Best bourbon and rye whiskey selection in Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas. If you are looking for single barrel store picks you need to shop here. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He could not have been more helpful with picking out the best whiskeys.

Simple, classic (for some ppl old school) layout of a liquor store without the extra banners and advertisements. Everything is well organized and priced. Love the mini display areas. Not a place for kids for sure, and a friendly face behind the counter :) No American express, but other cards or cash is fine... If you enjoy simple alcohol or liquor shopping, must come here, there's plenty of parking outside! Enjoy !

Went for the rare bourbon event. Really wonderfully run. Super easy process and the prices were fair. If I’m in the area I’d stop by again!

I give this liquor store 5 plus stars! We are visiting from Houston, Texas the minute we walked in the gentleman greeted us and he right away asked if we needed help with anything he told us about the sales they had. We will definitely come back next time we visit. Great customer service.

They have an excellent selection of tequilas and scotch and whiskey in addition to the usual liquor store fare. Bottles you just cannot get elsewhere. You know that one whiskey you wanted to try? The one where they only made 500 bottles? The one aged in French charred wine barrels? Yeah..they probably sell it here. The manager was so VERY knowledgable? That my guy and I wound up talking to him for a good 20 minutes. I really wanted to stay and pick his brain a little more about tequila. But we just didnt have time. We will however be back. The drive time for me to get there from home? 30 minutes. Yet I WILL go there for our sipping tequilas and scotches.

I will always by my Christmas present there, they have the most unique gift sets from whiskeys to liquors to everything in between. Everyone that works there are very attentive to your needs as well as being extremely knowledgeable about the products you have. Thanks again. Di Webb

So far my favorite liquor store in the area. The beer selection ia great. The staff is friendly and can make helpful suggestions. The prices are good also. Overall a great place to stop for a six pack or bottle of wine. Did I mention they have a good ammount of wine? They do.

This liquor store has some of the best selection. But the reason I rated it 5 stars is the people were just so friendly here. Whatever you do to have such a gracious and courteous staff, keep it up!

Love the selection of whiskeys, scotches, and bourbon s. They had Newport cigarettes on sale. They also had my moms favorite beer.

The sales clerk was very helpful with picking out Irish whiskeys. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Knows his bourbans as well. Great place.

As a 35 year resident of Highland and the Meadows neighborhood I am what you want in a customer. I expect just simple, friendly helpful service. Not too much to ask for I thought. This store has the worst service employee in NW Indiana! The older gentleman with glasses who uses a cane is condescending, rude, pompous and actually just plain ignorant. I very rarely post aany comment about service but today I am going to spend part of my Saturday in order to make a point.

When your store first opened I thought it would be a great alternative to your competition across the street. A beautiful new building with lots of options and competitive prices.too bad your service is despicable.
My first encounter with the "employee," as I will refer to him was like warm. He seemed just to be looking to argue or disagree with whatever was said. He was very short and curt and refused to smile. We all know this type... if you say the sky is blue he will say it is white. Oh well.....

My second encounter was with an order of over $200 which I tried to use my debit card to pay but couldn't. It was my wife's card, I had my ID and my wife was in the car.same last names and not common at all.She didn't come in because she had surgery on her knee. I explained this too him and he barked, "that's the owners policy." I explained that my wife was in the car and he interrupted me and forcefully said "that's the policy. " I said thank you and left without my $200 order. By the way.......I went across the street and bought $200 worth of beer and wine. Since then I have refrained from coming to your store and only go to your competition.

The story doesnt end there. Last night after having dinner at Danny Zs on 45th Street with my son and wife my son asked if I would stop at the liquor store on the way home. The only reason I pulled into your store is 1.because I was heading south down Indianapolis Blvd
2.my son was gonna run in and I wouldn't have to deal with your "employee."
3. there was a good chance your store would be empty.... which seems to be the case whenever I drive by.

As you know we have had a lot of rain lately so I pulled up to the right of the door and let my son run in to avoid getting soaked. Within 30 seconds of waiting,here came the "employee." He opened the door waved his cane and said I couldn't park there. I rolled down my window and said I wasn't parking. He said I was blocking traffic and need to move. Traffic? To the right of your front door in an empty parking lot on a brainy night!!!! I refused to move and told him this is why I don't come to this store, just because of you. He barked back and I told him call the police if he wanted me to move. He said he sure would and stormed back in to the store. My son said he barked at him too and as he left the store he followed him to the door like he was a criminal. We drove off from there.

As a hotel executive for a luxury hotel brand I clearly understand levels of service. I also clearly understand when an individual is rude, ignorant and unfortunately very miserable.

By the way all of my friends in Highland have experienced the "employee." It is unfortunate for you that the "employee" has helped your competition gain a good share of your business.nobdy I know goes to your store.....ever....

Great selection and prices. They carry items made just for them that compete with national brands but are less expensive

The workers here know their stuff! Plus they were super helpful with the heavy load I had after shopping. Worth the drive from Illinois.

Very nice, big selection. Wines, beers, hard liquor and mixers. Hard ales also. Most are not in a cooler, but it didn't make a difference for us. Worker was nice.
