Hen House Market

One stop shop now that they have beer. You can get fresh flowers and a Starbucks right when you first walk in. They have a large produce selection and deli right around the corner. A seating area if you want to eat your lunch right there. A large salad bar. The aisles are wide and clean. Fresh seafood is available. 4 aisles of frozen food to choose from. If I had to say anything negative my kids were disappointed when the lunchables section shrunk from 8 feet to 4. Usually, they have enough cashiers so the wait isn't bad.

It has been a long long time since I had been there but I used to go there on my lunch break and buy come Chinese chicken and I was in over land park for my granddaughters gymnastics program and I was early so I decided to see if it was still there it was and I got me some of that chicken (( it has been 24 years since I was there last. So I gave it 5 stars

Love this supermarket and chain in general but I've only ever been in this one. Traveled out here for training and stayed close by so I shopped here and cooked in my suite instead of eating out all the time. Great shopping, great prices. Nice clean layout. Cute name.

Like how people complain the store doesn't look good enough/isn't remodeled and then in turn complain it's expensive. Where do you think they get the money for that remodel of the place you aren't renting or buying but only passing through for a half hour once a week? Go on... I'll wait for your answer.

Always a great store to find everything you need. I love the salad bar, deli and fresh meat/seafood.

Not busy at all during afternoon. Very clean well stocked store everyone was very kind and helpful from getting a cart to helping me find specific things to helping checkout and to my car! Great store with very sweet helpful associates! Using safety protocols due to the virus felt safe and like I actually accomplished my list without going to multiple stores! Nothing like that big store we all know who that is! So nice to have someone actually care that I was finding what I needed and actually care about the consumer not just the corporate pocket! I'll definitely be shopping here alot more!

One of the few places in OP w/a salad bar (by the lb, $7.99 as of May 23'). Chinese takeout and Wing Bar are both really good too 👍

Decent selection, pretty well stocked under normal circumstances. Staff is very friendly throughout all departments. Never encountered an issue while shopping here!

Love this place! The cafe part of the store is where i frequent and the food is good! All this for $7!! I had enough for lunch and dinner!

Love to shop here. Been coming to this Hen House for over 40 years !!! Store is very clean and the service is second to none !!! I guess I should let the secret out can't be selfish another 40 years. But yes it's a great place to shop. Now some may say they are expensive but if you watch the sale prices ya can work the system in your favor. But that's on you !!! Thanks Hen House employee's for all you do !!! Don't change a thing it works !!!

The floral department is WONDERFUL! Brandi was able to help me with a "thank you" for the staff at my father's nursing home.

It's nice and clean. The people that work there are nice 95% of the time. The 5% of the time you see someone working there that isn't, you don't see them again for reasons unknown.
There's a decent selection and occasionally a good sale. I usually don't get meat here because of the price, but the produce tends to be better quality than other grocery stores.
I like their rotisserie chicken. Even the traditional flavor is the best in town- even better than other Hen Houses. It actually looks cooked (instead of all pale like other places). I make a special trip out of my way to come here fairly often.

Staff has always been friendly to me. I like getting my meat from this location. Nice cuts. I wish this store was closer to my home. Does have a Starbucks counter inside.

I go to this store for the fantastic fresh seafood selection. The produce section is always full and fresh. I love that they have a section of real hot sauce! Probably only because Grinder's is just a few blocks away but it's nice to find a wide selection at the grocery store. The layout of the store is easy and the staff are very helpful. I needed help with the self checkout last visit and I had help immediately!

This has been our regular grocery store for years. There's always a great selection of produce and it's very rare I can't find an item I need, even unusual ones. Get a Hen House card - there are items on sale only for card holders and the savings are amazing. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff as well. Love this store - you will too.

Great store and friendly staff. The meat and seafood section is one of the best in the area. Always fresh. Pricey for regular grocery so I almost exclusively go for their meats and the tasty focaccia breads.

Every time I walk in I always get greeted by at least one person along with a great big smile. I really enjoy the customer service provided and really like how the employees are always smiling and are personable. That is what keeps me choosing henhouse over other grocery stores.

We stopped in for a quick trip, but the employees were very friendly. There was a good selection, and from what I looked at prices were decent. Many of the sale prices required a rewards card, but it was a simple form to fill out.
