This place is awesome!
I'm really impressed with the venue! They offer a fantastic variety of options, from refreshing aguas frescas to delicious seafood and traditional Mexican plates. The freshly made tortillas are a standout. Plus, the fact that they have two bars and outdoor dining areas really adds to the experience.
Definitely I highly recommend this place! The combination of great food, refreshing drinks, and ample outdoor seating makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

You should visit and be your own judge !
We were coming from out of state for a concert. We were told it was super busy on the weekends. We went on a Saturday around 11am. We easily found plenty of parking. Security guards will greet you at the front and you feel a sense of safety. Carts are smaller than regular ones and convenient. It was busy but we were able to walk from corner to corner without issues. I don’t think most people have experienced a real Mexican Mercado. You will be standing shoulder to shoulder with others. My wife ordered from the birrieria and I ordered tacos from a different stand 20 mins after her due to going around and taking photos. My tacos came out first before her order. So they were a bit unorganized at the birrieria. We were able to find seating and it was very clean. A lady would pick up your trash and clean the table right away. She was very kind. We visited just about every stand and everyone was polite and professional. Even at self-checkout the young ladies were very kind and helpful. Prices for us were cheaper than home for produce and products.

-Restrooms Available
-Refillable Water Station
-limited Handicap Parking/Valet Parking Available
-Trash cans conveniently located every few feet (kinda like Disneyland)
-Samples offered in certain areas

Awesome market! It's not a quick stop store for sure. It's an experience. Great food. Great customer service. Clean and organized. Expect long lines to get extremely yummy food 😋 worth the wait.

This is a whole new level of a Northgate. I was so impressed with how big it is inside. Waited 3 years for this to open and it was beyond worth the wait. They have different food vendors. Fresh tortillas and tamales and churros made fresh to order. They have plenty of seating to enjoy your food and even outdoor seating as well. Opening weekend they had valet with how crazy busy they were. Located on harbor and Wilson. Costa Mesa community is beyond happy with this new store opening.

I had a blast. Pretty authentic with a good vibe. There was a tons of good food and was great for hanging out with a bar and live music. Market also had a lot of imported items I haven’t really seen anywhere else. Fresh food where you can see how it’s prepared. They did a good job. I will be returning often.

Great Mexican market with a food court an grocery store

If you need to pick up an item for an event, this is the place to go. Fresh food stations, prepackaged items, good music, good people. You really don’t feel like it’s market. Talk about the experience, colors, flavors an spice!

About 20 stations for fresh food that you can actually see them making. And on site restaurant, Entertainment, Food tasting, a very nice staff.

We will return

The Biggest Northgate Market I have ever seen. It was a grocery store that was huge!! It reminded me of a Winco food store with Hispanic food instead of American food. Kind of like a Costco, it has everything you could ever need. Then there are restaurants inside the store that I will go back to eat from. They make everything you can think of by hand, bread, tortillas, churros, juice drinks, sausages, and so much more...

Wonderful Mexicam all in one market food court. Enormous varieties of food and other Mexican items. They prepare in house a lot of Mexican specialties, tortilla chips, sausage, tacos empanadas, desserts. Must go.

Excellent 5 Star experience! We had the pozole verde and rojo and they were delicious. Great selection of fresh produce, seafood, cheeses, artisanal crafts and alcohol. Having El Morro on site also makes me feel like I’m in Mexico City. Love this place! Friendly and helpful staff too. Only disappointment has been not having coffee at the food court. I recommend that you sell Cafe de La Olla on site for those of us that don’t want to wait in a long line at El Morro. Other than that, we love it.

This place is amazing. It’s a large store with a bunch of small Mexican markets inside, including a small grocery store. It’s all totally authentic Mexican food, and everything is written in Spanish with English translations available. Inside there is a upscale restaurant, a coffee bar, tons of Mexican specialty foods, including tortilla factory, and hot bars for lunch and dinner. I went on opening day and they had a full pig in the meat department, which was fun to see, it was just for the grand opening, there hasn’t been one since.

