The back counter has a lot of great (and cheap!) lunch options, but would also recommend ordering tamales in advance in bulk from here. The tamales are made pretty large and when ordered in bulk are incredibly cheap. Very happy this place exists so close to home.

Is wonderful! They have tamales, tacos, menudo, etc... all delicious! You can also find a lot of ingredients for your Mexican dishes and delicious snacks.

I've been shopping there since I first moved to the area from Virginia three years ago. Good people, very friendly atmosphere and good customer service. That's where I go for beef shanks for soup and ribs for barbecue :-) .

My favorite Mexican food mart! Am not near it anymore but it was always a good stop with good produce.

The veggies are always fresh! The milk is a little pricier, but I find it more important to support a local business over the Walgreens.

My favorite place for insanely great pork carnitas, salsa verde, and the best pico de gallo- anywhere! Super nice people, tasty food- what more do you need?

Love this little local market! It does help to have a basic understanding of the Spanish language. Everyone is friendly and helpful, including the customers.

Great little Mexican market in the middle of Highwood. Can't walk out of there without their homemade tamales or homemade salsa or guacamole
