I went in for a visit on 3/24/24, early afternoon. I am replacing my entire shoe wardrobe to accommodate new medical devices that are nonnegotiable, and must fit in the shoes I am wearing. After asking around, I heard Vans were a good start with braces. I went in that day, explained what I was looking for, and was literally helped the entire hour I was in the store, and personally attended to without a break. I tried on more than five styles and more than ten pairs and the folks working were so unbelievably kind in getting everything I needed, even if that meant having the items shipped. I would absolutely shop here again. Best customer service I have received in a long time.

This review is long overdue. I had visited this location first week of December 2022. They had excellent customer service and sales at that moment. We were greeted right when we walked in. The store was clean and very organized.

We stopped in during our current vacation and couldn’t wait to post this review. When I say everyone I mean EVERYONE that works here is phenomenal. They were such bright faces and had the best personalities to match. HUGE shoutout to the store manager B who went above and beyond to make our day special. Whatever you’re getting paid, you deserve so much more. To the woman that helped me who was also genuinely amazing (so sorry I suck at names) bring your pup to that beach! I will be purchasing some work shoes soon! With the road-trip finances are tight so shoes will happen later :)

The peasant in me felt out of place even though it's literally skater apparel central, and not because of the prices. It just felt like a nice place to be. Staff was chill and very helpful and the whole experience was positive. Absolutely considering a second trip and think I might be a poor virgin sneakerhead now.

Extremely helpful customer service

Great, clean place where they give you the full shoe-buying experience. They will measure your feet to make sure you get the right size & cheerfully bring out multiple boxes of shoes. Everything in the store is all Vans, so you can buy clothes & hats as well. Just a very nice place, thanks Vans store!!

Visited on Labor Day right before close. Staff was helpful and continued to pull shoes out of the back for me a couple minutes after close. Store floor is very locked-in (in a good way), with employees communicating via an earpiece at all times. I left with a slick pair of shoes that will last a couple years and cost less than $100. What’s not to like?

Kimberly is the best of the best of the best!! I had gone in to return an item and look for a pair of shoes and Kimberly helped every step of the way!! when they didn’t have my item in stock I was offered other size options to make sure I was getting the correct fit and then beyond that Kimberly helped me locate my perfect shoe :-) the whole time maintaining a fun environment despite me having had a lame day!! she made my day for sure

I've been going to this Vans on 2nd for a few years because there are always great products plus great service with friendly, professional, patient employees. They are in a wonderful, busy location in beautiful Long Beach with one of the few Vans business storefronts I was told!! Definitely adds to the neighborhood with that California vibe!

Just stopped by to see if I can exchange shoes I got as a gift. And was looking for a specific one unfortunately they didn't have it but the associate mikeala did everything in her Power to locate a pair and again no success unfortunately. But she was amazing yea a bummer we couldn't get the shoe we wanted but she did give us store credit in hope we would find the shoes. It was my first time at this location and she made the experience great, I will definitely come back instead of going to the crowded store at the malls. Thank you so much for your help and patience!

Great place to shop the times I’ve stopped in this location they didn’t have my size shoe but staff offered to call others stores take my name and call me when my size came in and also told me how to purchase on line . The service was great even with not having my size shoe. Definitely a store you should support with your shopping money .
