The Good Shop

Cute shop run by a woman who rescues horses. My friend had a wonderful conversation with the owner about barn animal rescue while she was there. The clothes are very nature-based and seem focused toward a hippie-esque demographic. A lot of flowy, patterned attire—I found pants that I really liked and are super comfortable. Prices are $50-$100 for a piece of clothing and they feel like good quality. There were several sales going on as well, and there is a small houseware selection in the front of the store. Always feels good to support a local business and had a great experience.

I absolutely love this store. Every time I have shopped there, the owner & staff have been so helpful & personable. I end up hanging around forever to chat. Always spend way too much money!! The clothes are spectacular for the more urban, artsy types. I am a “big” girl & her clothes flatter & hide what should be hidden. I happen to like to wear natural fibers. Her linen skirts, pants, clothes blouses, dresses can be thrown into the washer & dryer then come out looking great. Lovely handbags, jewelry, shoes, scarves & cool artifacts. The owner supports horses in need, so please, spend some of your hard earned cash at the Good Shop!

I LOVE this place. They have the best staff and the best clothes. It’s a win/win situation!!

This little shop is a treasure trove of the kinds of clothes I love - contemporary, comfortable, colorful, often funky - at very reasonable prices. The only downside is, it's just SO tempting. I have probably bought too many "must haves" with no place to go right now, but I'll be the best-dressed when we all can socialize and travel again!

Love this shop and its merchandise.The salespeople are so helpful. I go there at least once every time I visit WV and always find something fun.

I bought a stylish and comfortable, well priced linen tunic made in Italy at this store April 14. Very high quality clothes and Dansko shows. I'm going back for sure!

Great clothing. I just bought a beautiful flattering red/black coat which is styled differently, European look. I also purchased a unique sleeveless long black top. Love both pieces.

The Misses loves this place, they do have a nice bench outside for patient husbands : )

Beautiful clothing

This ladies clothing store has wonderful natural fiber items. The styles are varied and the selection is amazing. Jewelry, and other accessories are available. The quality is lovely, and the prices reflect the what you would expect to find. You do pay for the quality. Their sales make the pieces affordable when you consider you are building a quality wardrobe.
The lady there was very helpful. Great service and quality clothing.

She's never open when hours say they will be. She is a very strange argumenitive woman and her clothes are unique - however they're also very overpriced.

I have gone to this store annually for a few years. They have unique flax pieces. I have looked forward to shopping and have spent a lot of money there. I was shocked this time when I went to return two items with receipt on the same day of purchase. I was told that there are no returns. Only exchanges. No signs about final purchase. No warning before buying. Who does that? I informed the saleswoman that it is a federal law that one must disclose such a policy in writing before the customer makes a purchase. She theatrically scoffed at me, waved me off, and said that I should just sue her! Wow! Who talks to a customer like that? I informed the owner about what I said and about how her employee talked to me. The elderly owner justified it by saying that it was probably just a long day, but that that she would put up a sign. The employee repeatedly lied and denied her behavior to her boss. Buyer beware! Don't buy anything unless you are certain. Owner beware! Choose your employees more carefully.

I feel bad writing a poor review since I used to love this shop and visit quite frequently. Today I walked in and there was a lady who I have not seen before working, I could tell she was suspicious of me from the moment I entered. She came over and asked if I wanted to try anything on and I said I was just looking. I decided not to buy anything today, told her to have a nice day, left and crossed the street to another shop. I was in that shop for around ten minutes when the same lady quickly walked in and came up to me angrily. She demanded to see in my bag so I handed it to her and let her see what was in it. I told her I hadn’t stolen anything and all she said was “okay” and left. She didn’t even apologize once she realized she was wrong. I understand stores have to be wary of who could be a potential shop lifter, but she could have at least been polite toward me when she realized it was her mistake. It was extremely embarrassing to be confronted like that in a store full of people. I don’t know what she expected to get out of it, but she has sadly lost a costumer who previously loved shopping there. This is my first time ever writing a review, it was very humiliating, she was extremely rude and nearly made me cry.

Stopped several times few times in last month's but never open even tho website says they are open. Too bad cause I had lots of money n needed new wardrobe. I am Not from that town. They need to put changed bogus hours on the website not just tape a note wth changed hours on the door of the store. That way others that are not locals will know not to show up thru the week and waste their gas when they re closed. That's noway to run a business for real. Smh. It's not because of covid restrictions either because all the other stores beside it are all open daily.
