The staff was very kind and patient, It was my first time here visiting and had no idea what to expect. The young lady at the counter was very informative of the menu and suggested the cilantro chicken sandwich. I ended up also ordering a coffee with my sandwich. The food came out in a timely mannered, and the sandwich was perfectly warmed up. The plate came with lays chips as a side and the coffee was delicious. I love the atmosphere and how comfortable it felt to dine in here. Will be back soon.I added the hours of business, and some photos to help you decide on your next food destination.

The Coffee Dog is AWESOME! I totally dig the atmosphere. Great music, the Zucchini Panini is delish! And the espresso is the BEST! To top it all off, I was greeted with a well mannered gentle giant of a guy. The young man taking my order was kind and funny. I will definitely be back!

Road tripped to Bastrop with my best furry friend last weekend.
Came here because I googled Dog Friendly breakfast, and it popped up. Technically there's no dog friendly dine-in options here, but my Bastrop options were limited and they have a drive through, so we tried it. Coffee was great, breakfast panini was amazing, and Turner loved his pupcup. We used the drive thru. Expect a longer-than fast-food wait, because ... It's not fact food!

Good coffee and good food at good prices. My favorite is the Deli Wrap. Laid back and friendly staff - recommend!

I usually just come for the cinnamon rolls which are beyond amazing, but today I thought I’d try a drink and I was not disappointed at all! The young girl with light brown/blonde-ish hair at the register was the absolute sweetest and was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a drink for me based on my preferences. I will absolutely be back and will urge my friends to stop by too!

Very welcoming and friendly owner and staff. A family atmosphere and greT place to meat family and friends over a coffee and breakfast or light lunch.

I placed a very large call ahead order for my coworkers and I. We travel to the area to provide medical care. Sometimes when I'm ordering for 10 or more, I expect to have a negative reaction. But instead was met with understanding and friendliness. Our order accuracy was great. I hope we can come back next time we're in the area.

Great coffee and friendly customer service. Fun & funky local coffee shop with homemade pastries. Large menu & a drive thru. I had a cafe mocha and my friend had the special egg nog latte. Both were rich, hot & delicious. You know you’re in the right place when you walk in and there’s large bags of coffee beans at the door!

Fantastic little coffee shop to work at and enjoy your morning coffee! The staff is so kind and caring, I look forward to many more visits.

Never tried Coffee Dog before but I was in the area of that little shopping center or whatever so I came in and got a caramel macchiato and it was amazing. The barista behind the counter also very friendly and very patient as I wasn’t used to ordering coffee and normally make it at home. Overall experience was really great!

I’m not much of a coffee person at all but every now and then would go to starbucks (never even really enjoyed it). However since the boycott i decided to try something else nearby and omg i love this place!
I got a coffee and made sure to get the smallest size because I’m so picky and knew I probably wouldn’t like it but i loved it and the barista was so sweet!
Happy i found my new favorite place, buy from businesses that care!

Got a cinnamon roll, iced coffee and iced tea to-go. The cinnamon roll was one of the best we’ve ever had. I split it with my partner and instantly regretted not getting two. Service was great and prices are reasonable. Will be back soon! Update: we’ve been back many times since my original post and it’s always delicious! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Starbucks while Coffee Dog is around :)

Coffee Dog is absolutely the best coffee in town. Roasted in the shop, their coffee replaced the Black Rifle brew my family subscribed to. Starbucks has nothing on Coffee Dog in coffee, beverages, and food.

Oh my goodness it is so worth the wait! I got a spinach chicken quiche. So delicious! I mainly went for a smoothy since it's a warm day, found out the green smoothy is sooooo good 👍
Then I asked if they were still serving any breakfast tacos, she said they stopped at 11, but they have quiche all day. I love that I choose this! Always have great food and coffees there, but this day was exceptional!

I absolutely love this place and they have amazing drinks as well as tacos and the best sandwiches 😋 I did notice an older lady come in and raging at the counter because she had to wait 10 minutes and I was very surprised that she would act that way because the staff wouldn’t roll out the red carpet for her when she walked in the door and serve her first 🙄 I have seen toddlers in their terrible two stage act more respectful than her and I felt so bad for that poor girl at the counter ! This is a very nice place and wonderful staff and delicious food so I highly recommend !
