The manager Shoria is always so pleasant and greets everyone with a smile! Her overall presence and positive attitude is always appreciated and seen!

What a wonderful store! We have shopped the Food Lion on Wendover forever but the construction is a nightmare. Thanks to Marcus, Store Manager, he suggested Eastway. It's fabulous! MUCH larger, huge aisles and tremendous selection. Staff are very friendly. We're so happy to shop here!!!

This is my store I love it I'm in there at least every other day if not every day. Yes there's one down the road that I could go to but I like the people here the customer service is wonderful thank you to all the employees who work so hard at
My Food Lion...

It's a pretty efficient running Food Lion. Friendly staff and it's always clean, plus well stocked. I'm glad this shopping center is starting to upgrade with other merchants. As it is my opinion, some of the longtime nearby residents, haven't always appreciated this Food Lion. Despite that, this store has continued to serve the area. Now it will be rewarded for its loyalty to the area, with a fresh new influx of shoppers, drawn in by new investing merchants.

Food Lion doesn't have the stock of Harris Teeter or Publix, but it's great at what it does have, which is generally lower prices and good, basic stock.

I couldn't find frozen hash browns, and one of the stockers helped me look. He was also unsuccessful, but I haven't been able to find them at HT the last few times I've been there, either, so maybe there's a shortage for some reason?

Our cashier, Ms. Dee, was honestly the fastest cashier I've ever had the pleasant experience to observe, and I'm 62 so I've had a LOT of cashiers in my life. She was also friendly and very nice. I can't say enlighten great things about her.

$231 later, we were out the door. I actually enjoy grocery shopping, and it was an extremely pleasant experience.

I absolutely love this place, it is my favorite grocery store in Charlotte. If you want to spend 5 minutes trying to park and then get totally ripped off, yeah sure, Harris Teeter is fancier. For those of us who actually care about money this place is awesome! The best deals in meat, I never buy meat for full price here. Very friendly staff and it's never too busy (like Harris Teeter). The only downside is that about half the time there are people panhandling outside in the parking lot, so keep your eyes out, they aren't aggressive but could scare you if you're not expecting someone to pop up on you. There's a security officer inside the doors though. All in all though this place is wonderful, to the employees, keep doing what you guys are doing! You guys rock, it's always nice to see a smiling face, you never know what people are going through, seeing y'all makes my day better.

Food lion is always an answer to your dinner issue , need something for a last minute meeting swing by. Great staff, great prices and all the stuff you need in one spot. Awesome covid safety measures make it still a cool shopping experience.

Friendly cashier, she spoke upon me walking up. She represented great customer service skills ask the way around [greeted, smiled, asked did find everything, gave total after discount, invited to come back.

Very nice employees, they are all always courteous, kind and friendly. Pretty good selection and good Food Lion prices! Just be wary of the panhandlers in the parking lot, and gets very ghetto after dark.

Today I got food from their deli. Everything looked freesh and organized. Also, I was standing in a line with only one person in front of me, a cashier still saw me waiting, stopped stocking and took me in her line. I thought that was nice.

I enjoy shopping here. This location has a number of friendly faces, who have connected with me. They actually care about my medical situation and frequently ask how I'm doing, without prodding. Makes my day.

Love it here, Everytime it is a wonderful shopping experience. Management it's very helpful, cleanness rating between Harris Teeter being second and Publix first and food Lion third. Produce fresh ALWAYS... SPEEDY SERVICE crazy thing is, I shop here every week and it ain't even my local neighborhood grocery store.

I like this food lion. The entire staff is friendly and some even make conversation at checkout. Anytime I need help, whomever is helping me goes OUT OF THEIR WAY to help lol it's a little annoying sometimes but that's just customer service! The prices are AMAZING and anytime the lines are long they rush to open an additional one. I can't lie, I frown upon the one or two people outside begging for change but that's in every part of the city and I focus on the store itself... not the parking lot. Some whites would just rather have this establishment closed down bc they want the entire world to themselves and this is the only grocery store this neighborhood has. And it's mostly minorities so of course some may call it an "eyesore" but in my opinion it's a well ran establishment with good customer service. The entire shopping mall isn't bad.

Life is better with the lion. I have heard that commercial and I can see how that is a fine way to advertise a company. But there is another commercial that I think is a littler bit much. The commercial where the lion is roaming around the house and interacting with a family. I would be pretty scared if some random lion started following me around.

The staff at this location are absolutely amazing! They are helpful/ always go out of their way to make my toddler smile, because of them this is the only grocery store my family shops at.

Had an issue with a product I purchased, I called them up as soon as I got home and spoke to the manager. I showed up the next day, she remembered my name, instructed her staff, solved my issue. Fantastic professional manager, great staff.

Decent selection, clean store, employees are very helpful and eager to be of assistance. One of the best Food Lions I've been too.

Good store for less money if you know your prices and how to shop store brands.

Went in a pinch as I had ran out of dog food, was pleasantly surprised with the selection and deals on various dog treats. Will be back for more
