Sun Valley Market

I live in Vallemar and go here at least a few times a week. The staff is incredibly friendly and get to know you. Moreover, they have kinda everything, including old school candy, emergency produce, pre-made fresh food, and organic variations if that's your thing (it's my wife's thing, so I count on it in a pinch :)). Prices can be a bit higher than a chain for some things, but I often find them lower too. Definitely not traditional convenience store gouging at all.

I also find that they adjust their stock quickly based on what people are buying, which I appreciate.

I've known the owners since I was 11 years old. The owners are lovely people. Their prices are spot on. They used to own the Quick Mart at the top of Manor Drive & Skyline (of which used to be a 7-Eleven). Beautiful family & good people. The owner, his wife & Wally used to look out for my friend's & I when we were in our tweens & teens.

Great family owned business and reasonable prices.

The best way to get fine food

The greatest little store ever and they have one in the back of the valley too this is right on the corner off highway 1 and valmar there's a gas station next door there's a coffee shop next door and a nice little Mexican restaurant recommend this little corner store and the famous barbecue restaurant in the little train thumbs up

Boar's head deli! I stopped in to see if they had a deli sandwich area and I saw the Boar's Head poster on the wall. Exclusive boars head meats and cheeses. I ordered a pastrami on rye with pepperjack cheese with everything. Pretty decent Sandwich, I plan on coming back.

I came in like a raging lunatic dragging my leg b/c I was experiencing really bad back spasm I forgot my wallet and the lady was kind enough to let me "borrow" the Advil allowing to swelling to go down enough so I could be transported to ER thanks to her my experience was alot different I mean huge. Even if I move away I will drive night/day rain/snow and buy my grocerys there my children's children will shop here.

Produce is fresh and if you go to their market at the back of Linda Mar near Park Pacifica, that one has the best meats in town!!

Their produce are in good quality and very inexpensive. Beers are very cheap and you can always find some reasonable wines.

The deli is awesome. She prepared a great spread for me for 10 people. Very nice.
