MISSION BBQ

Just want to extend my gratitude for Cameron and the rest of the staff today 11/8. I stopped in to grab something before going into work, and everyone greeted me as I came in and made sure to speak again as I departed. I got my monthly order of turkey, and it was delicious as always. I thank you again, Mission BBQ!

This is a tightly run ship, with genuine and welcoming employees and delicious food. They have earned my business, and I will be sure to return whenever I visit the area on business. My only feedback would be larger portion sizes for macaroni and french fries (I am a big boy)

Wow, I have to say my first visit here, changed my mind! I thought it was more of a corporate restaurant but it's not. Cole and Melanie, we're both helpful and so kind. Melanie took the time to explain the menu, while Cole entertained my best friend's Father who was a Vietnam veteran who also found the place a delight! He was thrilled about the bang for a buck at this place too! Loaded us up on meat, and allowed us to sample the different types of meats as well their side dishes!!
You may not get told this often, but thank you, Cole and Melanie, for your service! Changed one's mind and tickled an old veteran! Have a wonderful holiday both of you, who shared such kind hospitality you don't see nowadays in the service industry it truly is a rare find and you both were the gemstones!!

Really good meat!! But the sauces are not meeting my expectation. None of the sauce is spicy, and more on sweet and sour flavor. I do understand not everyone like spicy, and I am probably the long tail. Nevertheless, still worth giving a 5 stars. One more thing to mention, the sauce bottles are somewhat sticky, that made me a little uncomfortable touching them.

We have been here a few times, since it is one place that my family of five can all agree on. For our recent visit, Cole was very helpful while putting up with our indecisiveness. The food was good, as it always is. Good place to go!

I used to live in Maryland but have recently moved to Florida and I miss Mission BBQ. We had our wedding catered by Mission BBQ and the servers were professional, pleasant, and attentive. The food was hot and delicious. For lazy days, I buy the family meal and it's good for at least 2 meals, even for a family of 5! Love Mission BBQ, wish I had one in Pensacola area!!!

Not the best BBQ I've ever had, but it is pretty good. The staff is awesome and always putting in lots of effort. They keep the place clean and treat you right.

How have I not reviewed this before? I have been going here with my units for over a decade. The service has always been outstanding, the meat is top tier and even gives our Texan natives a run for their money. I'll be coming here as long as the Navy lets me serve!

Hands down the best brisket I've ever had. This place is amazing! I also really enjoy the variety of barbecue sauces that are available, something for every pallette.

Been here mostly for lunch several times over the last few years. Always great food and service. Will definitely keep going back.

As usual it is always good! The food was great, everything was served at the proper temperature. The lobby was clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rest rooms were clean and stocked. The atmosphere and decorations make you feel like they truly care about our true heroes.

I went to order myself something to eat while my beautiful daughter was at the St. Mary's Hospital trying to rest in between contrations & awaiting for her to dilate to 10cm. She & her husband had been admitted on Sunday evening & went thru alot & while they both were napping I took a trip to Mission BBQ. The guy that rang my order in was so helpful in asking me all the right questions so I knew exactly what I was ordering & then some. I went to the restroom & by the time I came back out I seen an order sitting on the counter w a gentlemen standing there w a ticket in his hand. He asked if my name was Steph, I said yes Sir. He opened up my platter tray to show me my order & went over what I got to make sure it was correct. Then he asked if I'd like any dipping sauces & I said sure but I wasn't sure what kind so he asked what I liked. I told him I like a sweet but sometimes sour tasting dip so he gave me 2 different dipping sauces plus silverware, etc. They were not extremely busy but had some business inside the restaurant. The ladies bathroom was fairly decent as was the rest of the restaurant. The food was so so delicious. I rec'd a call from my son in law to get back to the hospital bc it was time to push so I had to take food w me but luckily I did order extra meat & another side to share w my son who I knew would be there also but I didn't know he'd never had Mission BBQ b4 & well he devoured my meal. I was able to get some at least but was happy to see my son & ex-husband enjoy themselves. U cannot go wrong by going & eating here. I spent $30 & it was great tasting food which fed 3 ppl. They do give u nice hearty helpings. I was very please w this Mission BBQ as I always go to the Mission BBQ in Annapolis, MD.

Jim, Doug, and Mike are AWESOME! These 3 gentlemen are powerhouse. They are professional, attentive, patient, and courteous. I hope they get a raise this upcoming holiday season and some paid time off.

I love any Mission BBQ location, but the California, Maryland location is especially warm and welcoming! Excellent service and has a wide variety of BBQ meat (serve lean or juicy), as well as delicious sides and sauces. Really enjoyed talking with Laura, who was knowledgeable about the displays of local military and service people and very passionate about honoring veterans. Definitely will be coming back! 😀

Great Melanie was great food was phenomenal being ex navy decor was inspiring plus they sing the national anthem at 12

Very good BBQ, visited from Ga for family. Had the brisket sandwich. Very great place. MJ was very helpful in the history of Mission BBQ. They have a good cheese cake. Great place for Military and first responders. It is a bit pricey but worth it. They make everything fresh there.

Since this Mission BBQ opened, my family has been a loyal customer. This is one of our favorite restaurant.
As you enter this immaculate place, the military memorabilia draws you in and the reverence you feel shows that this business is truly grateful for the service of veterans and the men and women currently serving us.
The manager, Jimmy, is a natural-born people-person and charmer. You can easily see that customer service is a priority because his staff is friendly, attentive and highly efficient.
The food is savory and divine! I absolutely love the pulled chicken and the 1/2 yard bird served with the Alabama White sauce. For pork, beef and fish lovers there are also many delicious options.The homemade sides and desserts are heavenly.
We came to Mission BBQ to celebrate Armed Forces Week. This was a delightful experience. I am so grateful to Mission BBQ for helping my husband and feel appreciated and respected. We highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

I went on Veterans Day and even though it was busy the line went quite fast and the service was great. While I was eating multiple workers stopped by to make sure I had everything I needed.
