Super dope little shop the video game rescue told me to check out! Picked up a few goodies for my collection pretty excited!! The staff was cool the owner was really cool they had a good selection of things old to new!! Another shop added to my list of places to shop retro when I’m up here for business thanks guys!

10/10 Customer Service! I ordered a custom black and gold gameboy advance with mods. They found all the mods and put them all in. The screen arrived broken and they informed me and got a new one asap! I love it and have had people ask about it and how to get one! I will always recommend this shop over gamestop any day!

Gone Broke Gaming is the best retro game store in the world. Scott is a great guy and so are the rest. I love frequenting this store all the time. It makes me feel like I am at home. I just with they had a giant Hulk statue in the middle LOL. Try them out. It's really great!

Great little shop for most if not all gaming needs. Was able to pick up some wii stuff for my daughter. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They buy and sell most things related to gaming I believe. Worth the stop in if you or a family member like gaming. Support local.

These guys were great! Small shop in the Jax/ Orange Park area. They had a nice selection of games, and offered me a fair amount on my trade in. The vibes were good, and they were honest. Will definitely be back again!

I got multiple very good games from here like Mario maker for my Wii U

I HIGHLY recommend Gone Broke Gaming! I came in with a huge trade and unsure what I was going to get for 4 consoles and SEVERAL games and accessories. I traded for store credit and was able to get my 4 year old his first gaming console, games, and accessories for Christmas. I wish I got the gentleman's name who helped me but he was professional, friendly, and heard exactly what I wanted to do for my son. I will be returning for any type of business!

They seem to have a little bit of everything in this store, even very large figures sold in limited editions at reasonable prices! What a surprise. The owner is helpful, friendly, and low pressure. An unexpected jewel when shopping for games & systems of all ages. Stop by and check it out!

Great inventory of used games/figures/etc. The staff is friendly and the prices seem to be of good value. the store itself is a bit cramped and uncomfortable if there are multiple customers are in there at once. This business would benefit from a lager storefront because they have so many cool items to display.

The best game shop currently in Jacksonville. They have a lot of great games in stock at reasonable prices. It is not the largest store, but the space inside is utilized very efficiently to enable them to carry a lot of great retro games. Will definately be coming back soon to do some trade ins and purchases.

I held off on writing a review until I made several transactions with Gone Broke Gaming.

Their inventory is stacked with a wide array of game titles, guides, consoles, and memorabilia.

This is a VERY knowledgeable group of people who clearly have a passion for all things gaming related. They had an answer to all my questions (and then some).

They are also trustworthy. I had an issue with an item not working properly (it was 25+ years old after all) and they didn't give push back, they simply swapped it out for another.

I will be going back frequently knowing I'll be taken care of by good people.

Best place to shop for retro games and you can put stuff on layaway making expensive game purchases easier to manage.

Give me my Retro fix. They literally have a bit of everything packed in a small building. It's a shame I like in Tallahassee.

Great place to go if you're adding to your retro collection or even looking for a deal on newer games/consoles. I always have good conversations with the staff every time I'm in. Highly recommend.

Owner and staff are super friendly. I’ve come in time to time to trade in a lot of my rarer gems and they are super competitive and even take into account what online may have things listed for.

It’s so easy to support local businesses when they’re run like this (especially looking at the big chain alternative).

A great shop and just as great of an experience for anyone who has a history in gaming or a love for it (both new and old).

Saw some other negative reviews because of some factors that seem to be uncontrollable, but can genuinely say that the one time I had an issue, I worked with the owner (although I’m very confident any of the staff would’ve worked hard to resolve) and he saw the issue, looked at it from my viewpoint and worked hard to resolve it and succeeded!

I’m definitely a loyal patron here and encourage anyone who loves gaming to check out this shop: you may be surprised and even amazed at what you’ll find.
