Wading River Beach

Very Rocky but beautiful. Water was crystal clear. It was a lovely place to walk for quiet contemplation. There was a small parking lot and playground with some sand but overall I can't imagine how easy it is in summer to sunbathe among the stones

Found this wonderful beach quite by accident. The sunsets here are amazing!! The beach is clean, there are pebbles, shells and large picturesque stones. There is a playground on the beach. There is a cafe near the beach. When we were leaving the beach for home, we saw a white-tailed deer that was in the courtyard of a house near the beach.

Beautiful beach, we were exploring new beaches for sea glass. This is NOT the place to go for sea glass because this has to be the cleanest beach on Long Island! There are baskets you can pick up from the entrance to carry along with you on the beach to collect trash, then empty and leave the basket. There was no garbage, cups, straws, bottles or cans blowing around the beach. We did manage to find 4 tiny pieces of sea glass to add to our collection.

Beautiful beach! I randomly stumbled upon this beach today and couldn't be happier that I found it. Not that crowded (went on Sunday, late morning).

Great little beach, we go after 5pm. This is not a public beach, for residents during the day. Off season free too....

Beautiful pebble beach. Clean water, you can also swim here. It’s safe and sunsets are amazing here. Good parking space. I do pebble hunting here 😍

Cute little beach near where I live, pebbles put some off, great for swimming in the summer, usually quiet and relaxed. You need a permit to park here, checked regularly. Still nice

This is so far one of the beat little beaches on north shore that I visited! You can walk there for an hours. And what a beautiful sunsets and sunrises are there:)

Water is perfect and public parking avaliablity lower down the street.

Incredibly clean and spacious beach that’s easy to create space between you and other beach goers. Easy recommendation if you’re in the area.

This is a nice spot for kids to play & have fun on the beach. Relaxing in a unique way.
