Jerry's Fruit & Garden

The only grocery store where I shop for produce and other specialty items is JERRY'S, thanks to its great prices. I drive all the way from the city because the prices are so good. It's the only small business grocery store I've ever seen that can fend off big box stores and there's one directly across the street.

Highly recommended!

Prices have remained very stable here, even as inflation has caused increases elsewhere. Every other grocery store I've visited has raised their prices across the board, but Jerry's has managed to keep the increases minimal. It's still the best place to shop for groceries.

They recently expanded the front section of the store, making it much larger and increasing the variety of products and sales available. A great addition!

I moved to Morton Grove almost a year ago and decided to check this place out. It. Is. Amazing. Affordable fresh fruit and veggies. Also the best butcher in the area by far (for price point). All the meat is bought wholesale and packaged there. I also asked the butcher if I could get custom cuts and they said it would be no problem.

We love this place is cheaper than the stores in the city. 4 bags you will pay like.$50.00. I got 13 bags from Jerry's. Mix fruit and vegetables 3 package off chicken..pay $68.00.very good price....thank you Jerry's....

For the love of God, don't go on a weekend. Go on a weeknight around 7. They have anything you can think of for wonderful prices. The way food should cost. I highly recommend going. Their cashiers are nice.

I really love this place! Terrific produce market with far better prices than supermarkets. Often has great prices on meats and specially chicken. They also have a lot of Mexican food condiments and foods. Fresh vegetables, fruits, wherever what you want! Service is outstanding. If you can't find what you are looking for just ask. Definitely recommend this store to visit!

This is the best Grocery store for your dollar. I know after being born and raised in Chicago, that this is the best dollar value for groceries. Meat is cheaper than anywhere I've seen. Fruits and vegetables as well. I used to spend well over $150 anywhere I went for groceries. Till this day it's gone up slightly, but still under $100 for so much meat and vegetables.

One of the best international grocery store in north chicago suburbs. I love buying veggies, fruits, farmer cheese, nuts there - quality and prices are great!
For the best shopping experience it is better to visit in the morning or the evening after 7pm. Pretty busy during a day and on weekends.

I found this gem of a grocery store after my friend suggested me. I was blown away by the variety and the cheap prices. You will find all the different kinds of groceries be it Indian or any other grocery type.

I'm afraid to post a good review here because it's already overcrowded with some of the rudest people in Illinois. Not much, if any organic products and many of the items are nearing their expiration dates and not everything is cheaper than any other supermarket, even more expensive in some items. But there are plenty of deals on fruits and veggies that keep me coming back.

Jerry's is an interesting stop for us out of towners. From the variety of produce to the crowded aisles -- it is a big city experience.

Fantastic prices, we went late at night around 8 o’clock not crowded at all. Easy parking and easy to check out. I would never recommend this place if you go anywhere before 5 o’clock it’s packed with extremely rude people. Other than that go an hour or so before closing and you’ll be OK.

This is a melting pot where people of many cultures and ethnicities come together to get produce. You know it must be good when people from across the world can all find what they are looking for in a single destination.

The prices range from astonishing low to competitive at a minimum. They usually have one deal posted on their billboard that makes it worth a trip.

Just be warned there is usually a crowd during the day. It often ends up being people on top of people.

Pro tip: They are open until 11pm on Sunday and if you are open to late night shopping, you can avoid the crowds.

A reply to Mark Henry review as I have said for past 63 years everyone has his or her right to posted their review. However as someone who has work In retail environment. That large crowds of people are coming In and out at high rate. The first thing that law enforcement teach you. Is to check the people coming and going. Do I think a guy see a pretty lady and take a second look. Then 95% of men fall into this group. As far as comment about a women In Jerry's been talk about between the workers as someone who has been In this store on a regular basis for the for past 20 plus years I have found It hard to talk to the person next to me because of high number of shoppers In the store maybe Mark can read lips

This place gets crowded but there is a reason why. They have very low prices on many good products. For the most part most of their products are very well priced and they have a ton of merchandise. Overall worth stopping by and getting in some good deals.

Fresh vegetables, not crowding, prices are ok. Respectfully staff. Have to be more cleans and order around.

Best times to go would be early in the morning or late at night. I would never attempt to go on the weekends. They get crazy busy and parking lot can get messy. But its the only place we can get a cart full of food that lasts more than a week for 100$, so its definitely worth it. Their sales are amazing, and they have a large selection of meat.

This store is so affordable and has many items from different countries. The only thing is that it always gets crowded no matter what time of day! It is best to grab items along the way when going throughout the store. This store is my family's go-to! Super worth the drive from the city.
