It was a really cool experience to spend time in a world class fly shop managed by women. This shop isn’t just a retail store, it’s truly an experience! Expert advice from expert lady anglers M.E. and Lizzy. I can’t wait to come back!

Went here 3 times in my stay in Jackson. Each time, i found helpful and knowledgeable staff. Their awareness and experience with several of the local streams and rivers put me on fish every time.

This shop is amazing but the people who work there are even more amazing. Jeff spent a great deal of time teaching me all about flies and helped me pick several which made for a great day of fishing. Christian took the time to fit me for waders and was also very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. These are just the nicest people going above and beyond. Every time I visit this shop, I leave with more inspiration to get out on the River!

Had the best experience at this Orvis. Being from WAY out of town we didn’t know where to fish and needed help on what flies to use. Clairey was super informative and helpful. Took time to tie them on and even gave us directions to a fishing spot on Snake River. And he caught one! Thank you for the guidance and super customer service. And we love the door greeter 🐶🥰

I’m from Alabama, never fished for trout before. Derek was super helpful getting me some flies and advice about fishing up here. I landed my first trout ever and have hooked a few large ones that unfortunately got off! Made my whole trip. EDIT: I went back to Orvis on my last day, spoke with Derek again and got some advice for Jackson Lake. Me and the wife caught 5 in a couple ours and several others broke my flies off!

We went in to get some flies and get some information on where to fish and such since we're visiting and they were all so nice and very helpful! Especially Lizzy, you could just tell she loves her job and knows her stuff.

Great shop with plenty of clothing options and fishing gear and tackle!

Been an Orvis customer forever but this was my first time at a physical Orvis location. I purchased a couple of items from this location to get home and realize I was somehow missing one item from the bag. Called the shop and they quickly determined it was accidentally not put into my shopping bag while checking out, despite being charged for it. I didn’t mind, mistakes happen, I was just happy the mystery was solved. The employees at this store went above and beyond to fix this issue! Overnighted the item to my residence and included a hand written note with a little free surprise inside. Excellent customer service that’s extremely hard to find nowadays! Can’t wait to hit this shop again when back in WY.

We stop in here at least twice every time we visit Jackson (almost every August). We've ALWAYS had good experiences here. Staff is helpful and friendly, not overbearing and not condescending. Just nice people loaded with helpful information. Appreciated the precautions taken for everyone's health at the height of the pandemic! It would be nice if they had a restroom available for customers, though.
Appreciate the fishing reports posted outside -- available 24 hours so you can plan ahead!
We're Orvis fans in general and those good experiences have been universal -- in multiple stores, online, etc.

Every customer appreciates good customer service. That's what I received from Elizabeth who was working the cash register. I wanted Mission sink tip lines for my new 3 weight, trout, spey rod which they did not stock. Elizabeth, with a smile, was happy to order them for me. They were shipped to the store and she found a way to waive the customary $10 shipping fee for me. When they arrived, after only three days, one of the sink tip lines was missing a holder so she went into the back room and handed me one, free of charge. Thank you Elizabeth!

I had been struggling to have a successful fishing trip, so I stopped in for some flies and advice. Derek and Lizzy helped me out tremendously. They showed me a few places to try, and the proper flies to throw. It resulted in a great day on the water. The shop is always ran extremely well, and everyone seems to be eager to help.

We attended their free fly fishing class. Learned a great deal. The instructors took their time and really tried to help everyone. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great experience at the Jackson Orvis store. Recently had some nice fly gear stolen and went in to buy some replacements. The customer service was phenomenal and everyone was helpful and kind. The fishing manager, Bill, took good care of us and ensured we had everything we needed to finish out the trip successfully! Thanks again for everything

The customer service was incredible and so friendly. Christian and Jeff were both so helpful and explained everything in such great detail. I’m from the east coast and normally fly fish Tenkara for brookies 12” and less, but needed something to go bigger in the Snake River and out west. They answered all my questions and went above and beyond. Don’t let these 2 go Orvis!

I love the Orvis store! Just stopped for a quick look and walked out with 3 new great looking shirts. Orvis products are great quality and I don't mind paying a little more for them because I know they will last.

Unbelievable customer service! I have a pretty new Clearwater 9' 5 wt rod (used 4 times) that snapped a middle section 4 days before a trip to Montana. David of the Charleston, SC store called Maggie (store manager) in Jackson looking for this section in hopes of getting me back in the game in just a couple of days. Not only did Maggie get the section I needed shipped to me before the trip, she was wonderful to talk to and returned calls quickly after I had left messages with other associates in the store. In a time of "not my problem" and "you'll get help when I want to", Maggie and David (Charleston, SC) went over and beyond to make sure I had what I needed just in time for my trip. Awesome.

Stopped in while on a birthday vacation trip and talked with Able and his crew. Very helpful and showed me a great package deal from their store. When I got back to Texas I called them up and ordered a landing net and the great deal on a fly rod set. They shipped it out and I had it in a few days. They know their stuff, I highly recommend them

Hands down the BEST shop for all my fly fishing needs! Orvis hooked me up with all the right gear, flies, and good looking shirts. I swear they are my lucky shirts! Their staff was super knowledgeable!! I think one of the ladies there is an entomologist or something because she knew exactly what was hatching on the river/gave me the perfect fly to catch a monster Yellowstone Cutty. I also got my whole family’s Xmas presents here! Dog collars and dog toys for my parent’s dog, candles and coffee table books for the ladies, and yeti coolers and Orvis shirts for the men. Will definitely be back! Thanks Orvis!!!

Visited store for a brief browse. We ended up finding something we liked. At checkout there was a technical error. The computer charged my card twice. Everything was handled very well, timely, and with alacrity. These guys are great!

I broke my Recon on my first day visiting my grandparents and I usually bring several rods with me, this time however I only brought the one. I called them up and asked what they could do and they said I could come in and they'd send off my rod or upgrade to the Helios 2 for a small price. Safe to say I upgraded and they even called and asked where I was and took all my info down to make the transaction effortless because I was going to be at the store 2 minutes before closing. Nothing compares to Orvis customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy their products and you will not be disappointed.
