The Home Depot

I was visiting family in Shirley, NY for the holiday and we were expecting more family for a lunch gathering. My son makes an amazing grilled chicken recipe but realized he wasn't sure if he had enough gas for his BBQ. I drove to Home Depot five minutes away with his empty tank & practically parked inside the Garden Center - hoping out of my car while employees were surprised where I parked. All I said was "Please! We're having family visit for Christmas Eve, they specifically requested grilled chicken but our BBQ doesn't have enough gas!" Without a question, the cashier, whose booth was almost inside my car, jumped into action calling for urgent assistance with gas tanks. Before I could even close my car door, a young man was on his way with a full gas tank. I don't think my car was in the Garden Center more than 4 minutes and I was on my way back home with the gas. The employees were great - sweet, jumped (really jumped!) into action and had my car and I out of the Garden Center lickity split. They are super heros in my book! Home Depot is lucky to have those employees, and if all their employees are trained like this, your visit would be nothing short of amazing.

Been shopping there since they opened up usually have what you need seems like well stocked store very friendly cashier named Keanu was very helpful said he was new and really cared about his job hold on to this employee

I'm very satisfied with Home Depot the employees greeted me when i walked in and that is very important when you walk in you know you're going to get professional service if they greet you as soon as you walk in and ask you how your day is

I shop here all the time. The first thing I love about the store believe it or not, is the website and let me explain why. If you go on their website, they have a section called “in store” you click on that and then find the item you want and if it’s in the store near you, it will actually tell you what isle it’s in and what bay it’s at! Whats truly extraordinary to me is that no other company at least to the best of my knowledge offers this option. So you can order online like normal or if the store is close to you like it is to me because I live in Mastic Beach and in the store is in Shirley you could just go to the store, go right to the correct aisle and bay # find the item and your good. At the Shirley store they’re usually very good with helping people I recommend a gentleman named Bill. He seems to know everything about anything when it comes to Home Depot stuff. They need to promote him!

I always had bad experience in this store but right now I feel like they are working on their staff. Few employees help me one of them named Angel. She was great. Great customer service.

They definitely improved on staffing here, love that because i go here all the time and its my fav home depo store.

Being that i use to work here, i know how things are suppose to be like. Improvements have been made, the store is much cleaner. Finding things seem to be easier, organization of the isle and items got better.

Staff are known to be running away literally sometimes from customers to avoid work or helping them. This store however, i know a couple employees well that would walk and shout you down just to see if you need help and will help you thoroughly. Very good.

I was here pretty early in the morning so it was not crowded and it looked very clean. Isles were not to crowded with floor displays so it was easy to manage the cart down the Isles. The lady who helped me in pro self check out was very nice and helpful 👍. Overall I had a very good experience and would recommend this establishment.

Was here for Halloween decorations. Awesome selection and great display!

The staff here were very helpful. I’m a novice and the guys in lumber helped me get the proper materials for my project. Then I needed a piece of carpet and a real nice kid named Nick was patient and professional in cutting me a piece, re-measuring when I asked, and rolling it up nice. An overall great experience!

This Home Depot was in Shirley N.Y.. After going to the one in Bellport and they were out of stock on the item I needed, they sent me to Shirley. They were very pleasant and to me to the aisle I needed found my item for me and I was on my way. Home Depot has always been a pleasant experience for me. I have shopped there for years. You won't be disappointed!

Its the holiday season so there are extra employees to help you out & customer service is at a paramount. I was helped by a very knowledgeable young man that took me directly to everything I needed. Due to the holiday season, EVERYTHING was on sale. Best Home Depot experience ever. In and out in 10 minutes.

The ladies at Home Depot were very helpful! Each time I went there I would ask an associate for help most time it was a man..and each time they either could not find it or they would ask one of the female associates where to find it. I was looking for oil for a chain saw the male associate took over 5 minutes to look for it on the shelf a female associate was nearby he asked her to help me find my product . He left she went straight to it and it was just what I needed..this took her 10 seconds. This happened twice..so if you're ever in Home Depot search out the female associates. Mire efficient and well informed.

I love my home Depot I go there and I am fixing up my house I just bought the house one of my favorite people is Al he is always helpful he is an older gentleman and I see him work twice as hard as other people he even helped me load lumber he knows where everything is in the store I just bought a house and they help me get a home Depot card I am very happy happy

Do you have everything that you need for the house and anything that you need if the house gets messed up to make it simple they got what you need and the prices are good I've never been a Lowe's person because I've always been close to Home Depot which has great customer service and have always been good to me I've had no reason to go anywhere else

I am going to do some sanding in the living room to prepare for painting. I visited the store to buy what I needed. I was helped by an associate named Ron who went out of his way to get me what I needed and show me how to do it properly. We need more Ron's when we're shopping to DYI.

I always find whatever I need here. There are always staff members who not only direct me to items but also make suggestions.
