They had what I needed and I was able to find a few other things that saved me from having to stop somewhere else. And I got 11% back.

We always find items we had not planned to purchase here. Menards has unique sales of items you may only see once; watermelons, unique beach towels, snowshoes, snacks. You may only see these items once, but they are excellent buys. Store personal are generally very helpful. I waited over 30 minutes in another building supply store (H.D.) and ended up having to leave without buying anything. There are always store staff in blue to help at Menards.

Menards is my go to place for building supplies and hardware. Always friendly employees and good prices. During the COVID stuff make sure to bring a mask, they require them.

Beautiful and clean not to mention excellent food. I had the green curry with heat level of 2...it was fantastic! Pad Thai was amazing good!

Parking is easy. The store is well lit and clean. The carts are not the biggest but they too are clean and the wheels work, no squeaks or one crazy wheel wanting to do its own thing. The store is HUGE so it's sometimes difficult to find things but the staff are friendly and don't seem to mind helping. Yeah I've been given the wrong directions by a staff member when I've asked where something is but that's no big deal. As they have about 27 billion items I'm sure they don't know where everything is, so just ask another staff member when can't find the item. Once you get used to the layout you can find most things fairly quickly and all their stores seem to laid out pretty much the same. Check their website for item availability as well as ticking the box for the store you're shopping at, as not all items are available at all storess. Their prices seem pretty good and they always seem to have their 11% mail on rebate thing going on, so you'll get a receipt about 35 feet long. Overall Menards is a good place to shop.

We were in Duluth for a post-op appointment after surgery on my hand and arm. Since I'm not supposed to use my left hand for another 6-8 weeks, I've been spending a lot of time reading. I needed some new books and had a nice rebate to spend. We stopped into Menards because I remembered having seen books at a good price at the Menards in Bemidji and Virginia, MN. I was excited to find books I hadn't read by 2 of my favorite authors, James Patterson and John Grisham. I ended up buying 3 books. While there we found several things we needed. New bowls for our cats food and Bar Keepers Friend, the best cleaner for rusty water stains. The only place I've been able to find it is Menards. I've
also been looking for a new recliner. I found just what I was looking for at a price I can afford!! We left there happy we had stopped! Also,the employees were friendly and helpful as usual!

There's a young man that works the gate who's always so very helpful and makes my trip to hermantown menards easy safe and downright fun if I'm being honest. Always upbeat and ready with great customer service skills. John, I believe his name is. That little Shack he's confined to is boring I'm sure but he always makes light of it and brightens the day of many a patron. Even if the chair he's gotta sit in is old and stinks.

Family had great service when we were shopping for shower tiles. Staff was very knowledgeable. Store had everything we needed. Can't say the same about the stock or service at the competition. Won't waste our time at the competition again.

After checking a few other places for 6' galvanized wire fencing in rolls, I finally found what I was looking for here, and for cheaper than the other places I checked! Great service, too. Came on the busiest day, and still got personalized service.

We had a list and we had no problem finding everything because there were plenty of salespeople all over the store willing to help and knew just where we needed to find the item.

Menards always has the good home improvement stuff! Staff is knowledgeable, but with inflation hitting ... Well at least I'm still saving money over having someone else redo my floors.

This menards is a very good location and generally very helpful people in the different departments, most of which have been there for many many years, I have been doing business there for at least 25 years.
There are 2 issues that I get really tired of, one is there is woman that used to cashier lot but now I see her out on the floor quite a bit, Middle aged with really long hair.... She wears so much perfume it is just over powering, crazy overpowering and it Gives me a headache and it takes quite a bit to do that, I do not have wimpy senses but it is just a cloud that is around her... I really wish they would speak with her about wearing something so strong, And so much of it.
The 2nd thing is the hand dryers in the men's Room are absolutely worthless, the higher one sometimes doesn't even turn on and the blow is very feeble for the most part. The thing that is really really frustrating about that is they will only come on for maybe 2 or 3 seconds and then shut off right away and you have to find some magic place to activate it and it is not consistent and it does like I said will shut off in a matter of a couple seconds...Please pkease Install better hand dryers and As well inform Whoever cleans the bathrooms to wipe off the motion sensor for the sinks because they must get smeared and otherwise obscured and lots of times there is 1 or 2 sinks that will not turn on...... The lens for the motion detector needs to be wiped off and that should be done whenever the bathroom is cleaned so the sinks work properly.... And again same thing with the dryers they need new ones in there, ones that actually work and stay on long enough to dry your hands. Thank you, a loyal customer

Absolutely love Menards! It's the best home improvement store period. Menards has a far better selection of everything and better prices too. A person can truly make their home personalized and unique with the many different options here. I don't even bother to go to other home improvement stores anymore.

The staff at this location are a lot more professional and friendly than other locations I've been to you. That's not saying other locations aren't trying, but this one exceeds the expectation.

I prefer this one to the other local stories just because of that and the selection always seems to be a little bit better.

Can't praise Menards enough! I've been working on a very large project (for me) for the last 10 months, and they've simply been solid support I can count on. From curbside pickup, to their mask policy throughout this pandemic, to friendly and helpful service, they've been great.

Without the help of the Menards associates I would have never been able to find exactly what I needed. I was on crunch time, and Stacy was a big help with finding the perfect locking bedroom door knob. And Tim in the paint department was a huge help in finding and mixing the right paint for my needs.
