I've been going to this Pharmacy for nearly 10 years. Yes, the wait is sometimes a bit long, especially when they've got dozens of people picking up at the drive through and dozens more picking up at the inside register while also receiving dozens of new prescriptions on the phone/fax. Yes, you will sometimes wait several minutes when you call before someone will pick up, especially during peak times when all of the aforementioned people are picking up and sending in new prescriptions or in the middle of the night when they're busy as hell because they're one of only 2 pharmacies nearby open 24 hours.

What I have noticed over the nearly 10 years of filling my 9+ prescriptions per month there is, as long as I have reasonable expectations, they have yet to fail to meet them. As long as I greet them with the same concern I would give to any other human being, I am treated with respect and professionalism. I have never seen them sitting around doing nothing while a line of customers wait.

In the (literally) hundreds of times I have been inside this locations (seriously, often enough that most employees know my name), I have seen people who treat the staff with the same demeanor one would expect from a prison guard (demanding their service be when and how they expect). I have seen people who, after waiting 15 or so minutes to get their script, become borderline abusive and overtly rude. I have seen people who walk in with a chip already on their shoulder for one reason or another and exude rudeness from the beginning. I have even seen people yelling and screaming at the staff as if they believe it's ever appropriate to do so. Throughout this, I have yet to see them be rude to someone who wasn't already directly, and insultingly, rude to them. I have yet to see a single person in the staff treat a customer poorly. I have seen rushed transactions during peak times by an obviously stressed employee that, admittedly, could have been more friendly, but nothing overtly rude.

For my personal experience, I have been treated rudely only one single time by a person who didn't last long (they were new when it happened and gone the next month). Most of them know me by name and treat me exactly as I treat my own customers (as if they were a valuable component of my business). These guys even call me regularly if they notice one of my more important scripts have no more refills to see if I want them to go ahead and send in a refill request!

So, my review is basically this. If you expect them to be pleasant and treat them pleasantly, you will not be let down. If you expect them to treat you like royalty while treating them like a peasant, you need to prepare for disappointment. If you have reasonable expectations and are understanding about the occasional human (imperfect) moment, this is a wonderful pharmacy that treats its customers well and performs admirably in a tough business.

The whole crew at this pharmacy are great.The pharmacists are nothing short of amazing. Always willing to take the time to explain things. They go out of their way for my family making sure we know about all the medications. . Unbelievable multi tasking skills.

They always fill my prescription that I need that I forgot I was running low on, thank goodness for readyfill. The pharmacy even calls me to remind me if I hadn't picked up an essential medication for a while. The wait can be long however I noticed there is only one person in drive thru so they are multitasking doing drivethru and covid testing at the same time. If the line is long I go inside and it's a little bit quicker due to less people. They are always kind but they do seem stressed at times but that's not their fault. I try not to call and use the automated system because it does the same thing as speaking to a person. I can refill all my scripts in a quick way. I would 1000% recommend this pharmacy because they help me manage my 10 meds I take

I had a really great experience at this CVS tonight when I came in tonight. I was wanting to buy some Valentine's Day chocolates that we're on sale for buy one get one 50% off, Well one of the brands I grabbed wasn't ringing up sale price and the manager gave me the sale price anyways. Not to mention she was very helpful, when she originally approached me in the store asking if I needed a shopping cart as I was carrying more items then I intended on buying . I wish I got the manager's name who was working , because she truly made my night tonight . 💙

Always have deals the pharmacy staff is amazing and friendly and great service every time I go there

The staff is always the best part of my visit! They always seem to be very busy, but they never fail to be friendly and attentive to my needs. I also love the mile-long receipt of coupons

I have Been using this location for years, and the new pharmacy manager Sarah(Sara) is fantastic. She goes above and beyond to take care of her customers!

I love this company more than for 1 reason. My number 1 choice to shop. Also they always have Uber gift cards in stock.

I've been driving to wilmington to avoid the clayton cvs. These folks are great. Will conti ue to use them for all my meds.
