Enjoyed a date night meal at Lilah's. Started off with their nachos. Added pulled pork to them. All flavors were great and just the right amount of spice. Not too much at all. The main course was Lilah's Special Smashburger. Got this doubled. Dripping with flavor, perfectly cooked with that classic smashburger sear/crust. This was paired with sweet potato fries. I asked for apple butter to dip the sweet potato fries. So gooooood!! Wait staff are very friendly and the restaurant is dog friendly. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. Overall, it is a great little place along main street.

I had the best vegan chicken sandwich here and can't wait to go back again. Great drink selection and food for both vegan and non vegan. They are also pet friendly and allow pets both in and outside of the restaurant. Parking can be an issue as they are located downtown.

Hi, my name is Addie. I'm a nine-year-old black lab.
My mom and dad spend all day hiking with me on the Canal Trail and worked up a big hunger.
We went to Lilah for dinner.
I was happy tail happy to find out I was able to join them.
The staff gave me continuous loving attention while my parents enjoyed their delicious meal.
They had a harvest salad and tasty nachos. And Thursday happened to be Martini night.
The highlight for me was the owner gave me the foot-long steak bone off her delicious thick and juicy steak.
What a terrific, cozy, welcoming, community gathering place with fantastic food.

This place was very good. Our server was Jenha and she made great recommendations and did an excellent job taking care of us.

It's got a cool vibe on the inside with a very good menu. I got the Cubano (ask for the Chipotle mayo) and it was stellar. My wife got the lilah club and that sucker was massive. Sweet potatoes fries were also delicious. I got an expresso martini and it was on point.

Overall we cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

We were passing through town and stopped to enjoy a walk, such a beautiful place. Wanting to try some food we stopped at Lilah’s, and so glad we did! The service was wonderful, and the dog friendly area was great. Spike rested at my feet while we enjoyed our lunch. The fried green tomatoes were unique in the garnishment, we loved them! We split a French Dip sandwich that was also wonderful! We definitely made the right choice in stopping at Lilah’s!

Updated- took our dog. It was decent. Food is good, a little inconsistent when we've gone, but not bad. Nathen was great and friendly. Our pup enjoyed too.

Good food. Fun atmosphere.

A second stop for a "progressive dinner" through Shepherdstown brought us to the modern spot in town. A long bar as you come in, a smaller room to the right with tables and tables down the side an in the back of the room. The wait staff was a little young and seemed to have difficulty with some cocktails (had to explain the ingredients to the Negroni I ordered), but everything came out great. We shared a summer salad, had a couple of drinks, and enjoyed our visit.

Was very impressed with the overall experience. We had Cowboy breakfast and full English breakfast. Not cheap, but food was hot and tasty. There was a line at the door before they opened on a rainy Saturday. Got a vibe of hipster time at first, but it wasn't.

First of all, I want to thank the wonderful staff at Lilah’s for being so wonderful, hilarious, and for their hospitality. My partner and I stopped by for drinks and ended up staying for dinner and came back the next morning for brunch and I can’t wait to come back!! Ms. Connie is just THAT GIRL. Nathan was a wonderful server, Alex and Gena(sorry if I misspelled it!) we’re amazing as well! Best avocado toast I’ve ever had. The Expresso Martini is arguably the best I’ve ever had and could compete with some of the best in DC. You will have the best time at this beautiful establishment. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Small and cozy restaurant, awesome vibes. I went for an event dinner and the theme, and all was well put together. It's a bit pricey but worth it in most cases. Would go again! Also, they do have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

We're in town for the weekend. We were at a shop across the street and asked for a lunch recommendation. The young woman told us to try Lilah. We are so glad we did!!! Connie, the owner, was absolutely fabulous. Her red hair and radiant personality added something really special to this place. Her staff was all friendly and prompt. And I must say she had the most clean and well stocked bathrooms I've ever seen. She offered baby wipes, Clorox wipes, and even feminine hygiene products. There were some really delicious gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. We started with the deviled egg trio, having substituted smoked salmon for the crab on the seafood one. They were amazing. That seriously might be my favorite deviled egg ever (see photos). The bacon jam egg was good, too! For lunch we enjoyed their namesake burger (on a gf bun) and mushroom risotto with shrimp. Both amazing. Definitely recommend that you dine here whether you're just driving through or a local. Ten stars!!!!!

