Stripes Convenience Store

I visited this location today, and expected to get something out of the warmer cabinet. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by one of the cooks who seemed to know what she was doing and had a great variety out for me to choose from. I found something that I have not had a while because of other Cooks putting the food up early at other locations so I decided to get a couple of burritos. They were as good as I have ever had, they were cooked to perfection and a tortillas where amazing. I am happy to be able to to come to this location being that I live down the street. Thanks again!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff there! My go-to Stripes in town and not even close! Make this your daily gas station pilgrimage, by far!

Clean restrooms and Samuel was the friendliest clerk I have ever encountered in a convenience store :)

This store might be the grossest on the south side of Lubbock. The bathroom (see photos) ilwas really gross for a clean bathroom. Stopped in for propane exchange and they didn't have the key. Seriously. Probably won't ever shop here nor get gas. Overall, never again.

Do not go to this Stripes between 8pm and 12am. They will have a sign taped on the door that says "Will be back in 10 minutes". This sign will be up for a minimum of 1 hour while they are taking a nap or going home or anything else a lazy person would do on the job. I took a gamble and went last night (4/11/23) around 9:30pm and came across this sign with the doors locked. So im going to go to the Quicktrack across the street where I know i can go anytime. (They will always have some kind of sign on the door to deter customers from coming in. Either the sign above that i encountered yesterday or sometimes "Card systems down Cash only" or something else. They are just LAZY and do not want to WORK!! FIRE THESE EMPLOYEES or SHUT YOUR STORE DOWN)

Been shopping here several times every week. Occasionally they won't accept debit/credit because their system is down and it's a pretty big inconvenience. Today, however, they weren't able to sell alcohol until 6:45pm the sign on the door said. At 6:56pm I try to buy some but the clerk said they weren't able to, obviously oblivious to the time. After pointing it out, they said they had a mandatory order to scan ID'S and their manager wasn't there to fix the problem. So I went to another location were the employee verified they DO NOT in fact have to scan your ID. Won't shop here anymore.

Went in on July 8th 2021. Went to use my card and it didn’t work. They tried on both machines. Then was told the card readers weren’t working. 3 other people were told the same thing. So everyone went to the in store atm and got cash. Well I paid for my stuff in cash and some how my card got charged on the same day at the same store for an amount that was not my total.

Dirtiest convenience store I've been to. The restrooms were nasty. Paper towels and used tissue paper everywhere on the floor. Dirty sinks AND your coffee was cold and waaay old. I hope these issues are fixed. Be careful everyone. You won't just need a mask you'll need a whole sanitation suite to come here.