This is a fantastic Mexican gallery! It's very clean, modern, and professional. There are lots of food stands as well as a full grocery. There's even a nice patio area with televisions showing football games.

Great place everything brand new. There is samples at almost every restaurant. Authentic foods from certain parts of Mexico. Definitely worth visiting and groceries. Can't forget to stop at the full bar.

The best way I can describe this Market is like... thi is the Whole Foods for Latin American. It's beautiful, clean, anything you need or want... you got it! They even have a nice restaurant inside the Market with a great Chef 👩‍🍳 that come out to explain to us the menu and the history of the food. Amazing! Churros made to order with a delicious hot chocolate or fresh coffee. A almost forgot to mentioned.. a beautiful bakery! Highly recommended!

This mercado is sensory overload! Whether one wants a beer, available at the full bar at the entrance, or fresh fruits and vegetables, it's all available under one roof. Based on my experience, the layer it gets, the more crowded it gets. We got there at about 11:30 and were able to order and get our food fairly quickly. We did have to wait in line and keep our eyes peeled to find one of the many highly-sought tables in the food court. We got food at Tacos los Güichos. The torts and tacos were tasty and filling, and they were served with sides of good and friendly customer service.

We browsed through all the various shops and found many items which aren't available at general grocery stores (chayote, every color of bean imaginable, and Mexican and Latin American spices).

The store is also pretty museum/gallery with beautiful art pieces by Hūichol and other Mexican artists. You'll understand why there's security at the doors. The items are $$$$$ and well worth it.

Want to plan the most legit Mexican-thmed fiesta? Mercado Gonzalez has everything you need. From favor bags to candy and artisan piñatas, it's all there.

Like churros? You can save yourself a trip to CDMX and get some at Churos El Moro, one of CDMX's staples. While there was a long line to order, it moves a lot faster than it looks.

Parking was easy and plentiful but valent is also available.

Will return to eat at the restaurant also inside the venue. Hats off to the Gozalez family on this new venture. Hoping they add another one like this in LA.

Great place to shop for any fresh meat, vegetables etc! We loved the little specialty areas as well, including the selection of dried peppers, the churros, and the bakery, just to mention our favorites. Hard to find a parking spot on the weekend, but just shows how popular this place is.

Wow, this market is amazing. Freshly made foods, bakery, restaurant, and churros, too much to list. I took pictures of all the different areas, it is huge. Even though I live 25 miles, I will definitely be back.

Oh wow, what a gem. everything is top-notch quality, with fruits and vegetables of the most beautiful colors. The meat and fish section left my mouth watering. I loved to watch how the tortillas, moles, salsas, and sausages were made. But my absolute highlight was that I found Bolillas in German "Brötchen" omg I could cry with happiness right now.

Opened for about a week and still busy as heck. Lots of varieties to choose from. I decided on a torta de asada and 1 taco de asada from Tacos Los Guichos and my wife got tacos carnitas and tacos chicharron from Don Miguel. The tacos de asada was pretty darn good as well as their salsa. Tortillas were nice, warm and soft while the meat was still juicy and tender as they should be. I hate overcooked steak where it's hard, dry and chewy like 90% of the restaurants. The torta on the other hand was just ok. The bread was overbaked, so it was dry. With the cook pressing the bread as they warm it up it turned into a cardboard. Will definitely be back for the tacos. My wife's carnitas tacos were just ok. Their tortillas were thick and not properly warmed up so were a bit hard and dry. The carnitas meat had a lot of hard and dried chunks. She did enjoy the chicharron. Will have to come back several times to try everything else. The line for Tacos Los Guichos was the longest line there and with a 3 man crew it took about 20 minutes to get my food after paying, which was about 7 minutes in line to order. Yeah it was that long of a wait. Don't recommend it if you're on your lunch break. Overall the place was kept very clean. There's also a bar and outdoor patio seating.

Tamales better than my abuelas..sorry abuela Lupe. Come with the family lots of parking next to tj maxx and home depot. What else a Ross next? Viva Los Gonzalez.
