I don't know fish, but they do know guns. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. They sold everything from Enfield muskets to Maryland legal AR-15. I only wish I could get this kind of service in California.

Great selections and even better customer service! All your folks are very knowledgeable in everything you handle... most importantly, their knowledge of your pistols, shotguns, and rifles!

My family and I stopped here on our way to Point Lookout. It was very very early on a Sunday morning and according to the times listed on google, we didn’t think they would be open. To our surprise, they were definitely open! Not sure If these were summer hours though, but we were grateful! They had exactly what we needed.

The people were wonderfully kind and helpful! Talked to every customer as if they were their best friend. They don't seem to be there to "make a buck" off of tourists. They seem to genuinely want you to be successful. The guy that looks like Chumlee from Pawn Stars and the young man who wears a couple wide, silver rings on his hands were both extremely thorough in their explanations and directions to get as many fish and crabs as possible. We went back to the store twice on vacation. We highly recommend The Tackle Box.

Prices are a little high but not excessive and good selection and good customer service.

Best fishing, tackle, archery,guns, and ammo selection than anywhere around, great staff knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. They buy sell and trade guns as well as fix guns and fishing poles. Best Bloodworms in entire area shipped in from Maine!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wide array of fishing supplies and a great selection of hunting and firearms to boot. Always glad to share information and never pressure a customer for sales. You will end up spending your money happily knowing you got a great deal!

Great help from the owner today. I've fished for years, but I'm new to the area. He gave me a few tips and told me what was hitting. The younger guys are great and helpful, but they are still learning.. LoL Decent prices, but if you need last minute drinks, snacks, or alcohol go somewhere else or you'll pay.

Very pleased with the 2 young men I met today..very helpful..bait prices fair..plan to return soon to re-exam a used shotgun that caught my eye

Something for everyone here. Their prices have remained fair throughout the 2020/21 shortages, whenever they are able to get restocked with ammunition, powder, primers, firearms, etc. The staff is friendly and seem to really like their jobs. Definitely a hidden gem.

This place is great. I recently moved to the area and was looking for fishing and crabbing supplies.

The store was pretty full with tackle, but had the essentials.

The best part was the staff gave me info on how to catch drum from my dock. I am loving it!

Hands down, the best tackle/bait/Sporting goods store in Southern Maryland!!

I avoid Fred's sporting goods in SpraWaldorf like the plague, shifty service & selection.

The staff is great and they are always willing to help find just what you need. Whenever I come in I spend half my time sharing fishing and hunting stories between the employees. Everyone is extremely friendly and I cannot recommend this shop enough.
