Hello, my name is Tiernan Killmade. My father and I came into Home Depot Ellisville today to buy about 800 dollars of lumber. My father, Tom, has been working in customer service for over 45 years, and currently owns 2 businesses of his own. Similarly, I have been working as his assistant within his businesses since a very young age. We recently started the large project- making a new chicken coop from scratch. I am new to this kind of craftsmanship, so i needed a lot of help. Luckily, i asked a man named Erik for help. He quickly obliged, and helped me to figure out the exact amount of lumber i needed, the type of lumber i needed, where that lumber could be found, and how that lumber should be cut to fit my measurements. Not only was he incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, he helped me to be frugal and not waste product or money. given the bulk i was purchasing in, this was greatly appreciated. However, Erik’s shift was ending so he passed me off to Kyle who works in lumber. Kyle proceeded to work with me and help me for over two hours all while being incredible patient and kind with me. He helped me correct many beginner mistakes i was making, saving me an untold amount of money and time. Of all the customer service I have seen in my years working in retail these two fine gentlemen are some of best customer service representatives i have ever worked with. They were patient and knowledgeable and helped a beginner like me get what i needed while saving me time and money. Both my father and I had an excellent experience in the store, especially with these two staff members. Because of this experience, we will absolutely be coming back to purchase more product for future projects we have planned. Thank you so much, and my absolute highest regards to these two workers.

Very helpful staff.
Gavin, John, and Dan helped me find the ONLY power tool unit on clearance in my area, and the ONLY remaining battery for an in store tool promotion.
They did a lot of legwork finding the units in store, and really came through for me.

Spent time with Eric in the garden center. He was so helpful in finding the right trees and plants for my yard. I will be looking for him the next time I visit the garden center. Excellent associate. Thanks Eric.

Home Depot has a l9t of very hard work people, and I always get greeted with a smile.

Great place to shop, also they have some nice 8 x 10 rugs as well.

Clean, good covid procedures, had want I was looking for at a fair price. Update: there was plenty of employees walking around and I had to ask where something was, no one bothered to stop and ask if I needed help. The only, real polite person was the cashier! Selection of in stock ceiling fans and accessories was not the best. Several years ago it seemed like they had a lot more too choose from.

I went to the Home Depot near my house and asked a person at customer service where I could find the item I needed. The person looked it up and said they were out but also told me that another store had it and where the store was located. I proceeded to go there and a person at that customer service took me right to the product. The staff at both stores were friendly and helpful.

This is by far my favorite Home Depot. Everyone goes above and beyond to help you find what you need. Store is arranged in a way that is easy to navigate. Tool rental always has a truck, can or whatever I need that day. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent service, like I generally get at Home Depot! But, this trip was above and beyond excellent. I knew what I was looking for but not what it is called. After playing a game of charades with the associate, she was able to interpet precisely what I needed and quickly find it! GREAT SERVICE!

All of my necessary home improvement and remodeling shopping is done at this Home Depot store. I even receive a military veteran discount on store purchases. The Home Depot staff demonstrates excellent teamwork and courtesy addressing any concerns I might have. Five star customer service! Thank you!

One stop need. Extremely helpful staff. Awesome prices and products. Home depot has great prices. I compared them to Lowe's on prices and they beat them on everything I was comparing them too. I love home depot lol. I'm like a kid in a candy shop!

The people at Home Depot are always so helpful. They smile at you and make you feel comfortable asking questions. Another thing I like is that they make sure you know all of the options. They don't just try the hard sell. The employees are knowledgeable about the products they sell. If they don't know the answer they bend over backwards to find the answer. Very accommodating.

They were having issues with the checkout machines. Jacob came over and helped us process our purchase. Such a helpful employee!

Today I thought I forgot my wallet after I had put a holiday plant in my car. It was kinda bulky and I wanted to ask if I could just run home with the plant and get my wallet. As I went back to the car to look one more time I was excited to find my wallet! When I went in to pay the manger said the plant was on him since I was so honest. He said that many people just steal the garden items and he was thankful I was so honest I just wanted to thank Home Depot for keeping the spirit of Christmas alive and well. P.S. I paid it forward and paid for the person behind me. One kind act generates another. Hope it keeps going. Thank you so much!!!

We have always had excellent service with friendly, knowledgeable help at the Ellisville Home Depot. Even after we moved from that area to another, we still make the longer drive because the employees at this store really shine. I wanted to write a note to the store manager to especially recommend a young man named Austin, who went out of his way to help us. In this day of terrible customer service, where the most you can hope for is mediocrity, the Ellisville HD employees are exceptional. I hope they see this and know that their friendly, helpful service is very much appreciated.

Had a great experience at the pro desk. I just bought a new home and there are several home improvement things on my To Do List. Gary was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me get exactly what I needed during that visit. I will be going back and I will be asking for Gary!

The staff was super helpful and informative. I knew nothing about the products I was buying and the staff explained the uses of an impact drill and how to add gas to a chainsaw properly since my life was impacted by hurricane Irma. Thank you John in the chainsaw Dept. And I didn't notice the name of the tool employee, but Thank you as well.

We went to the kids craft event today with our grand kids. We had a great time! The craft was well organized with good, clear instructions. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.

I am working on my basement walls doing ship lap and I couldn’t be more happy with my experience with the lumber expert Rick Martin. He guided me to the best materials that worked for my project and went out of his way to help. Will definitely be coming back for future projects!
