What a delight. So you enter these places with your guard up expecting to be swindled and swayed to some extent. We have all had that experience in a wireless store not knowing what we’re signing up for. That’s why I went with my mom to help her out.
I found the most helpful gentleman named Malik.
He was as straight forward as could be and could not care less what he sells you. He wants you to get what you want.
Helpful and patient throughout the entire process. Even over multiple days when we had to come back in due to a Verizon wireless system glitch to no fault of their own.
Props for being true salesman and not the slightest bit swindlers. Gentleman through and through.

So, I hated this store before we met Maleik, such a wonderful person, great customer service. Verizon needs more employees like him working in every store. Before becoming a good customer service person, you need to be a good human being, and that's what Maleik is. He gets us, he knows what we are going through, he gives us exactly what we need, he answers all our questions, and most of all he's very patient. Please keep him at this store, forever in your company. Unlike all the horrible customer service and racism we have experienced, he's the only good thing that happened. Thank you, Maleik, keep up the good work and the great person you are, not many people exist like you.

Update:

So, I wanted to make a few corrections because I do not want anyone to be misinformed or offended . I understand that the word RACISM is a very harsh word and should be used only in extreme situations, however I did experience racism during the process of trying to sign up with Verizon. I had to go back and forth to about 5 different Verizon stores to get the job done and the reason why I said I hated this store is mainly because of that, being the local Verizon store, they couldn’t get us signed up, and our questions weren’t answered properly, we were more confused than we were enlightened, we had to go to the best buy in Simi Valley to get it done and compared to the rest of the employees that helped us, Maleik is very knowledgeable in his work and that's the the reason why we wanted to share our experience. Anyways, I did not want to mention any person or store in particular when it comes to the racism part.

Please remember, every race has racists, not just white. There are good and bad people in every race and I have nothing against any race in particular. There are two types of racism, direct and indirect, just for the clarification.

Malik my sales agent was extremely friendly and helpful. Went in to trade in my old iPhone 8 for an iPhone 13. Experience couldn’t have gone smoother. Would definitely recommend this spot for easy and friendly service.

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience with this store. The manager - Mike - is the man. Had nothing but terrible experiences with the Simi Valley Town Center store (don't ever go there - they're sharks), and I was pretty much ready to just be done with Verizon entirely.

Mike (and the other guys as well) were very clear about pricing, helped me fix everything that had been messed up by the shark-people in Simi, and hooked me up with a plan and phones that were way more bang for my buck. Couldn't have been happier with the experience.

As the cherry on top/side note: they were extremely helpful with the other customers in the store as well. My situation was going to take an hour + to fix and there were a couple of people behind me in line that had quick questions or 5min fixes. Mike noticed this and took the initiative ask if I wouldn't mind letting him take care of them real quick so they don't have to sit around for an hour just for a quick fix. I was super impressed and I didn't mind at all. He helped both people inside of 10 minutes and everyone walked away happy. GREAT customer service.

I was so happy to find them open today. Michael helped me with my new phone purchase but also checked to see if there was a better plan that may cost me less per month. There was and he changed it over even while moving everything from my old phone to new. They are always helpful and especially today

I stopped in to activate an old phone that I had because my phone mysteriously disappeared. The sales rep was great trying to come up with a new sims card for me to help put my old phone back together. But then he made an offer of some older style remanufactured phones they had in stock. I said sure let's go that route instead. He was so good to me so helpful. I was so relieved because it was an extremely reasonable purchase. Thank you Verizon. Now you know why I have been a customer for 27 years with the same phone number.

Mickey was so pleasant to work with today. Leaving our old carrier was a nightmare, but Mickey helped us out along the way and was so generous and patient during the process. Would definitely give more stars if it was possible.

The staff is amazing. I brought my new phone in (that I bought online) to have a screen protector placed on it and the woman that helped me was knowledgeable and friendly. Would absolutely go back for any of my other phone-related needs.

Briana was at the Moorpark location-helping customers during COVID-19. She kept social distancing and wore a face mask to protect customers. Briana was extremely helpful on the phone prior to my arrival and continued to be patient with me, my uncooperative phone and other customers.
