I enjoy coming to this place to look around at parts for my RC car. But I've also had a good experience worth sharing. I broke part of my RC car that, even with diagrams from Traxxas's website, I could not figure out what part I needed. I brought my car into HobbyTown and showed someone at the counter what was broke. They brought out a book that had a diagram for my model, and figured out what part I needed. They even had it in stock and gave me a quick rundown of what I would need to do to install the new part. I very much appreciated that kind of customer service.

I was looking for replacement parts for my Honcho. They took me to the section I needed and helped me get the parts needed. Knowledgeable staff.

So many supplies for all kinds of crafting hobbies! I mainly buy the plastic model robots there, and they are all fairly priced. A bit more variety would be nice, as they have mostly gundam, but there is always something new!

Best hobby store in Kansas city area the owner and staff are very helpful I drive out of my way to shop here

Super helpful advice from knowledgeable staff!
I'm learning how to use an airbrush to paint models. One of the guys there is a Jedi master at airbrushing. He gives great technique advice and knows the paints like the back of his hand!

I can't say enough great things about this place. They are always friendly and help answer even the dumbest of questions. I have been a regular here for over 14 years now and would think to shop any where else for My RC parts and cars. They have a huge selection RC cars and trucks, planes, drones and models.

My husband found some Tamiya sanding blocks but not sanding sticks.

Stopped in today and what a difference from the other place I visited in the area recently. We were greeted when we walked in, asked a few times if we could be helped. Place was clean, organized and well stocked. Ended up buying a new kit. I know where I will go back from now on.

Friendly helpful people. Place appeared to be kept up well. Model car selection was a bit on thin side but I can only assume that it was because I was in there two days before Christmas. Prices on models also beat Walmarts pricing. Will definitely return

Went back Saturday June 5. Appears I was correct at the reason for the bit thin model selection. Saturday all the shelves were packed with a nice array of models.... including two I had really wanted to find

Great selection, service and price. The best thing about going to HobbyTown is that the guys here know everything about the RC hobbies. The info they provide has saved me big $$ from what I thought I knew about fixing my planes and cars

Really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Didn't have exactly what I was looking for but they were more than willing to take the time to help me find substitutes. Have yet to try out the substitutes, but I expect that it might exceed my expectations.

I was impressed. Prices were very reasonable. They had a great selection of model paints. Very big in the RC race cars. Staff was very helpful and didn't smother you. This is a great hobby shop, and I will be back.

Always friendly and willing to help. Shop caters to all facets of RC, and if they don't stock a particular item you're wanting, they're happy to special order it, and have always gotten it in within a week or so in my several experiences.

Just had dinner across the street from Hobby Town, so I dropped in.
A convo about a week+ ago, conjured up old memories of the inexpensive balsa airplane gliders we'd buy at local stores, and assemble the wing and elevators to the thin fuselage. After that, we'd fly them all day.

HobbyTown has a ton of kits and components for models of cars, planes, ships and rockets...and more. All levels of detail and capability.
Today, for a few dollars, I got one of my favorite old memories back.

Really reasonable prices! My 2 year old boy loves rockets and they have a good collection of model rockets we started off with a air rocket the thing shoots 150ft in the air. My boy loves it and we plan on working out way up to the bigger ones. Very helpful staff as well.

Great products and even better service! Had a minor issue with a transmitter I bought Saturday, took it back today and with just a few flips through menus, he had the issue resolved and had me on my way!
