Dancer's Pointe

We drove from Solon to Dancer’s Pointe because our local dance store is closed on Mondays and I’m sure glad it happened that way because I absolutely love Dancer’s Pointe! The selection was lovely, the service was even better and most everything I purchased was off the clearance rack so I’d rate this lovely store a 10 if it were possible. We will definitely make the drive back for any/all our dancing needs 😊

This was the best place for pointe shoe fitting, especially for beginners. The owner here is really an expert. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to any ballet parent looking for quality accessories for a ballet student, and staff who will explain the differences and pros and cons.

I drove out 2 hours to get fitted here and it was so worth it. I had been to two previous places and they couldn’t properly fit me but Amy is a god send and found me an amazing pair and showed me how to sew my ribbons and elastics to make my shoe the perfect fit. I am so happy about the whole experience she really takes her time and has a great way of explaining things so you understand and don’t feel like she’s talking down to you. The store has an amazing family atmosphere and I will return for my future pointe shoes. 😁😁😁

The ladies were very professional and efficient, in spite of getting slammed with customers during my daughter's fitting. Great teamwork! The owner is thorough, conscientious, and incredibly knowledgeable. She empowered mydaughter and I both to be more confident about "elevating" her dance skills. Will be returning for future needs even though it's further away than our previous dance shoe supplier.

Amy is amazing. She is unbelievably knowledgeable about pointe shoes. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the dancer leaves with the proper shoe. She has offered advice and suggestions that nobody else has ever mentioned. We will gladly make the 45 minute drive to the store because of her.

Great selection, prices and staff. Our family went her yesterday to get our soon-to-be 2-year old's ballet clothes. To start, they were so polite on the floor and never put me down since we were on such a time crunch. When we arrived, the employee was friendly, polite and very helpful. She was great with our little girl. There prices are very comparable to other large department stores. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted for our daughter, including her ballet bag. Thanks to them, we got all we needed at a price we could handle and in one stop. We will definitely return as she grows! Thank you so much!

First time shopping in this store and I really enjoyed my experience. I will make the 25 min drive to the to pick up my daughter's dance shoes, it's worth the trip. The salesperson Izzy was very nice and helpful with us trying in different ahoe sizes. Excellent customer service.

The absolute best for pointe shoe fitting! When my daughter first went en pointe we were fitted elsewhere twice with shoes that were not right… lots of money down the drain and struggles/frustrations for a beginner. I decided to try somewhere new and we landed here with Amy. My daughter walked out absolutely in love with her shoes. When we were desperate and needed that exact shoe again during Covid when production had shut down - Amy helped me locate a store in Ohio that had her shoes in stock when she did not. When the production of the loved shoe changed and no longer worked correctly back we came to Amy to find the next great fit. Amy is very patient- explains everything to the dancer and the parent during and after the fitting too! She is willing to communicate via email and text to keep out of town customers like me happy.

We travel over two hours to bring our daughter to this store for all of her pointe shoes. There are closer dance stores but the staff at this store is amazing! They are willing to make appointments that fit our schedule, they are very knowledgeable, take their time, and are always very nice!

Amy is a fantastic fitter that draws upon her years of training and experience to find the perfect fit for the dancer. She tailors her services to the individual needs of each client and makes the experience fun and educational. I leave each appointment feeling a sense of ease that my daughter’s feet will be properly supported in her pointe shoes. I was referred to Amy by a friend, and I referred Amy to my niece. We will not go anywhere else for pointe shoes. It is completely worth our 50 minute drive to have a correct fit by a true professional. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars! ~ Michelle 🩰

They were so helpful in getting the right pointe shoes. My daughter learned a lot from the woman that does the fittings. They also had a very good variety of shoes and dancewear.

I really like this store because they cater to what you need for your specific studio. I see people in here all the time and they know exactly what that person needs. In addition, they always have the basics in stock when you need new tights, leotards, underwear, or shorts.
