These guys are awesome. Really passionate about what they do. We bought a rock climber and they explained everything in detail. Then we broke it many times and every time weve brought it in they go out of their way to fix it and explain what happened. Highly recommended

My friend and I were bored on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to do something fun outside. We decided to check out hobby town just to look around for fun. They had a really cool crawler rc demo setup and Wes asked us if we wanted to try them out. We did and we were hooked immediately. Wes was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and sold us really cool remote control 1:24 scale micro crawlers. Weve since been back for upgrade parts and it's been a fun new hobby. I hope he sticks around and they keep stocking more and more upgrade parts for these sweet little rigs!

Wow is this place amazing. They had a ton of great paint and tools. They also had a course to try little rc cars on and my son loved it.

I went in with a Taigen tank that needed some links removed and retracked.They went out of their way to help me until it was repaired, Great people and great service,I will definitely be going back.

I love this place! I've bought several high quality r/c trucks here. They stock all the parts too, at prices I think are pretty cheap. Very friendly staff. Here's my 4x4 brushless slash with a Proline body lift and 4 new Proline 2.8" trenchers.

Had a great experience. Zach was super helpful in directing us to a remote control crawler that my son could actually control, since it didn't go to fast to figure out the controls. He is super excited and has driven it up and down the snow piles in the back yard.

Staff is great, and they have a huge selection.

I was heading up to our cabin for the weekend 7 hours from our primary home. Great weekend of fun ahead including RC cars, but I couldn't find a charger for one of them.

I stopped here 10 minutes before they closed. They didn't have quite what I needed so the fella behind the counter grabbed some parts and custom made me an adapter that worked! He stayed late to test and verify that it did what I needed. No extra charge for a custom made part. He was happy to come up with a solution!

If you’re into RC cars, trucks, and the like, this is actually worth the drive to Duluth. I’m not kidding. Very knowledgeable. If they don’t have what your looking for, you don’t need it. If you’re into Rc rock crawlers, the bonus is you have EPIC! Rock crawling on the north shore.

Going to start spending way too much time here haha, was there today for what felt like a long time ( on my end) my friend brought her bf and daughter and she loved it there. Lots of stocked shelves compared to what it used to be, all staff were very friendly ( my husband Zack) will be an employee next weekend he is beyond excited amd we will be sharing our friends for business. Be prepared to be busy haha he is going to sell sell sell! Keep up the awsome work!

Good selection in model trains, planes, cars, star trek, gundams, and others.

What they seem to specialize in is the RC hobby. Although stock in parts varies due to back orders from their suppliers. No fault of their own.

Staff is very knowledgeable and passionate in all products sold there.

I went here for gundam models. They have a decent selection and really great prices. They have a large selection of other models too. Awesome ones. They have a ton of r/c cars and parts all electric maybe one nitro model. Model train stuff as well. And some air brush supplies. Air compressors, Air brushes and paint. Great staff.

Great customer service and very knowledgeable staff! Bought a Traxxas RC car a week ago and it had a manufacturer default. The store in Hermantown was able to fix it on the spot.

Purchased an rc truck from the store, a couple of weeks later I had some problems with it. I took it back to the store and Dan was very helpful and knowledgeable, he helped resolve the issue which was a simply a loose pinion gear. Great store, good selection and good prices, definitely will be coming back!

Great place for model builders and more! They might be in a small building but they really make use of the space really well! Would recommend.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a ton ton of questions and every one was answered to the best it could be. Even resorted to looking up part number in a book because my nitro truck is discontinued.

I just recently purchased a X Maxx from Hobby Town and the servo went out of it. Instead of having to send the part to traxxas and wait for a new one. Dan took care of it right away, installing the new part and taking care of the warranty. With no hassel to me. Thanks again