I had an excellent time here with friends while strolling through the shops in Shepherdstown. Excellent staff, very attentive, personable, and the owner Connie was amazing. I enjoyed the Sweet tea mint julep, blackberry mint julep, charcuterie board, and the fried green tomatoes. I will definitely be back to enjoy more of this place. They have great live music as well.

Went for Saturday brunch. Service was incredible. They had a huge drink selection, wife had a apple cider mimosa that she loved. Food was really good - get the churros and thank me later. Definitely would like to go back to try lunch and dinner

Finally made it to Lilah Restaurant in Shepherdstown to celebrate our anniversary and they did not disappoint. First I’d like to mention how absolutely sweet and helpful their staff is. The hostess and our waitress were great! We decided to order cocktails. I had their “Magnificent Margarita” and my boyfriend had the “Country Roads Honeysuckle”. They were both delicious and not lacking in the alcohol department😉 For an appetizer we ordered the deviled egg trio which included classic style, blt and crab versions. They were very good. For dinner I had the gnocchi which is made in house. One of the best gnocchi’s I’ve had! My boyfriend had the Strak frittes. It was very good but our only criticism would be the chimichurri on top of the meat could have been more flavorful but the dish was still very good! Definitely head their way if you find yourself in Sheperdstown!

This sweet little gem of a restaurant caught my eye this week while I was waiting for a coffee at Lost Dog. The design of the place is modern yet cozy, it feels like a place you can sit with your BFF for hours and chat, eat and pet precious doggos.
My husband and took advantage of the $5 Taco Tuesday Ritas - he got a plan jane Lilahs Magnificent with salt (he said it was great) I ordered the Caliente - with a sugar rime and a bit of apprehension on account of the Pepper Vodka in the ingredients list...it was FANTASTIC. Very well balanced, not burning spicy hot; just a beautiful peppery bouquet that danced gracefully with the sweet and sour.
For dins we selected:

Fried Green Tomatoes with Housemade Pimento - delicate, not fussy batter coating tangy & firm sliced green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese and blistered tomato. This dish packed a punch of flavor, and delivered on texture - hitting all those make ya slap yer sister notes like - crunchy, creamy, smooth, tangy, sweet, chewy. This dish is not overworked and stands magnificently on its own.

Lobster Bisque typically we don't order bisque unless we have solid Intel its good. But at only $7 a cup we went ahead with the risk. After our first bite I only had one thing to say....they need to raise the price. $7 is a steal. This is a true bisque - slow simmerred shell stock - herbs peeking through in beautiful buttery layers - tender sweet chunks of lobster & crawfish. This bisque got me yall, got me good.

My husband had the Cuban Sammy - which he didn't share...so I cant speak to that, but I feel like him not sharing with me is testimony enough.

I had the Masala flatbread, I took our servers advice and had them take it easy on the fig jam - she was right on that - even ordered light on the fig - there was plenty. The flatbread also had mozzarella and goat cheese, pears and arugula. Chewy, crunchy, bright and sweet this flatbread delivered on all the important things. I took half of it home to nom on while I write this review with a nightcap.

The owner came by our table during service and chatted with us briefly, you can see her love for this establishment & her clients whennshe speaks. I awkwardly asked her to take a selfie with me, I LOVE seeing owners in the trenches - making people happy by serving up bits of delicious.

If you find yourself in Shepherdstown, do yourself a favor and drop in on the little spot - you won't regret it.

This is a restaurant I frequently recommend to locals and/or out of towners because it is very welcoming, has a wide variety of food and drinks for everyone and overall offers up a fun environment. The music is always good and the service is even better.

Even with small hiccups that sometimes happen in the restaurant industry you can tell the staff truly cares, including the owner.

I will always encourage people to support small businesses and this one even more so after getting more insight on the management and staff. They function like a little family and what’s more comforting than that?

Check out Lilahs and help keep local businesses thriving.

We had a great experience here, the staff was very friendly and greeted us immediately when we first came in. Our waitress made sure to check up on us throughout our dinner even though it was slightly busy. There was a good variety of food on the menu and the shrimp salad I ordered tasted great and came out quick. You can tell it is a very clean establishment and I especially loved all the cute dog decor!
