Boardwalk

At last I have an idea of how I would want to set-up a game store if I ever open another game store. The very BROAD selection of games, so many games and not all the popular games all the games that make game night great. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the customers using the store to play games were friendly, parking was plentiful. Did I mention that there were so many puzzles, games and cards to choose from. This is a great games store, I will go back again if I am ever back in Greenville.

I think this is a really good Pokemon spot. My little brother comes here once or twice a month and loves the Pokemon league on Saturday nights. The staff is always so helpful with all of his thousands of questions. For me I love their board game selection and I'm never bored looking around while he's playing Pokemon. Been here many times and will come again.

I love going into Boardwalk about once a quarter. At first it started because my husband loves games, but then I really started getting into it as a way to connect with my husband. I also love seeing all the store employees. Now, 5 years later it’s become a family affair. I love visiting to get a new game for my 2 year old daughter or myself. Now, I can’t wait til my son is old enough to play with everyone.

They’ve got a great selection of games for ages 2+. The staff always have great recommendations when I walk in and describe games I enjoy. Overall one of my favorite places to visit.

Fantastic game store with the finest selection of board games I have ever seen. Very friendly owners and staff. Great prices. Cannot go wrong here. They also very generously host many different game nights to come play your favorite games while meeting new people. Superb!

This place has been well-staffed every time I've been here. They people working here are outgoing and helpful.

They have a wide assortment of things here, from D&D manuals, to traditional board games, traditional card, all the new fancy shiznit, kids games, and booster packs/cards for your favorite games.

They have singles for Magic cards as it is the main focus/most popular game around here, however, they do carry the latest Yu-Gi-Oh cards. What booster packs you buy, if you get a box set (24) in Yu-Gi-Oh's case, then you get it 25% off.

Love the aesthetic of the store and the people of play in it.

I normally do not take the time for reviews, but for this case it was worth it. The location is very friendly and inviting. Their selection of card games, board games, tabletop games, and additional accessories is very nice. The prices are fair and they work on creating a community for their customers. I live over an hour away from the location but I still choose to come here over closer options due to everything above. If you have not came here before, I urge you to give them a visit.

Fantastic local game store! Enjoyed playing Disney Lorcana here, and they have a HUGE selection of board games, puzzles, trading card games, and more. Def worth visiting and playing at!

I’m not entirely sure why I’ve never left a review, but here it is.

I’ve been going to Boardwalk for over 20 years. Not only is it the most welcoming game store in the southeast, its selection is unparalleled. I make a point of visiting game stores when out of town, and nothing comes near the selection, welcoming attitude, playspaces, knowledgeable staff, pricing, memberships, and snack offerings. I am now honored that my kids are regulars as well, despite being 3 and 4, and they are known and welcomed by the staff as I am. Here is to another 20+ years.

Boardwalk is an excellent example of the friendly local game store (FLGS). The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The store itself is clean, comfortable, and inviting. They have games you can checkout for free to play with your friends, and they host game nights for various types of board and card games. I am a repeat customer and plan on continuing to give them my business.

I took my son to this shop for the first time yesterday. It was awesome! We were impressed with the variety of items and customer service we received. Kaimi was very knowledgeable and very patient with my son. Thank you Kaimi for making our first visit awesome!

I just adore this store! It's difficult to find board game stores these days with all the electronics, but this place has it all. They have board games, puzzles, and decks of cards (and I'm a collector of artistic decks, so that had me sold). They also have a game library where you can try out some of the games before you purchase them and I never know whether I'll actually like a game or not. As if the store isn't nice enough alone, the staff are super friendly. Just all around great place.

BY FAR THE BIGGEST GAME SELECTION I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! Being in Anderson now there is a game shop but this place is 4x bigger with 3 separate game areas, a game library, and snacks available. They were very helpful on my journey to find Dice.

I ended up with I believe 10 -12 new sets of dice. Definitely going to be a new go to spot for games. I even ended up with a large set of dice that came in its own wooden box, very nice selection of games, dice, and accessories.

Just had a blast at the Learn To Play DND event, the two people at our table from AvantiaDND were super cool and funny, and walked through me and the two other people I was paired with there on how to play, what kinda things you can do and really just how to get into it and have fun. I had a good time spreading The Word with my boys Kyle, Lubin and Hugh, and I would definitely recommend others to look into this store.

The store and the staff who actually work there were super kind and helpful as well, and seem to really care about the community (I’m always hearing about give aways and events where you can play the games at local bar type places) So that’s also a plus, it’s definitely a very chill place.

Also, I didn’t realize how many boardgames you could actually have, the selection was huge and I’ll definitely come back for non DND things as well.

Bought 2 new games today thanks to Kaimi and Miles!!!! They took the time to play Dungeon Mayhem with us and were super fun and engaging (even though we lost, sigh). Already told my friends about it to come back (:

Boardwalk is a great store for all things board/card games, but they also have collectible card games like Magic the Gathering and Pokemon. The staff is always fantastic and helpful and they are always willing to share their thoughts on new games. One of my favorite things about this particular store is that you can play test a ton of games they sell before you buy! Anytime we're in Greenville we stop in, and we never leave empty handed!

This store had quite a few board games and accessories. There were people there playing a card tournament. Everything was clean and well organized. My husband an I are gamers and love magic the gathering and dungeons and dragons. The store doesn't stock very many singles for mtg. We did find some dice we liked for dnd.

Excellent selection of games, super knowledgeable staff, plenty of recommendations, tons of games in the library, lots of table space and they do MTG. I always spend a few hours here!
