ALDI

8/10 times the lines move quickly despite a few registers open. I've always known aldis is the place for a home on a budget, and I'm always shocked when I check out with 2 weeks worth of food and I've spent UNDER a $100. Granted I live alone but I'm younger so I make up for it. This store is clean, the staff have been friendly with me, usually a great experience.

Cheap prices. The cashiers and security have the patience of monks. It’s a coin flip as to whether or not someone will be making a scene every time I come here.

Well organized and clean store. Fast check out, reasonable prices. Many items comparable to Trader Joe's.

Such a lovely Aldi right near Rogers park in Edgewater. It is not huge but has everything you will need. The staff are very kind and helpful. Their prices generally are better than most grocery places. Read the ingredients. I highly recommend this place for those on a budget.

This was our neighborhood store and we went once a week when we lived in Edgewater. I would always go when the doors opened and they usually always had everything I needed! Such a great addition to Edgewater!

This Aldi is clean & usually better stocked than other locations.

The remodel is gorgeous. Went on their grand re-opening and got a free bag. They got rid of some stuff, but I feel like they just made space for some new stuff. It's really nice also having a store with parking in the city, something that can often be difficult to find. This place is really convenient and staff is usually friendly.

City Aldi’s are pretty awesome!

Great store. I wish they served alcohol, we have the local Edgewater snobs to thank for voting that down. Great prices and selection. Good quality food that's equal to or better than name brand. Staff is always friendly, helpful and you get to know them.

A good frozen mix of beef and seafood but didn't locate frozen Pink Salmon Fillet. Excellent pumpkin seed price for the 8oz and Sunflower seeds price and 16oz packaging. Love ❤ the fresh Spinach 8oz size and price point (they were delicious). Also love ❤ the Black Bean and Kidney Bean variety. Kudos for the Trail Mix variety. First time in over 30 years shopping at Aldi so the product availability and abundance and proximity to my abode (walking distance) made for a wonderful shopping experience. Will shop Aldi again.

I haven't been to Aldi's in 21 years, I like the changes, the food is a better quality, the store is more spacious, cleaner, inviting. They have items that I didn't have on my list, that I will go back and buy, the meat looks very good, it's cheaper than Walmart.

This is my neighborhood Aldi and I go there frequently. Always clean, fresh produce, short lines, well-stocked. After the remodeling, they eliminated the non-food weekly-special items, which I miss, but I understand it was necessary due to the space. I also wish they sold alcohol but it’s a very good Aldi. I’m glad it’s in my neighborhood.

The best place to go to save some money. Good choices of meat,
vegetables and fruits.

You can't beat the pricing and the quality, of food there is fantastic. The location is convenient if your in Edgewater and friendly staff and a good selection to make it to the number one grocery store that you stop at especially if you're trying to save some money. I'd recommend this over Whole Food the money that you save enough to sway my opinion

It's been a while since I've been in here and expected the same ol' store but was pleasantly surprised. I forgot about certain snack foods (prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella) and they now carry cafe bustello! While their selection has grown they still carry a lot of the same items they're known for. All at very good prices! Its definitely worth checking out and I'll be back for more goodies!

Just moved to this area and have always been an Aldi customer. This location is good at keeping their shelves stocked. The cashiers are friendly and quick.

Very clean, organized and everyone was helpful. I love the food that I just purchased. I just want more of a vegan selection, other than that they have a pretty good list of options.

Love it. We bought two fully loaded carts of groceries for under 170 dollars. Our freezer is full,our fridge is full,our cabinets are full, plus we have a full snap benefits card,and my snap benefits card has twenty dollars left.you damn sure ain't doing this at any other store.
