Wow! Had the shrimp/catfish platter with fried okra, hush puppies, and corn nibbles. Huge portions. Great tasting. Reasonably priced. We went on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and the parking lot was nearly full. Place was clean and help was polite.

Mandeville Seafood serves fresh, local seafood. They serve an array of cajun soups, fresh fish, classic New Orleans po-boys, and large seafood platters. They have a rating of **4.5 stars** on Yelp.
I tasted chicken gumbo and it was good. The thin sliced catfish is particularly good, The coleslaw was fresh and excellent. Non alcoholic drinks are self service, drink as much as you need.

Took our girls before a competition. There were 15 of us, and we waited maybe 15 minutes for a table. Lage menu with a variety of foods to satisfy the picky eaters and the foodies in our group.

We decided to give this local seafood restaurant a try and I’m so glad we did! When you go in there is a small store where you can buy various Cajun dishes and meats, they also have their own seasonings and a few small knickknacks to take back with you. My husband and I ordered two bowls of the gumbo (no oysters just shrimp and crab) and it was rather delicious. We then shared the shrimp plate with fries while the kiddos had shrimp and chicken tenders. Everything was very scrumptious. The restrooms were very clean and they had fun decor all over to look at while waiting for your food. You order before you sit to get your drinks and such. The tables have cute little names for them instead of numbers. Handicap accessible parking and a ramp to get inside. I highly recommend checking it out if you are just passing or even a local! Thanks for the awesome, friendly service! Can’t wait to come back for one of those giant po’boys!!

We were looking for a good place to get some Boiled Crawfish and Mandeville Seafood did not disappoint. Everything we had was super fresh and very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful with all the questions that we had. The bonus is you can go right next door and bring home some seafood to cook up yourself. You have to have the corn nuggets they are absolutely amazing, we have to figure out how to make these at home so that we can continue to enjoy them.

Took my 92 yr old dear friend, and she loved everything! I realize that ordering at the counter helps keep pricing down, but I would prefer a bit more ambiance and lower lighting. Surely, that wouldn't cost much extra to figure out. Otherwise, awesome!

First time here. The parking is horrible. Like we almost left it was so bad. Then it was confusing on ordering. The hostess asked how many we said two and waited for a table. We got a seat, but we had to hurry up and order at the window, which I thought was for take out. We got our own drinks and sat, I thought they didn't ask me how I wanted my food done..... It came out fried which I definitely did not want. BUT they where the best fried oysters I EVER had! It's been weeks and I am still thinking about them.

My dad brought me and my family here to eat and it was pretty good. Ordering before seated was difficult as my dad can’t stand up long and needed to sit but they didn’t have a menu to look at besides the one on the wall which none of us could read from a distance

The service is great, restaurant is very clean and the food was sooo good!

My husband and I ordered the Seafood Platter to share and it was definitely more than enough. It came with fried shrimp, fish, oysters, hush puppies, alligator bites (corn fritters), toast & fries. We topped it off with a warm serving of bread pudding.

We just moved to the area and are trying out all the restaurants for the first time. I'm in the top 20% of Google restaurant reviewers so trust the review.

We shared the catfish dinner with okra, corn nuggets, and hush puppies. It was plenty for 2 people imo. Also the boudin balls. All of the food was amazing! The boudin balls have a little kick and they're ginormous. The sauce for them is also great with an extra little kick.

The catfish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The tartar sauce was perfectly made (very similar to Captain D's which is our fave tartar sauce). The fried okra was perfectly cooked but I did request it to be crispy, so that may have helped. It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The corn nuggets were sweet crunchy and amazing. The high puppies were just good imo. They are the smaller dence Louisiana style hush puppies everyone seems to have vs the fluffier hush puppies that are better imo.

Service was super friendly and they have decent drink options as well. Enjoy!

You shouldn't be disappointed if you go here

Was spending time at Fontainebleau State Park and that put me in the mood for seafood so Mandeville Seafood Market seemed to fit the bill. This place, as well as the whole north side of the Lake, feels pretty off the beaten path for tourists like myself which is a good thing. Overall tasty food with huge portions at good prices. Especially the fried oysters, so good. My friend did a whole crawfish boil and was happy with it. My only complaint is the whole setup and the menu were a little confusing, seated by a hostess but ordering at the window. Also I didn't realize everything I ordered would come fried but I'd never complain about that, just make sure to ask what you're getting beforehand! I have to note, this is one of the cleanest restaurants I've seen in a long time, every inch of that building was spotless, which is definitely something I notice more these days. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Their crawfish run out fast. The crawfish is juicy but not too spicey. Their po'boy is one of the best my hubby highly recommends the shrimp po'boy.

Delicious shrimp salad! The shrimp were huge and very flavorful! Restaurant dining is closed due to covid, only take out available. The market is open however.

Update : best seafood restaurant on the Northshore period .

Casual Attire. Excellent service! Excellent food! Highly suggest getting there before 7:00 p.m. if you want to get number one boiled crabs. The shrimp po'boy dressed with amazing! I highly suggest trying the roast beef and ham po boy. And for the kids the chicken fingers and french fries were perfect! This place also offers takeout of live seafood. There's also a store that you can shop for frozen seafood crawfish pies oyster pies gumbo etc. Prices are very reasonable. Family friendly! they also serve glass bottle barks root beer for $0.99.

I had the shrimp poboy and the homemade roast beef poyboy, both were dressed and delicious! They had bottled Barq's Root in glass bottles that required a bar blade to open, which I haven't seen in years. Each poboy cost between 14 and 18 dollars. The bread was a little dry, but that is to be expected from poboys.
