This is a fantastic place. The workers on the candy side were very helpful and recommended selections base on our tastes. It was pretty busy, but they still were able to provide attentive service to all of the customers. They have a ton of retro and foreign candies and the fudge selection is pretty good for a place this size. They also provide samples of fudge. They sell most of the candy bulk by the pound. Its the biggest taffy selection Ive seen in decades.
On the Ice cream side they really nail that vintage soda fountain atmosphere. Honestly the decour in the whole store is very vintage.
The malt that I ordered was the best that I ever had in my life. So many people get the malt wrong, but this place nailed it.

What a wonderful candy store/ice cream shop. This was our first time visiting. The employees were very friendly and explained how everything works in selecting candy. There are plenty of chocolate candy: chocolate covered raisins, Oreo's, coffee beans, just to name a few. There are many nostalgic candies, salt water taffy, Jelly Belly jelly beans, truffles, homemade fudge, gummies and sour gummy candy. Now that I have been, I will be back!

The Candy Bank is awesome! I found this place by accident and glad I did. They have so many different kinds of candy, some I haven't seen since I was a kid. The fudge is great and the milkshakes are really good too! The staff was very helpful and nice.

Nice candy shop for the whole family! They make old fashioned malts and shakes. They also make their own fudge. Kiddos new fave place! Gotta make sure to limit the lil ones with just a few things bc it definitely adds up when you get to the register if not!! Even found an interesting jelly bean flavor for us adults! ;)

Update: came yesterday 6/21 to celebrate my birthday tradition with my good friend. It was her first time here and it is a spectacular place for an outing with your kids or if you are a kid at heart! Come check this place out if you have a serious sweet tooth! 💓🍭

This place is great. Every kind of candy you could think of. Old fashion candies you may remember from your childhood. Hand made treats as well. A nice sitting area to enjoy ice cream cones. The staff could not have been more helpful. And the owner personally makes the confections. Wonderful hidden gem.

*note masks are still required for entrance, regardless that state mandates been lifted. (just a note statement so u don't miss an opportunity. Not an opinion notice)

Met the owner at the job yrs ago. Finally decided to go. Was not dissapointed... Looks like a smaller scale vintage candy shop like in home alone from every kids dream.

Strange drink combos that all look dangerous yet appealing, ice cream, candy, fudge..... Go crazy and have your sugar rush.

Can't believe it's a conveniently located on the lakefront and never knew it existed

Rather expensive but it was a treat for the grandkids. That will be a once in a while event to spend that much money on candy. Overall it was good

Fantastic establishment right off of the St. Tammany Trailhead in Mandeville. This place is a walk back in time GEM! As soon as you walk in you are approached by a very nice staff member who gives you a detailed history on the establishment and a walk through, showing you all of the wonderful candies, Homemade Fudge, malts, shakes and original soda fountain ice cream and soda with whipped cream dream experience drink. There is chocolates of all kinds as well as old fashioned soda pop in the bottle. Lisa, the owner has a wonderful staff that enjoy what they do and makes sure that your experience in their “Bank” leaves you feeling great about returning as soon as possible to try everything they offer and to fulfill that sweet tooth craving!

I’m partial to The Candy Bank on SOCO in Austin so I was not expecting much when my kids wanted to go.

Wow.....I was surprised. My first test was to see if they had my favorite candy....Chuckles. They did. Second and final test was to see if it was easy to get my kids to leave.....it was not easy.

My kids loved it and the staff was very helpful.

Great place!!!

If you are in the area you really need to stop in. Lots of candy options including vintage candies. They also sell in house made fudge. The staff are extremely friendly and good with kids. They explain to familys how children choose and parents get the candy from the glass jars. They also have a small ice cream shop here.

What a wonderful place! A huge variety of novel and nostalgic candy. It's a small space, so be patient with your fellow candy lovers. When we were there, the place was pretty busy.Shout out to Justin, who was the only person handling the candy side. He made sure to greet everyone, answer questions, dispense fudge and truffles, and run the register. He made us feel so welcome!

Good morning. Our family went to your store yesterday early afternoon. There was a young woman and a young man working. They were phenomenal! Both were so attentive, great with our children and the man actually sang. I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our experience. A big shout out to BOTH employees!

This old bank has been given new life with the set up of this old fashioned soda and candy shop. The drinks are made right in front of you. The candy is sold by the pound. Fresh made fudge. The whole experience was delightful.

Dude I’m obsessed with this place. Every time I go in I only plan on staying there for 10 mins but then suddenly three hours go by??? It’s just that enchanting. It reminds me of Disney land. I’ve never been to Disney land but if I had that’s what it would remind me of. I love the candy bank. The fudge is to DIE for
