What used to be Flat Rock DYI has now become Krzyske and some notable changes have taken place. The new store is heavily invested in fasteners. They carry more bolts screws and hardware than before. They don’t carry much in the way of paints now. Don’t ask me to use latex paint. Old school oil based paint for me. I would say the electrical and plumbing departments are
the same. Still. I use this store. It’s local. It’s got what I need. Zip. I’m in I’m out and on my way. Someone always comes to help me find stuff and stays with me to see me checked out.

Flat Rock Do It Center really is a great hardware store. The gentlemen that work there are very helpful and courteous, makes you feel like a long time client the first time you walk in the door. They always know exactly where to find what you need. And, considering they are a smaller hardware store, they seem to have what I need. Today, I found a hose adapter that I was not able to find at one of the bigger chain store further down the road, a 3/4" insert that had a 5/8" harden hose thread on the other end. So, Awesome! And it was cheaper than similar options at the big chain!

They have a nice set up for individual nuts, bolts, washers, special things like shafts, hitch pins, push pins for automotive, various pins for shelving, individual sockets and wrenches. Just like an old school hardware. Love it

These folks are amazing! They've been our hometown hardware store for decades- can't imagine them not being there---- they have been so helpful on so many occasions!
The owners are also very supportive of community projects and our schools. Can't recommend any higher- A+

The hardware guy suggested the store brand drill bits. I was skeptical of a store brand. But he was right. The Best Cobalt dril bit are way better than Dewalt, Irwin, American Vermont. I just drilled 30 holes in steel angle iron and the 1/8" bit is still sharp. I bought 3 because they rarely last. Only used 1!

Is there anything better than the neighborhood hardware store? Excellent selection, and the staff really know their stuff. You cannot get this kind of service from a big box store. Highly recommend!

Surprising how much stuff they have available to fit your needs for such a lil small town hardware store. They make ya feel like an ole friend when ya walk in and are always eager to help you find what you need and don't be afraid to pick their brain for some knowledge/needed information to help yourself out. Prices for the most point are fair.

While this is a small store they almost always have what you are looking for. You are met at the door with a smile almost always and they assist you in finding what you need. They will make recommendations if you ask and share experiences. On the rare occasion that they do not have what you need they will order it for you or tell you where you can find it. It has been an outstanding small town hardware store that I have used for over 40 years.

This is my go to hardware store. They know their customers and keep good inventory. If they don't have it, it typically can be ordered. I've been a coustomer for years. Love this place.

I have visited here regularly for 30 years. And my dad before me. Although new faces have appeared over the years, they haven't gone away. These guys are knowledgeable, and helpful. Respect.
