I had a wonderful customer service experience shopping at the Danville Safeway on 12/13 around 10am. As it was the 1st day of the weekly ad sale for many of the items, some of the "clipped coupe" items were NOT reflected in the checkout system. Kathleen G. at the checkout counter took the time to manually calculate the price difference of the sale items, so I could enjoy the big savings from my purchase. Thank YOU Kathleen G. !!

Always great prices on their sale items especially $5 Friday great team in the deli also for picking up doordash. These are just some of the great deals I get honey habenero chicken da fried chicken and cereals

Okay, this might be the most beautiful Safeway I've ever been to.

This Safeway is great. The staff is so helpful and polite.

Newly remodeled! Very clean and love the wide aisles. Great new beer aisle.

They also have dry aged ribeye that's aged right at the store!! 👍.

I have never had such a great experience at a grocery store! It was amazing.

I went to produce first, and as I passed a woman restocking, she greeted me and asked if I needed any help. Smile and everything. Then I went to the meat dept. to see what they had. I was greeted immediately and I had the best service of any grocery store in my life. They were nice, accomadating, and friendly. The deli was buzzing and I was helped right away. Even the checker was nice. I have to say it made my entire day. I had a bunch of dr appts and everyone was so nice and helpful that I was smiling when I left.

I live closer to a different Safeway, but I will never go there again unless it's an emergency. This location has it all. Great produce, huge wine selection (they sometimes have tastings!!), and wonderful people. Check it out if you can, it is amazing.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff that have worked there for years! They learn your name and know your family! It’s clean and if they don’t Ah e what you want they will order it.

Clean, beautiful floral, fruits and vegetables displays when entering right side entrance. Found what I needed. Early shopping shelves are stocked. I was just going for milk, no buggy. but as usual I got few items more, salami and yogurt. They have the flavor I wanted Costco doesn't carry . Probably paid more but got flavor I wanted. Asked question about the Chinese food self service area and learned they start filling it at 1030-11am . So I'll come earlier for it now back open. Hope on going open.

Clean, rarely a line, shelves are well stocked. The bakery and deli are well done. Overall a very good experience.

I have always been happy with the consistency of a wide food variety, plenty of full shelves, ease of checkout, and good customer service. I like to get the sliced Boar's Head deli meats and even if they are busy they always go out of their way to make the wait shorter. They have an APP for your phone that also gives great product information as well as $5 bonuses and even free items. I like the gas reward program too. Once I had a $1 off each gallon on gas. You can also get fresh seafood at the seafood counter and the Floral dept. always had fresh flowers. OK so it's not a boutique grocery store but with the size of this store (which was expanded about 10 years ago) you are sure to find what you are looking for. OH, the wine dept is awesome too.

Clean store, not a lot of cashiers in the middle of the day when I was there, but self check out available. When I needed help, the assistant came right over quickly. Bathrooms are much cleaner than my "regular" store. Everything looks super tidy and well organized.

I absolutely adore this safeway such a beautiful atmosphere especially visiting from oakland carol is such a light and joy her smile makes things even better also bobby is awsome and customer service ready Nicole and allie are great to just to name a few of my favorite people there the shopping exsperience is always great and i love the savings 5 stars always

Obviously we frequent this Safeway for groceries but I highly recommend their bakery. They have THE best red velvet with cream cheese filling and frosting!
Also try out their floral department. Fresh flowers you can find ready to go or make arrangements yourself.

Decent Safeway, prices are okay, could be cheaper, and when I ordered curbside pickup, they didn't notify me they were out of milk. And they replaced the canned tomatoes to different brand but not milk. Still, thanks to the staff for working to keep us stocked up during this time.

The store was very clean. The staff was very nice and attentive. There's a lot of available (& free) parking.

Mr. Salvador Marquez is a true asset to Safeway and to Albertsons, its parent company.

Shopping at this store for years wasn't a pleasant experience. However, everything changed when Mr. Marquez was placed at this store. He treats his customers with dignity and respect. I wish he could be cloned. He is pleasant, helpful and professional. I hope his management takes care of him. Thanks Mr. Marquez for making us happy.

Very clean and neat store with great variety

Very pleasant experience here on October 28th 2018 for any Safeway higher ups checking! One of the stocking guys helped me find what I needed and was really nice and upbeat. Then at the checkout, a blonde lady named Jennifer was super quick and efficient while helping me with their new app and did it all with a big smile and warm demeanor.

Nicest Safeway ever!
