Bits & Pieces Thrift Store

This was my first visit to the Thrift Shop. It's a great local place to donate & shop in Bastrop. Dropoff was easy. Calvin who helped me unload my donations was so helpful & friendly!!

Best thrift store in this area. Clean, well-stocked and friendly staff!

This is a great alternative to Goodwill. Their prices are considerably lower. Found some good stuff for the whole family. Got a coffee pot and a bathroom scale. Two things we didn’t have but were holding off on buying for months now on account of the inflation this past year. Got some other great finds too. Got a washable chopstick set for the kiddo. She likes that sort of thing and they even came in a pretty little velvet case- for only $2! My wife pretty dress with flowers on it that fits her perfectly. Lots of variety to spend your afternoon perusing around. The staff also had great manners and an overall warm demeanor.

This thrift store is fantastic! It is so refreshing to find any store that has not jacked their prices like crazy. It is clean, well organized, well stocked, the staff are friendly and professional, AND surprisingly, their prices are excellent! I don't know how they keep the lights on!(and if I'm not mistaken- all the profits go to fund shelters for abused women👍🏻)

I've loved this place for years, ever since I was a kid. Me and my grandma went today looking for a specific dining chair and didn't find one! But they're selection is great and cheap. Also customer service was great. Definitely recommend 💕

Helpful and friendly staff. What I like most about it is that all the proceeds go to a women's shelter. Also a great bonus that their prices are very fair on clothing, the prices are a bit high for second hand. The store is very well organized and clean.

I stopped in this evening and one of the sales associates Margaret who btw is a very nice woman she always welcomes me with a smile. Also Margaret has on several occasions gone the extra mile to help me with this and that. Well today she went above and beyond in my opinion... I've been looking for gently used cute overalls for some time now and she not only remembered me inquiring several times if she might have some..... & Eureka she sought some out for me and found me a pair. 😁 Thank you so much Margaret for making my day and always making me feel welcomed. You Rock!!!
All of the ladies from bits and pieces are nice. I love this spot and recommend it to friends, family and complete strangers at least 2-5 times a week.

I love it here! My biggest irritation with thrift stores is that they are usually in a small, dimly lit space and make my selective claustrophobia kick in. This store has high ceilings, it's well organized, and I don't feel like there's a risk of me getting buried under people's throwaways if there were a (very unlikely) earthquake.
I can always fine something on my shopping list and things I didn't know I needed!
They're easy to donate to and I know the proceeds are going to a great cause!!

I love to go on road trips and stop in at Thirft Stores. This one is one of my favorites, I have found several really good bargains. Not only are their prices great, but they support Battered Women Shelter.

I know not everyone is up for secondhand stores, but this place is so much more! They not only are a good locally owned secondhand store that doesn't have corporate Big shots making money, the big thing with this store is that they work directly with the family crisis center! It's not just a matter of buying discount second hand items but you are truly helping others and making a huge impact in the community!!!!

They have such neat things. The prices are always good, and the deals on books are great. Much cheaper than Goodwill.

Go support. Good quality 2nd hand items for cheap. This store has everything.

Stopped in for the first time looking for a small shelf/cabinet for our reading nook. We found a really unique piece for only $15. The staff was very sweet. Will definitely return next time I'm in bastrop.

Bits and pieces is my favorite store in Bastrop. I not only love their mission, their prices are awesome too! They feel the community gave to them. They want to give back to the community. Love love love this thrift store!

Thrift stores are great the only problem is that they are getting more expensive. Just saying, the stuff is given to them their tax free and I know overhead. But that's a lot of profit for only donating I believe it's still only 10%? But overall Great! The other is my own opinion.

I love this thrift shop. The stock changes regularly and you can find many items here including home goods, electronics and lots of clothes. It's a fun place to browse even if you don't have a purchase in mind and it also supports a good cause.

Great finds and very well organized store gives this a definite 5 star rating. Friendly staff and clean store. It is worth visiting every week.
