Amazon Fresh

Now that is an experience - More cameras hanging from the ceiling than I have ever seen. Looks like a lot of tech to maintain and maybe go wrong. Anyways, the store was really nice and the employees were very pleasant and helpful. I'll be back.

Awesome experience. All you need to do is link your Amazon account and scan your left and right palm your first time. You can also do a qr code on your phone. After that just grab a bag which are in every isle and load it up. Once you're done, just scan your palm to exit! No wait times and Amazon knows exactly what you put in your bags or cart. The produce looks extremely fresh and has a great selection.

Best sushi!!! Pizza by the slice is pretty good too.
The shop and go feature is neat but it's more of a novelty. I always find a mistake on the receipt, but customer service is very responsive to fix the issues. I prefer to use the in-person checkout.

I had to make a return. They made my return easy. Then I decided to go shopping. I had not shopped at Amazon fresh before. I like it. I will definitely be back.

This is a state of the art store. With hundreds of cameras following you around as you shop. Thousands of items to choose from. Everything looks so fresh. A true experience of what the future of shopping might end up being like. We were cold during our shopping experience. I wasn't so much because I'm from Michigan but my cousin zipped quickly through the store she was freezing she said.

Always fun to walk in, load up the cart, and scan a code to walk out. Almost feels like getting groceries for free until you get home and the email receipt arrives. I've found the cameras to be remarkably accurate. Yes, there are cameras and I've heard people say they feel uncomfortable or even refuse to enter the store. Unless you walk around looking up, you really don't notice them and it's still hard for me to understand how they can determine when you pick something up to look at it (or even place it in your cart and decide to remove it) and replace it on the shelf. You won't be charged for it. Being Amazon affiliated, they carry many of the same items as Whole Foods.

Don't let the haters get you down - Amazon Fresh is the future of grocery shopping. Entry and payment via your palm, no checkout lines (not even self checkout), minimal employees, TV-Screen aisle indicators, and so much more. This is the crossover dream of a techie and an introvert.

So why do so many spit in the face of Peter at the gates of heaven? First of all, this is Moorpark. Less the land of techie millennials and more a gentrified park of Boomers (looking at you, Mammoth park and surrounding gated communities). Our only hope is that the Koch brothers and sisters continue ordering Amazon delivery, not realizing where it's delivered from.

Moving on, I'd like to address the criticism that Amazon Fresh is too expensive. This is simply untrue. If you're a Prime member, you get 10% off every product. And they regularly distribute an additional 20% coupon. "But Austin, that only addresses the mark-up! They sell whole foods, Everyday 365 bran!." It looks like Lucy got some splanin to do before these Boomers send me up in Gunsmoke.

Make like Gilligan and look for the sails. There is always clearance, huge sales, and mark downs at AZ Fresh. If you make like Lassie and rescue these deals, it'll be "Bang, zoom, straight to the moon!" I've consistently scored the cheapest quality wine here (Josh Cellars for $7), better deals than Vons on frozen food, and even $1 for a 64oz jar of pickles. Don't leave those deals to Beaver.

You may be asking: why are many walking away from the greatest thing to happen to Moorpark since we discovered Mammoth bones in 2005? It's the same reason so many rejected color TV and Fresh n' Easy. Some just aren't willing to embrace the future. They would rather fill up a septic tank than accept the city's sewer system. Who knows what the government is doing with your excrement? Are those same cameras watching me shop also in the restrooms watching me plop?

The answer is "no." No one wants to watch you plop.

Embrace the future. Don't let us become like the Mammoths.

I always find great deals, and everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful. They also have amazing pizza!

Excellent fast tech- assisted shopping. Shop and just walk out... your Amazon account is automatically charged. Very good quality produce, reasonable selection of other products.

Love this store! The employees are courteous and helpful. Alexa shows you pictures and gives you the exact location of whatever you need if you can't find an employee to help you. You never need to stand in line, either at a self-service counter or at a counter that has a cashier. The selection is limited but it's clean, well-organized, and also cheaper than most big chain stores. I plan to shop here often! 🙂

I like shipping Amazon Fresh. Fresh produce, clean store, good prices and parking convenience

It was very easy to shop. We went with app shopping so we did not have to use normal checkout. We were able to put everything directly in our bags, so that saved time too. It has the same things as any other grocery store, but it also has many of the same items you can get at Whole Foods. There were plenty of organic and none organic choices. I like the hot and cold food salad bar area. You can even get a hot pizza for $10. I will definitely be shopping here for now on.

It is so easy to buy groceries with my Amazon app in the store! My family loves it!

Sushi is cheaper than Whole Foods, but taste and quality are better. I had four rolls, and all were great. Everything was very fresh and perfect.

I used to work here and I'd have to say its a great place to work and shop. Depending on what ur looking for they have about everything you could need price is alright, not to expensive. The food from the kitchen is is great. The hot bar food selection changes so its hit or miss Depending on ur timing but always cooked fresh. My coworkers are some of the best people I've worked with.
