Korean Smile Food Market

Large parking lot, very organized items, delicious freshly made rice cakes, but no alcohol. It's not very close to where I live, but it's a place I often visit because I can get fresh and excellent vegetables, various frozen foods and sauces.

Nice little mom and pop Korean market that safied my craving for Japchae and Bulgogi. I recently moved from Los Angeles where we have lots of Korean markets so it was a pleasant surprise to find a Korean market up here in Northern California.

All the needed Korean ingredients are there and fresh tasty fruits and vegetable are always available. Just perfect place for those seeking Korean stuffs for good food prepration...

This was my first time shopping at this store. They have tons of item. Some of the aisles are cramped. The Kimchi and noodle bowls that I bought were delicious and the price was less than I expected.

I like coming here because it's often not busy. The employees are nice, and their store has a wide variety of different Asian foods. They have frozen, raw, already cooked and ready for you to eat as well as a veggie isle. Really cool and fun place to go. I recommend checking it out. :)

Small Korean market, some unique Handmade side dishes, organic honeys, instant noodles, korean coffee, tea and drinks. They have a food court with Korean/Chinese food, stir fried Jambong, was delicious, they give big portion, worth the price!

First time here, love it. Olivia was very helpful. Well organized and very clean. Great experience and everything is labelled. I can't wait to shop here again.

This is a small grocery store filled with wonderful Asian food at a good price!

This is the best Korean grocery store in Sacramento. I was soooo looking for a decent Korean grocery store. They are not decent atmosphere but a lot of selection with decent price. I always buy rice pops, Kimbab $3, rice cakes($5-6 depends on what kind of rice cake) and bunch of grocery. If you need big spring onions, you have to check this store. They have it as $2 for reallly big one!

My favorite Korean market! Better than the ones in Santa Clara, more like shopping in South Korea. Locally made jangs, great selection of jeotgal. Very nice produce. A great place for the serious Korean cook or the novice. Also Korean vegetable seeds!

5 stars to support local business. Always friendly staff when i visit here. Been coming here for years since moving to Sacramento over 10 years ago. Koreans, non koreans and korean food enthusiasts alike all venture here for freshly prepared hot food, banchan, kimchi, and dduk, and of course korean groceries. From frozen and refrigerated goods, to shelf stable and fresh produce, its a one stop shop for all your korean food needs.

This place is awesome. Huge selection of Korean goods and nice produce including melons and peaches out front. The variety of Korean goods here seems unmatched in the Sacramento area compared to anywhere else I've found. The store is also more compact and efficiently laid out, making it a lot easier to shop at compared to big supermarkets.

They do accept EBT as well.

Small store that has many items. Also premade items that are made fresh. I had chopchae today, was very good . They also have a housewares store right next door, that has many items to chose from . Prices seem to be pretry good too. Thos market was around many years before thw big asian markets opened. Easy freeway access. Pretty nice produce section for such a small store.

Fresh Jokbal on Saturday is Epic! (but this place doesn't sell Soju 😅)

This is it for Korean groceries. I think they are fresher than KP Marketplace as they are more narrowly focused on Korean goods rather than pan Asian. The banchan are tasty as well as the kim baby rolls. Fruits are fresh and there is an expansive selection Korean veggies. They have a satellite nearby on Folsom Boulevard that sells hot dishes as well. This place has stood the test of time.

This place had the one thing I was looking for, shrimp chips. And they are only 99 cents! Also, I have never seen so many types of rice grains ever. I think they have every kind of rice that exists. They have a lot in their store, I don't read the language all the packaging has, but they have so many versions of products, I think if I look hard enough, I could become part of the display. The one thing I did notice, despite all the products crammed into this tiny space, they take the time to mop the floors. Their floors are impeccable. They also have a lot of frozen seafood. And lots of greens that I didn't recognize. It was like you walk into the store, and you think you reached the back, but wait! There's more!
