As campers from Colorado, this was perfect for our cross country trip. Simply amazing. Clean, open, well kept. We loved it.

Very relaxing atmosphere, get ready to kick back and relax camping. Excellent shower facilities, nice to have a dish washing station at the front of the shower house. Just be sure you can back your RV into the many back in lots. Some of them are in a curved road making it extra challenging. There's a few lots that are pull thru but they get taken up quickly.

They have a really nice little canoe launch! Love to take my inflatable boat here and launch. Everything from the bridge west is no wake, so the experience is much nicer than at a lake where the power boats all try to run you down. We also checked out the beach part of the park today and it was impressive. They have a great beach, with nice restrooms, picnic tables, a play area, and a place to rinse off your feet and your belongings! Next time we go we might check out some of the trails. Highly recommend!

The campground was very nice for our stay. The sites have enough space to feel nice. The showers were nicely maintained.

Nice small camp ground, very nice staff. Will recommend to anyone.

Dog friendly. Pet friendly.

Other campers were super nice as well.

Lake was gorgeous but over fished. Shore could use some work to attract shore fishers and not just boaters.

Bathroom was clean. Maintenance was doing a good job.

I stayed here mid-August, arriving just after a spate of rainstorms. I found my reserved site had been spread with straw, so I wouldn't have to tromp around in the mud. This kind of stewardship is rather amazing in today's world and I would like to thank the park staff for their thoughtfulness. I was visiting friends and the nearby Cuyahoga Valley National Park and found the campground at West Branch to be the perfect place to begin and end my days. The sites are clean and well-tended, the bath houses are super clean with showers and LAUNDRY facilities, and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Add this to the beauty of this park and you have yourself a 5-star campground.

Nice park, camped in Group Camping A and it was really nice for the 3 of us with our 3 tents. Friendly staff at store. Firewood was green/damp but burned ok-ish.

Easily my favorite lake to take the boat out on. Beautiful lake everywhere you go on it. Wish i had gotten our more to fish but i still enjoyed my time. The park also features a nice campground and I like the boat ramps.

Beautiful park and campground! Exceptionally clean, the shower houses and bathrooms were beautiful, and the check in process was super easy. Wasn't able to visit the camp store, but I'm sure we will in the summer during peak season. Even if you live around the area it doesn't feel like you're right down the road from home. Can't wait to start coming here more!

Camp ground was well set up, very friendly lady at the desk, road conditions were good. Camp sites had a good amount of privacy with it looked like 1/3 really private 1/3 semi private, and the last 1/3 in semi communal (like for bigger groups, 2-4 campsites open to each other then plants). Bathrooms were decent, and coin op laundry too. The only thing of note was the "shower paths" to get to the showers probably needed more gravel or straw or something as they were mud pits. In a dryer week they might be better. But at least the one I used needed maintenance. I was impressed with the size of the land entertainment for children. There were kids stepping stools in the bathroom (at least women's side) so the kids could reach the sink. A decent sized well maintained jungle gym, sand pits, and volleyball area. Plus it looked like many individual nightly/daily activities during weekends

I have enjoyed countless hours and days in this peaceful and relaxing, beautiful and diverse Ohio State Park. Located near Ravenna, around the 2,650 acre Micheal J Kirwan Reservoir, West Branch has a lot to offer. Enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, picnicking, fishing, boating, Disc Golf and so much more. Bridle trails for the Equestrian campsites are separate from hiking, mountain biking and snowmobile trails. Hike or bike on the reservoir dam. Spend a few hours or a few days!

Always have an amazing time. There are so many areas of the lake that you can do different things. Swimming, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, fishing and hiking. I go for the fishing myself. Great places for many different species. Muskie are loaded here and make an battle to get in from the shore or boat. Swimming areas are sand and no sand. So your choice. Restrooms available and plenty of parking. Highly recommended...

Just about every camp site is surrounded by huge trees. The shower houses are clean and each shower is an individual room with a door. It would be easier to list the few camp sites that are not as nice, there is hardly a bad one.

Beautiful campground. Our site had water access and a secluded fire pit. Could not ask for a better weekend camping experience

We had a camping site on the lake. It was beautiful! The building of the showers/restrooms were new. The showers had private doors that locked. Everything was clean and we'll kept.
