Medicine Store Pharmacy

Shout out to the Medicine Store, 409 Lowell St, Wakefield. I have gotten my Covid shots there and called to see if they do Shingles. Yes they do. I called close to when they opened and the Pharmicist picked up!. He is so polite and friendly. I can do a walkin. He asked if I wanted to have him look up to see if my insurance covers it. Wow! Its a very tiny place. I dont mind the wait when I have gone, because the service is wonderful, the people that work there are wonderful and I like supporting a local business. When I have gone there before I felt like I was back in Mayberry. I can tell his regulars adore them.
update: went for my shot. A customer was there for his Elderly Mom's shot. She got to wait in the car and Michael came out to adminster the shot for her. Another customer came in and he was asking how his family member is doing and tell her I said hello. Ya, it was a nice visit to Mayberry today, a dose of niceness.

Incredible service. Spoke to Mike on the phone, and when I went in, Mike was very confused until we realized I spoke to a different Mike.

Anyway, Mike was able to help me out and really saved my butt when I didn't bring enough of my medications when visiting family in Wakefield.

very helpful and answered my questions about my insurance. The pharmacist and the women who helped me also was very helpful. I am glad i changed to this pharmacy.

Michael is the absolute best. Caring, considerate & takes the time to explain everything. When my 102 year old mother-in-law needs a flu or booster she just stays in the car & he comes out to give it to her. I doubt anywhere else would do that. Great selection in this place & if he doesn't have what you are looking for, he will order it & have it within a day or two. Can't say enough positive things about Michael & this business. I will be a forever customer.

The staff at This Pharmacy is top-notch. They were very friendly and helpful, answering all of my questions with a smile on their face! The prices are also reasonable which means that you can get what treatment or medication will work for your budget without having too much trouble paying it off each month.

This place is amazing. It's a small independent pharmacy and the owner, Michael is an amazingly nice guy. He seems to know everyone's name that walks in and knows exactly what they need. I gave them my prescription and they filled it on the spot, immediately.

On my way out he called me by name and said he hopes I feel better and have a great day.

Michael and his staff are so welcoming and caring. I don't like the big pharmacy stores because you don't get that personal care. Your just a #. At the medicine shop they treat you like family. You won't find a better Pharmacist then Michael. He never rushes you! And he explains everything!! The absolute best Pharmacy hands down!!!! Thank you Michael and your staff. You all are the best!!!

This pharmacy is run by some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are so patient and take the time to explain/answer any question you have. At a time where everyone is short staffed and spread thin, this place keeps their cool. I would rather come here than any other major pharmacy moving forward.

As someone with many chronic conditions who has used a few services for pill packs at the big pharmacies.. I don't know why I did that. I just don't know? Michael has never messed up my medicine. He's been more than accommodating with all my different prescribers and getting everything refilled at the same time, literally the first time that I switched over to him. Something that CVS never was able to do in the 10+ years I've been there. Sometimes I just want to call him to talk cause he's so nice and that is just so rare in pharmacies.

I only wish my family had switched to this pharmacy vs CVS long ago! Twice now they have saved the day for my husband’s scripts with very little notice, much kindness, and even staying late to help us in a pinch as brand new clients. I would highly recommend this team!

This is a small locally owned pharmacy with good prices and fantastic service. Michael is the owner and operator of this small town local pharmacy. Like cheers it's a place where everyone knows your name and you always feel welcome. I moved out of Wakefield a few years ago and live several miles away yet I like this place so much I don't mind it being a little out of my way for the friendly customized service I get here.

There truly aren't enough stars to give this gem of a pharmacy. Michael is the most compassionate, kind and knowledgeable pharmacist. Unrivaled for service and true customer concern. I drive past several larger drugstore chains to give them my business. I can't say enough great things. Try it once and you'll see for yourself!

I came here yesterday for my covid vaccine booster and I am so so happy i found this place. Michael and his store are so attentive and very welcoming and calm. He makes you feel familiar and welcome. I felt compelled to write a review.

My first time going to Michaels store, he is a phenomenally nice man, he goes above and beyond on your first visit to get to know you, your needs, with so much pleasantry, I have found you don't get from the big chain pharmacy, to them your just another number, this man will get to know you and your Dr personally, so you won't leave disappointed, he has a great clientele, right away I saw why. I give it above the 5 stars. You feel so welcome and in competent hands right away, it's so nice to have a real pharmacist that cares about you, not just a number in a herd of people. If you live in the area, I recommend him highly without reservations, and I don't say that lightly about places, definitely not after a first visit, he's like a friend, as well as a competent pharmacist, if you find the chains as alot of us do, you would be more then pleased
