What an experience!! This store makes you feel the love! Staff, owner, are very friendly and helpful. This is a must shop! Excellent quality shirts with great prices. You just can’t go wrong in this store!

I’ve always loved this place! Best place to shop and they have the best shirts, hats, etc. plus they have dogs walking around!

Very friendly staff and all the people that work there will go out of their way to find you the right shirt. I needed a certain color in large and asked one of the ladies and she went to the back and came out with exactly what I was looking for. The free beer was an awesome touch also.

Tons of selection to choose from, owners are in the building at working. DOGS! The dogs are treated amazing by staff and well taken care of. Customer service is second to none. Great atmosphere, great times, great prices!

Our new favorite store! Friendly owner and staff and the atmosphere is perfect! Dogs run around everywhere and we got margaritas while we shopped!

I love to come visit the shop dogs here. I love that they just wander about. It's not unusual to see a kid laying on the floor next to one. Great selection of t-shirts. I have a hard time leaving without one. I don't think it's happened yet. If you need some laughable political shirts and aren't a Democrat you will find a few to add to your wardrobe. It's a fun store and worth a visit.

I was at the store today with Wags and Whiskers foster pups today. The staff went above and beyond to help us with all of the furbabies from unloading our automobiles to cleaning poop. We were there until closing and it was the most fun I have ever had at an adoption event before. Huge Thank you to the owners and their staff! They are the BOMB!

We LOVE shades!!

I originally started shopping with them when they came to Franklin, TN (much needed btw) and HAD to come visit the Orange Beach location. I worked retail for many many years and am currently in the process of opening my own Southern Apparel store where we live, so with that being said I appreciate great customer service and last night that’s EXACTLY what we received.

Shades has a vibe that is unmatched. You’re greeted when you walk through the door not only by the people working there but the AWESOME retrievers running around… this store’s staple is their sunglasses and their dogs, if you don’t like dogs go elsewhere because you’re prob unwanted anyways.

I went in for a pair of Costas, the guy who’s name I wish I could remember (my fault, not his) helped me and my husband out while letting us know about the FREE DRINKS. Also.. this is NOT academy sports or bass pro, their pricing is probably gonna be a little higher because it’s a smaller business, that’s what happens when you support local. Help keep small towns small people.

They were extremely nice when checking us out, personable and friendly without being fake. As we were walking out we ran into the owner of the brand Southern Call Club (another name I forgot.. again, my fault because he definitely told me) and told us about the band which we also ended up buying a hat from. Super cool guy.

This is the south y’all. They have dogs, beer, country music and southern hospitality. I’d pay extra any day to make sure we keep them around. Thanks for the visit and I’ll be damn sure to come back to Orange Beach specifically to visit Shades.

Perfection! Between the dogs, cocktails and great merchandise....I wanted a job there😁. My family had to literally drag me out of the store. The employees are super helpful and friendly dly as well.

Absolutely Loved this store. The atmosphere with the dogs was the best. The owner and staff were so awesome! Bought some shirts and the Himalayan shot glasses are the bomb!!!!

Treated like family, the dogs were wonderful, the free shots were outstanding. We loved the salt glasses. Great way to take your margarita. So we bought two of the salt glasses. Even got a military discount.

Dogs all over, great selection of shirts, sunglasses and Trump stuff.. Dude working there even offered me a free shot and a beer! So cool I bought my daughter a $28 dollar T shirt.

Such a great spot, the dogs are fantastic (be sure to treat them a cheerio!) And all of the staff here are incredibly friendly. Be sure and get you a Himalayan salt shot glass while you're here!

Very kind and selfless we got a flat tire by the store and the manager of shades was very helpful willing to get wet in the rain to help change our tire. Also gave my sibling and daughter free balloons during the wait. I will most definitely will be coming to spend some money at this store just for the kindness of this man.

Owner and staff were super friendly. They gave my 2 year old a balloon and another one after she popped hers. They also had friendly dogs you could pet and were giving out beer.

Had an amazing experience this weekend when I went to The Wharf for the orange beach invasion car show and had a problem with my contacts in my eyes while walking around outside. When I stepped to the side to attempt to put my contact back in, that is when, I believe it was the owner or manager, approached me outside. He took me inside so I could use the bathroom to put back in my contacts and even offered me contact solution and a case to use to clean them. The generosity and hospitality shown was astounding.

I was in a rush when this happened, so I had to leave right away. However, I came back just because the amount of hospitality shown and spent a decent amount. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future as well.

Love this placd! Customer service was fantastic! Met the owner and his dogs. He creates a fun, comfortable atmosphere! My kids each picked out sunglasses and I bought an awesome hat!
