If you need anything Mexican food related, this is the place. I get everything I need for tamales and the quality is outstanding. They also have take out food, which is the real taste of Mexico.

Huge selection of pan dulce, different types of cakes and pastries. You can special order custom cakes. There is also a supermarket attached to the panaderia which has a big selection of Mexican groceries and goods, attached to the supermarket is a restaurant that has the best carnitas and chicharrones in Sacramento as well as a tortilleria and yummy hot food. They all have separate entrances.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles where there's a Mexican market on every block. When we moved to Sacramento we struggled to find an authentic Mexican market. Then we found La Esperanza! It is the only legit Mexican market in South Sacramento and the only place where I can find everything my Abuela used in the kitchen and around the home. Thank you La Esperanza, for making Sacramento feel like home.

I am very glad this store opened up, it is very clean and organized! The staff is very nice and you can get lots of things there! The pan dulce "Mexican sweet bread" is delicious too! I have not tried the hot food yet, but a friend says it's great! Yes, that's up next!!!

I think I was there on a good weekend. Chicken is on sale. $2.59 the pound of chicken breast and other items on sale were all available. There was no line, all of the registers were open. Last time I went there, was about a year ago. Service has improved

Love this store. They have the best meat in town. Al Pastor is delicious. Also with the panderia attached and has the freshest pastries. And if you and your family want already made Mexican food, then you can order right next door.
