goes on clearance it just depends how long your willing to wait" so yes I recommend big 5

Service was excellent.. the store was busy but we still got help and we were able to find what we needed in a timely manner. Erik/Eric was very helpful and had excellent customer service. He was knowledgeable of the items in the store and very polite. Definitely going back to this store.

Big 5 really has a lot of stuff most of overlook. I am always greeted upon entering and employees are helpful. Look for their online coupons for the best deals. I just got a hammock for only $10 and other cool deals just in time for mothers and fathers day.

The guys who helped me were awesome. They became very invested in my preparation for a marathon and got me what I needed. They were very patient with my limited knowledge about running, and didn't take advantage of me. Super great people 👌👌

We had to drive to this location to pick up an item placed on hold and right when we walking in the door the employees knew exactly why we were there. They were well informed and happy to help.

Joe the store manager in store 00232 (and associates) did such an amazing job helping my husband, brother, friend and I get everything we needed for skiing and snowboarding! If they hadn't been so helpful we would have been freezing!!
His customer service skills were the best! We will be forever customers to big5 and especially the West valley location. We are from the basin but will always make this stop!

great experience, bought a treadmill. while we thought we were waiting for them to make sure they had it, I look over and there is the manger with it on a dolly. he helped my load it up while the wife paid. I have never purchased something so large and heavy, in such a fast and expedient manner, I was really surprised and elated. they were real nice too.

This store deserves a 5-star rating because the staff in the shoe department were so helpful in finding a hiking boot with the perfect fit (for my son, who has a wide and very thick foot. It took trying on 9 pair of boots to get it right and during this time the attendant was extremely polite and upbeat. Bravo to management for hiring people like this.
