Chinatown Market

This was my third visit to this supermarket, and I must admit to having had a big misunderstanding about it. This supermarket has a hidden aisle that people around me often find difficult to detect, located in the innermost row of the supermarket, which gives access to the inner space of the supermarket, and which is very well stocked with all the goods. You can see almost anything you want, including hot pot beef slices, seafood, vegetables, frozen seafood, dumplings, and more. Even if you can't find it, you can contact the front desk.

On my first two visits, I didn't find this aisle, and I was very confused as to why I could never find the food items mentioned in the comments section. But today I asked the front desk and I can say that I have discovered a new look at this supermarket. Apart from that, I must say that the services are all very friendly and the store has become neat and clean.

I have been shopping here for over 10 years. The customer service is always amazing and pleasant the staff makes my shopping experience feel like I'm family. Great place to shop

Great place to find Asian food and other condiments around this area. I’m surprised at the abundance of stuff they have! They also have a hidden area towards the back right of the store, you have to go down a hallway and there’s a ton of sauces, noodles, frozen goods, and drinks. There’s also a walk in cooler that’s closed, you have to open it yourself, and they have a ton of vegetables in there, it’s great! There’s a lot of boxes blocking the way sometimes, but it has everything you need there.

Great circulation of different goods and regular favorites 👍👍 I do grocery shopping here as well, but it's also just nice to stop by to get a thai tea and a snack :-)

I really like this Asian grocery as does my Chinese friend and my Thai friend. It is jam packed with the stuff you need for Asian cooking, ingredients as well as utensils and devices like rice cookers. For some reason it appears smaller on the outside than it seems on the inside.

Two things to note. Parking seems to be limited unless there's parking I don't know of. Also the aisles are narrow and a wheelchair or walker may be difficult to use inside.

There are small grocery carts as well as baskets available for holding items while shopping. The lighting can be a bit dim in some of the aisles.

The fresh produce can be a bit limited, this isn't an Asian farmer's market but it does seem to have a few unusual items such as lotus root in the large walkin cooler. However the selection of bottled, canned, frozen, and packaged goods is pretty astounding.

There are a number of types of soy sauce, dried mushrooms, or noodles or rice along with cans of red bean paste, canned seafood of various sorts, various sauces and sauce bases, and other canned goods such as bamboo shoots.There are several freezers of frozen Asian prepared foods and ingredients such as Dim Sum ready for steaming (I love mochi) or fish balls and other ingredients.

There are also packaged Asian snacks of various kinds both sweet and savory. I've purchased moon cake there as well as ready to eat mochi.

I've found the staff to be helpful, speaking both Mandarin and English. I'm not sure about other languages. They take Visa credit cards but I'm not sure if they take Amex cards. The check out area at the front of the store is a bit cramped but they usually have two cashiers.

Great selections, this is my go to market for Oriental drygoods.

Awesome place. Authentic Asian goods with changing stock. (could be a good or bad thing depending on what goods you like to get) This place is a little cramped and stuffy but you know it's authentic and you get great prices. One of the only Asian groceries in Savannah area. Overall good quality, you get what you pay for! However, some of the goods are imported so just make sure to look at expiration date. Most of the stock is perfectly fine though. would definitely come here again.

A Savannah staple for many years. The owners are super nice, kind and caring and the option for Asian products is fantastic. Be sure to find the back back room. That is where all the gems are waiting.

Great Asian market! Large variety of kitchen goods, pantry items, frozen foods, fresh veggies, and meats! I purchase most of my Japanese products and all my Chinese and Thai foods here.

This is the best Chinese market in Savannah. The tofu is really inexpensive we stock up for the month when we go here.
They have all the best produce to make your authentic Chinese dishes. They also sell woks, steamers etc.
you can get fresh, frozen, canned and dry goods.
The staff are really friendly and the prices are inexpensive.
Who doesn’t love Chinese.
Take a trip down and load up on all the items that are hard to find everywhere else.
There is even a small parking lot which is ideal. Bring your money I guarantee you won’t leave empty handed. They have everything you never knew you needed.

Here are many food choice and servers are very friendly! Convenient!

I love that store. I go there to shop for Jasmine tea. Also, they have a wide variety of Asian foods, including various teas and all of the ingredients that you need to prepare an excellent Asian style dish including Japanese, Chinese or other Asian ethnic cuisines.

Today I went here for the first time and I just want to say I was shocked on how much cool products that have in here. I like to dip into other cultures. The staff was very helpful & friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable

The cashier was very kind - helped me find a couple different items. Impressive array from spices, sauces, rice, and vegetables, to cookware and beautiful bowls. But be sure you don't miss the back room that has as much, if not more than the front!

Affordable and got everything you need

A bit cluttered, but it's part of the experience of shopping here. They have a wide selection of Asian products as one would expect.

I'm always excited to stop when we come into Savannah! Everyone is so helpful and we always leave with more than we came for!
