Love coming here! I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while now. So here it is.
Moving into the area when the pandemic hit it, made this store a very convenient , safe place to stop while taking on a few projects around the house. Nothing against the big box stores but Brinkmanns just seems to have most of the stuff I need plus the little things you don’t always find at those other places. Again being that it’s so close it saves on time with the travel. Especially when it’s getting late and you’re in the middle of something.
I’m always greeted and helped with a smile by Michelle, Allie, Kelly and the rest of the staff. Whether it’s a tool, something for around the house, something for the car, or a specific nut or bolt that fell off of something they know. It’s also nice to be able to find some one who can actually help while offering up small sincere conversation.
The paint staff is great as well. Super knowledgeable as I’ve tackled many projects around the home requiring all different types of stains, paints, finishes etc. making the project easier to tackle with confidence

This store is very convenient for the north shore area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Such a better experience then going to Home Depot. They have a great hardware selection and also carry great brand name hand tools and power tools. Ali is a great example of the staff possessing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lend a hand, offer advice, or just help you find what your looking for. I will always visit this store first before going anywhere else!

Greatest Experience with Ali today. Exactly why I like using my local town True Value over the hardware zoo's. No hunting. I was Taken through every department needed, personally, and each item was fully explained each. Her main focus was finding me the best fixes at the lowest price.

Big net savings over the zoo's when taking into consideration the lack of hassle, time and gas.

Went into brinkmann’s hardware to buy grass seed, as soon as I entered I was greeted by the girls working at the cash registers. I told them what I was looking for and they knew the aisle and how far down the aisle to go!!! When I still couldn’t find the size I was looking for one of them came out and tried to help me find it. They appeared to be out of the size bag I was looking for but she asked me to wait while she checked the back. She came out with a damaged bag she said they couldn’t sell because it was damaged and gave me an excellent discount!! Every time I go into the miller place store the staff is knowledgeable and more than happy to help you find whatever you need!!!! SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE BIG BOX STORES.

This is the best hardware store I have EVER shopped out. Workers are always willing to help and with a smile.. I will not go to any of those big box stores anymore. Thank you to the staff here in Miller Place you always make my shopping trip enjoyable. Store manager Michelle is always on the sales floor willing to help customers and the associates so kudos to her for running a great store unlike other hardware stores “that’s not my dept”. Look forward to my next shopping trip!!

I have been coming to Brinkmans for years now for so many of my needs business and personal and my biggest reason for coming is how I am treated like family. Under Michelle's leadership she has brought with her a special and positive way that comes out in all the other people who work along side her. Kelly Alli April and Ashley are super people who always have a smile for you and very eager to help you with anything you need. Over in paint Steve and Gino are like family and I enjoy talking with them while they mix my paint. I hear the same from people I have recomended and have met just going in just how nice they all are and how great they all work together and that has all started since Michelle came. All are incredible people and I will continue using and recommending Brinkmans in miller place.

The manager Michelle is such an incredible help! Every time I go in she helps me find what I’m looking for and helps me pick the item that best suits my needs. Shes very informed on the products and I never have to return anything because she always knows exactly what I need! She’s always so cheerful and kind and I always leave smiling!

Nick in paint is also super helpful! I was struggling to get the proper gray on my walls - it was taking a blue tint and I couldn’t figure out why. He gave me advice on why it was happening and good alternative options. I ended up using one of his suggestions and it’s exactly what I was dreaming of! Since then he’s helped me pick out paint for 4 other rooms in my house!

Every time I go here I leave happy and I’m so thankful that they’re so close by! I trust the staff here to help me find what I need & point me in the right direction.

I just moved to the area and I love this store. The staff is friendly, super helpful, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. The store is well stocked, organized and clean.

Have to say…. These Brinkmann stores have always been my favorite. I live near one and have bought just about everything for my house from them. But today, they surpassed my expectations. I walked in early September, looking for a ridiculous amount of holiday lights. They didn’t have to, but they went above and beyond to locate what I needed, as a team. They went up into the high high shelves and rummaged through brown boxes to find me what I needed to make a client of mine happy. And happy Is not even the word. All parties involved are ecstatic that we could pull this off, on such short notice with such a hard to find item. Good luck finding service like This at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Doesn’t exist. Forever a customer of Brinkmann’s hardware!!! Thank you kelly(?) and Kevin(?). Hope those are their names. They were a tremendous help and eager to hep me with this otherwise annoying request. Not for them. They were happy to help!

The manager Michelle is so helpful, she goes above and beyond for me every time I come in and need help. She always makes my shopping experience at this location a pleasure. I recommend to anyone who comes in to see her she will always get you an answer or solution for anything you are looking to buy.

Mr Brinkman, I am a elderly man that always is looking to save money, will go to Home Depot because it’s cheaper, I needed a drill bit today went to your Miller Place store, a lady said can I help you, showed her the screw I needed a bit for, we found it. if I was on a big box store I would still be walking around with no help. From know on I’ll pay a little more, great services
