Our family wants to shout out Jennifer in the self checkout at this Fred Meyer store. One of the most friendly and polite people we have ever dealt with when shopping. She is someone you can tell has a passion for her job and loves to show love to everyone she can. Even when she is crazy busy we will see her working her best to help everyone. Every time we walk in the store my wife and I look for her so we can say hello. We are blessed to have her in our lives even though we just met her in Fred Meyer after we moved here from Texas.

Lucki was the absolute best at helping us check out! She made sure to remove all the security devices and got us an extra awesome coupon. This store has a real gem in that associate.

Great location, friendly staff and clean organized location. They also had a dump and water station for RVs at the end of the parking lot which makes it easy. They had everything we needed.

This time of the year is always so bad in there. They need more registers open.
I will say it is starting to calm down and getting easier to shop again. Love that part for sure.

I went in a little after they opened today (August 18th, 2022.) Jennifer was on the phone but that was all to be expected for a manager of such a great buisness. We did a bit of talking fixed a pocket watch and a normal watch and got work orders sent out in no time. Quite a nice place admire the sparkle of jemstones. 10/10 would go again. Did have to buy the battery at the store for one of the watches cause they were out but that was no fuss.

Great sushi!! They make it fresh!! Fresh produce is a great selection and if the quality isn't up to your liking you just let them know and they REPLACE IT!! I was amazed because literally bought collard greens and cooked them and cooked them and they NEVER softened up, they just stayed "woody" told produce man and he said get some more, satisfaction guaranteed! Also the meat department staff is very helpful with a beautiful selection. Great specials, prices, very good place to shop.

Shout out to the electronics manager Jeremy!!! Retail management over look employees like this far too often and with good reason! Jeremy has an incredible future in our world! He works hard and will find a career and succeed beyond his own expectations! Freddys would be lucky to promote and grow this guy! However, I believe he will find his future elsewhere for sure! It's not just a job for this guy and there's no power trip! It's just being, and living with respect, knowledge, and dignity! Very few people have this attribute! Look for this guy as he will make sure your taken care of!

We love Fred Meyer and we have been to so many of them. This on is - like the others - in a very good condition. The staff is super friendly, everything is tidy and clean. As eurpean tourists we were - again - allowed to go with more than five items in the changing rooms to try clothes on. Everything was fine.

High quality products at reasonable prices. Name brands, not China junk. U.S.A meats and produce that they can tell you where it came from, unlike some big stores. Hardware, sporting equipment, clothing, guns and ammo, household, pet, pharmaceutical, fine jewelry, departments just like the big box store. Senior and military discount days. Discount gas station. Best store in Alaska. What's not to like.

I’ve seldom had a bad experience in a FM store, this time my cashier went beyond polite, friendly and helpful. Marisol was accommodating and helped me save extra money with my rewards card.
I went into Freddie’s in Soldotna Ak and forgot my rewards card, she believed me and was just a joy! Very rare to find a kinder cashier anywhere on the Peninsula. Kudos to a great hire! Thank you Marisol 😊

It seems more like a Walmart in the lower 48 but even more RV friendly.

I'm visiting from Fairbanks and this store has put our Airport Way store to shame in customer service. Every department, Meat, Dairy, liquor, cashier, and produce someone asked me if I needed any help. And then they escorted me to item!! I was a FM employee for many yrs. So I tend to watch employees.
Again two thumbs up on excellent customer service.

Great store, it has pretty much everything you could need. It's a multi-department store, allowing for more than just grocery shopping. Whether you need food, electronics, clothes, toys, or furniture, you can go to Fred Meyer and find what you need.

5 star just because they cater to RV users without issue. Free dump, free water, free overnight. Bravo. Of course we were shoppers and instead of just dinner & breakfast, we also walked away with 70% off flip-flops, shorts, snow boots, etc. etc. Also appreciated the discounted price on produce/meat that was about to expire.

I was traveling in Soldotna and my daughter was turning 10. I went to the bakery asking for a cake and I just said, “Make me something that’s Alaska themed; feel free to be creative!” This is what I got! Amazing service here!
