Fleet Feet Charlotte - Myers Park

After wearing the same sneakers for 6 years and being in serious pain, a friend recommended that I visit a Fleet Feet because “they will take care of you” and let me tell you, Jamikka did just that. She didn’t judge me for being uneducated about foot health or what a properly fitted sneaker looks like. She brought out 6 different pairs of shoes and several insoles until we found the perfect fit and I left with tears of happiness. My feet have never felt so supported and comfortable in shoes. To say she changed my life might sound like an exaggeration, but as someone who is required to be on their feet for hours, this was a life changing experience. Highly recommend this location and I absolutely recommend letting Jamikka work her magic ☺

My wife and I have been here several times, entire staff is great! Natale and Rachel are awesome extremely knowledgeable, of the products they sell, because they are athletes that use them. Small store that offers a lot!

I bought some insoles from other location when traveling and cut them myself. Do not recommend!
I went to Myers park location and they were helpful and let me exchange and cut for me. I appreciate the above and beyond. Thank you Jameika.

I have been in multiple times and the staff, especially Nathan, have been helpful, friendly, and extra patient each time. They have brought out untold numbers of shoes for me to try and find the perfect fit. And if we couldn't find it, they special ordered the shoes for me.

They have a nice selection of serious road and trail shoes as well as tons of accessories. Whether you're new to running (like me) or a seasoned veteran, The Ultra Running Company is the place for all your running gear.

They also have weekly meetups for running and can hook you up with other runners and local race info.

I’ve never had a better experience at a running store or really just any store in my entire life. They were unapologetic about my preconceived notions on shoe sizing being wrong and I’m glad they were, my feet feel so much better. The employees have a massive amount of actual experience and it shows. The only problem is now I have to drive back to Charlotte the next time I want to get some new shoes lol. Great selection too.

The lady that helped me was so personable, gave me great advice, and really seemed to enjoy finding the right shoes for folks.

Gunner was super helpful. The 5 minutes we spent on the treadmill assessing my stride and what needs to improve will save me years of struggles and possibly thousands of dollars in medical remedies! Great store - a lot of options and most importantly they know their sh*t. ✌🏼

Natalie was fantastic today. Beginner runner looking for good shoes. Didn't know where to start. She put me on the treadmill and gave me LOTS of great advice and things to work on and do to improve. This is much more than a shoe store! Also left with the most comfortable shoe, that I can't wait to put miles on.

I got to work with Dave on my visit! Between bad knees and other foot problems, picking out a good pair of running shoes is usually really hard for me, but Dave made it seamless! He had great suggestions for the shoes, and getting to test-run them on the treadmill was very helpful. Dave was very knowledgeable, and even told me about local running programs they have. I had a great experience here, and will certainly be back for any future needs. Thank you!

So I never write reviews, but this business deserves one, so here it is; As soon as you walk in the staff Ultra Running treat you like an old friend. These guys are actual runners, who put miles into the products they sell and have a wealth of knowledge on the subject of running.
Ended up spending two hours in there learning everything I could from them.
Would highly recommend supporting this business.

I just bought my second pair of running shoes here because of the great experience I had with the first. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The experience here is much better than just going to a regular sports store for shoes. The staff knows running shoes, and how each works which saves valuable time. My brother also purchased shoes after working with the staff and commented "wow, that was easy."

Really loved buying shoes here! This is the first place I’ve gone where the person helping me (Natalie) had similar injuries to me and really understood what I was going through. They let you run on the treadmill to really get a feel for the shoe. Cannot recommend them enough!

My family and I were there this morning for new Hokas, and as usual we received the best service anyone could expect. Natalie, Amy, John, and the newer young guy, ( I wish I remembered his name and got the others correct) were all terrific. Nathan runs a great business, with staff tested products, by some of the best runners in the area.
